Also a good variety of beers available on tap too. For me, it has to be Guiness on tap when in the UK. It’s been 20 years since I had one. Perfect!!”

“Spent an afternoon with a good friend here. The weather was gorgeous which just added to a marvellous day all round. We started with a breakfast in the stable cafe, and a cake to take away. The house itself is breathtaking. The solar is probably up there with the best rooms I've ever visited in a historic house setting. The guide outside the room was delightfully chatty, friendly and informative. Made us feel so welcome. It was great to see some of the conservation set up that they have on the go. We finished with a brisk walk around the grounds to finish the day.”

“An Absolutely Amazing Turkish Dining Experience! Every visit to this restaurant has been nothing short of perfect! The food is always fresh, flavourful, and beautifully presented, truly authentic Turkish cuisine done to perfection. The cocktails are just as impressive each one goes down an absolute treat and perfectly complements the meal. As someone with celiac disease, finding a restaurant that can cater safely and confidently to my dietary needs is rare, but the team here went above and beyond. They were knowledgeable, careful, and made me feel completely at ease. I left with a full and very happy tummy, which says it all! The service is consistently 10 out of 10 warm, welcoming, and attentive without ever being intrusive. The fact that the restaurant is also kid-friendly made our experience even better, allowing the whole family to relax and enjoy together. We honestly can’t thank the staff enough for making us feel so comfortable and well cared for every single time. This place is a real gem we’ll definitely keep coming back!”

“This place is amazing. Visited for the first time yesterday and will certainly be back. The food was great, felt really authentic and was clearly freshly made. It is also so reasonably priced for what you get I was met warmly when I went to collect our order and whilst I didnt get to chat the service was genuine and the people were lovely I don't know what goes into the gravy with the chicken split but I would happily have it everyday My photos do not do this place justice as I was too eager to start eating!”

“I’ve been coming to The Hare and Hounds in Middleton week after week, and I can honestly say I’ve never had a bad experience here. From the classic Sunday roast to the rotating chef’s specials, the food is consistently 10/10 — it’s far beyond what you’d expect from pub food and easily rivals high-end restaurants. Every dish is beautifully presented, full of flavour, and perfectly cooked. Portion sizes are generous, and the prices are almost unbelievable given the quality you get. “Just a first class restaurant with great food, a good selection of drinks, and very friendly staff. I came over from Ireland to visit family and we always go the the Prachee at least once per visit. I've eaten Indian food all my life and this rates right up there with the best. And the prices are very reasonable. I know I mentioned the friendly staff, but I'll do it again because they are. I do a lot of reviews and I normally like to take some pictures and include them. For some reason every time I visit the Prachee I forget to wait for photos and just start eating straight away. The food is that good.”

“We had an absolutely wonderful experience celebrating my sister’s birthday! I initially came across the restaurant on Google while searching for gluten-free options, and I love how it caters so thoughtfully to people with allergies. From start to finish, the service was exceptional. Huge thanks especially to Salvador, he went above and beyond to explain gluten-free options and made the evening truly memorable. The restaurant’s decor, the cake, and the food created a warm, celebratory atmosphere. My sister was submitting her master’s thesis on the same day and wasn’t initially in a celebratory mood, but the team made the day unforgettable. I had the Spaghetti Aragosta e Gamberoni and asked for extra chili and a slice of lemon, and Ericka provided it quickly with a friendly, helpful attitude, her service was great as well. Compliments to the chef too: my sister had the gluten- free pizza and said it was the best she’s ever had! Thank you again, Salvador, we will definitely be back. It’s service like this that makes places truly memorable!”

“Second time having Afternoon Tea here and still great. The staff are amazing. They are welcoming, friendly and attentive. The Afternoon Tea for 2 is tasty and fresh. We also ordered scrambled eggs on toast for our 8month old. He enjoyed it, as did I. It's the best scrambled eggs I've ever had. Came out hot, too, which was even better. Would 100% recommend without a doubt.”

“Amazing English atmosphere, and very lovely and hospital owners , they offered complimentary delicious sandwiches and shared the recipe, and free tasting of beverages after showing interest in the cider. They had a great rule of no phones or laptops which encourages real interactions. Definitely recommended :)”

“I took my friend to show him what I think is one of the most amazing pubs in Manchester, with great history, however when we visited at about 14.20 on Wednesday ( just in case the owner wants to speak to her ) the person behind the bar was the most miserable, unpleasant, uninterested bar person I have come across in a long time , she even struggled to ask for our order she was so disinterested Even when people were coming in from graduation, who were all very excited she just couldn’t be bothered speaking to anyone , apart from her friend at the end of the bar If I do visit again , and she is there we will just walk straight out and go somewhere we are welcome”

“Love this pub inside and out. It’s got so much history and charm. The building used to be the Manchester & Salford Children’s Mission back in Victorian times, where they ran a kitchen for kids and the homeless. Now it’s this brilliant underground pub, and you can still see the old glazed brick walls when you head downstairs, which just adds to the atmosphere. I’d love to see more of that story told inside. There are a few old photos up, but no info with them... a bit of context would make it even better. Doesn’t put me off going though, it’s still one of my favourite spots in Manchester.”

“I came to Cedric's following a AA call out were they advised me I needed a new pulley. I was shown in advance what parts I needed, confirmed the price of parts and labour in advance and then shown the old pulley and belt after the job. My car sounds much quieter. Great communication and opening times for full time workers. Will definitely be back when it is time for my MOT and service. As a female I did not feel intimidated by not having a clue about cars. They did exactly what I asked for and wasn't pushy at all. Going off the number of cars outside each day, I imagine they have alot of loyal customers who go back. Thank you.”

“I wanted a hair product so this was the 2nd hairdresser l had been to and was the most informative the lady listened to my request and pointed out at least 3 products she didn't push the most expensive put reccomed a new product which happened to be the cheapest she and another hairdresser used the same product and they took card didn't ask for cash,l have just used the product and l am thrilled well done ladies l will be back.”

“As a MCFC fan I’ve been here many times. Always a great day out. I’m trying to review this unbiased. So… the stadium has loads of toilets with lines that move quickly. Lots of parking too. Good food options available inside and outside of the stadium. Lots of people are stood around the stadium and can help you. Awesome looking stadium especially at night. Great to see it from down the street and across the bridge. Building work is up at the moment down the tram station side whilst they extend. Fire work display at the champions league match a few weeks ago was great. You know you’ll get a good match here too. Leave a good amount of time before the match to get in and parked as it can take a while to get through Manchester to the stadium from my direction. After the match it can be a quick exit and sometimes it’s a slow exit. They do a great stadium tour that I did about 8 years ago. Would recommend. Cool stadium.”

“Great venue for stand up comedy, not so big that you lose the feeling of being part of the show. Good slope on the seating so the view from further back is still ok. Comfy seats, easy to get in and out, lots of parking nearby.”
