“Fantastic professional service received yesterday by Chris. My Husband hates shopping for shoes as he has little patience trying on shoes that rarely fit him from the usual High Street stores. He needed a new pair of Brogue Shoes and he had observed the staff from outside this store attending to a customer and he had been in to the store and was very impressed. After almost an hour, of trying on shoes, we eventually found the right shoes, with fitting and expert advice from Chris. My Husband was very happy with his birthday present of the Loake Edward Brogue Shoes in the beautiful Mahogany colour. We will definitely be back for another pair of shoes or boots as this experience was well worth the trip in to Manchester. Please keep up your good work and your exceptional service.”

“I had a wonderful experience at Adore Salon. It was dreary day which soon turned around when I was warmly greeted by Adeline and Spiro. My hair was washed with great care and then while having it trimmed I was offered a warm beverage which was greatly appreciated after being soaked from the rain outside. Then dried and styled, I am truly pleased with how my hair looks. Adeline listened to how I wanted it and checked to make sure I was happy each step of the way. They have beautiful and exotic flowers which they make into gorgeous arrangements and I always get my Christmas wreath from them, even when I take it down it still looks as fresh as when I bought it. The girls are a delight to talk to and are so considerate when it comes to making my flowers. I use them all the time and would definitely recommend them.”

I've been here so many times now with different friends and even just once for a few cocktails. Always been excellent. Absolutely addicted to the salmon sashimi bowl, my definite go to. The platters are amazingly worth it (I used to live in London so...), portion size was SO GOOD, quality SO GOOD (see pics) Never get hot food here so can't really comment but can confirm it smells and looks yummy.”

“Good, honest Thai food. We've lived in the area for about five years and this is the best take away by far. I normally order the Tamarind Duck which is always great but I fancied a change. I tried the Larb Moo (minced pork salad) instead and it was exceptional. I always order the honey spare ribs and Thai fish cakes as sides/starters and they never disappoint. Tom Kha Gai is also great.”

“Been coming here for a couple of years now. My natural nails are a mess and often when I get acrylics they only last about 2 weeks but here they always stay on well. I have gone 5 weeks with them all still on which is unheard of for me. Nice people, always do a great job. Wouldn't go anywhere else for my nails now.”

Everything was on point, the burger was succulent and the flavour was just perfect, the fries were perfectly seasoned and they just hit the spot. We drove 3 hours just to have these burgers. “Really good food, it's "Americana diner" themed so expect big burgers and big fries. Their fries are absolutely gorgeous by the way, not too salty and came out red hot. Portions were also solid, not too much or too small. The pricing was also good, managed to pay for 4 people (including 2 starters and drinks) under £100. I marked service down a little because they forgot one of my guest's meals so they had to wait while everyone else was already tucking in. It was also quite dark inside, lots of tables in darkness so it was difficult to read the menu.”

“If I were to describe Manjaros in a nutshell, I'd say it was Nandos with a twist. There are a few different options from the traditional grilled chicken which are worth trying. The prices are steep, but the portions are very large and you need to have a very large appetite to finish your plate completely! You also get enough seating for large groups as well as proper table service with waiters and everything - something which really sets the experience apart. Look out for the excellent discounts that may pop up from time to time, making this place incredibly good value. If you enjoy this sort of cuisine, I suggest you give it a shot. It's well worth it. Oh, and it can get quite busy so to avoid disappointment make sure you call up and reserve a table before visiting.”
