“Like every saturday night just ordered from the Golden Inn tyldesley and as always the guy on the phone says "for rob yes? 10mins" Rob comes back all emotional with two bags, one with our food and one with a can of carling and a snickers bar. The family are going to china for christmas and the elderly lady wished him a merry christmas and a happy new year from the family, gave him the two bags and came round the front and hugged him. If this isnt a reason to recommened a chinese i dont know what is”

“Had a fantastic lunch here just now. Booked online and had to delay an hour which they were fine about. Had fantastic service and the food was great. I had the rump steak and garlic butter sauce. The steak was cooked perfectly medium just how I asked and that sauce was delicious. Thanks very much!”

Lucy was amazing and really helpful during the planning and on the day everything went exactly as it should all the staff were amazing on the day! jake was so helpful the night before accomadating a big party for food and was amazing on the wedding day too. John our master of ceromonies was fabulous too. All guests commented on how lovely there room was. We used the Delamere suite to get ready and for our wedding night and it was perfect. “I've been here twice, absolutely amazing food both times. The first time I got the Turkish eggs which were amazingly delicious with nice soft bread served alongside. The second time I got a lunch dish, the black garlic gnocchi with artichokes. It was absolutely delicious. I hadn't expected that much flavour from a vegetarian dish but it was mind-blowing from the first bite. Chef Emily and Chef Danny are geniuses in the kitchen, I've never had food so good before! Service was brilliant, my server Grace was so friendly and I didn't have to wait for a seat either time. The restaurant is quite busy because the food is so good, but if you do have to wait it's well worth it. I'll definitely be back for more, the food was worth every penny.”

“Been here a few times with my mum for lunch and it’s always gorgeous. Quiet but nicely decorated, attentive staff and the food is so fresh. We did wait a while for our food yesterday when we went but it’s worth it - I had eggs tricolore and the eggs, mozzarella and tomato were so fresh and the pesto was home made. My mum had a breakfast sandwich and said the meat was also gorgeous and really fresh. Less than £25 for both of us with a coffee each too, so good value for sale. Highly recommend”

“We had a meal here on Saturday night to celebrate Mothers Day with the in-laws. We cannot fault anything. Service was spot on, the food was incredible, and the drinks menu was great. I had the prawn salad to start and the lamb for main. All perfect. My wife is a vegetarian and was very pleased with everything on offer. I generally find beers in restaurants are very average on choice, and especially draught beer in restaurants to be flat, or not poured correctly, but I was in for a surprise. Not just the fact they had Neck Oil on the menu on draught, but it was a very good pint. If I had to give 6 stars I would. Very impressed.”

I'm not a huge fan of chain restaurants, but I have to admit that Gusto exceeded my expectations; food was actually quite decent. We went for lunch on a Saturday, 3 people. We sat on the outdoor area, which is very cute and spacious - ideal for those with baby prams like us!. We tried pasta carbonara, roasted vegetables salad, and the burger. We also had some starters. Everything was tasty and very well presented.”
