“Came here for our anniversary meal and it honestly was the best meal we have had! The staff were incredible throughout the night, and whilst we didn’t get their names, the young, blonde lady and the middle aged, olive skinned gentleman who served us a glass of bubbly each were amazing. The food is to die for and trust me you will not be going hungry when you leave. Thank you for making our night an unforgettable experience!”

“Dishoom Spinningfields is one of my favourite restaurants in Manchester. When it first opened back in 2018, it was Dishoom’s first restaurant in Northern England, and since then they’ve set a remarkable standard of both food and service quality and certainly left me coming back for more. The interior is super impressive, cool and unique. Dishoom is based on the old Irani cafés in Bombay, and the interior is so large and feels like no other restaurant in the city. My go-to dishes are the Chicken Ruby with Basmati Rice and occasionally the Gunpowder Potatoes. The portion sizes are generous, and the rich spices of the curry are super good — it’s obvious they use great quality ingredients and seasonings. For drinks, again the selection is vast, with my favourites being the regular Chai and the Mango Lassi, which are both really good. There is always a staff member walking around topping up tap water, so you’ll never go thirsty. The pricing is a little high, but I feel it is worth it for the quality. Matka Holders can also roll a dice at the end of their meal to potentially earn everything for free, food and alcohol included, during certain times. This makes it all fun, being able to put the meal on the roll of a dice. Due to having an allergy, I can scan a QR code on the menu for the latest information, and all the staff members are well trained in dealing with allergies. They’re aware of coeliac disease and the danger of cross-contamination, and always keep my items separate from my friends’ when I dine in a group. Overall, this is one of the places to be in Manchester if you’re looking for good food with fantastic allergy awareness, overall ambience/vibes, food and service quality. It’s a place that you can go for a special occasion or even a quick lunch (although a lunch menu / meal-deal offer would make it even more enticing for sure!).”

“I came in with my granddaughter last week, and I must say, the food was exceptional! Upon walking into the establishment, it felt as if we were transported to New York. As a proud American, I must say I felt right at home! My granddaughter, on the other hand—who is very hard to impress—took her time, but by the time the food arrived, her demeanor had changed. We ordered the Benny's Burger, the schnitzel wrap, and the sweet potato chips. I have to mention that my granddaughter did not make the life of the young lady at the till easy. With the number of notes my granddaughter gave for her schnitzel wrap, I was sure she would be laughed at by our server. Instead, we were met with kind responses, smiles, and absolutely no issues. The food came out very quickly, and all three items we ordered were presented exquisitely! Every note was followed perfectly. The service was probably the best I have experienced in this otherwise abysmal country. I come to England at least twice a year from New York to visit my children and grandkids. I try to give each one time alone with me so I can give each the attention they deserve. My son had mentioned that there was a splendid restaurant I had to try; he has ordered Uber delivery from you a few times. I truly recommend the dine-in experience! I will definitely be returning the next time I come to visit the kids. (I do apologize, as I had intended to share the photographs that were taken. But sadly, only my granddaughter took photos—she has the better phone and therefore the better camera—and she seems to be taking her time sending them to me.)”

“Had an amazing time at Hawksmoor Manchester. The team’s hospitality was spot-on — friendly, genuine, and made us feel really well looked after. Started the evening with a few cocktails at the bar, which were fantastic. The steak was the real highlight — perfectly cooked medium rare, juicy, and full of flavour. Honestly one of the best I’ve had in a long while, and I’ve been to quite a few steakhouses! Lovely ambience too — perfect for a relaxed date night.”

“Whilst searching for key pieces for our new flat, we knew we wanted quality and style. Bo Concept were our first point of call being so local to us (just round the corner). From initial meetings with both David & Alan we knew we’d come to the right place. From helping to answer our questions, to choosing key pieces and delivery, the service was flawless!! We’ve shopped with Bo Concept on more than one occasion now and are never disappointed- our Bulldog Maggie also approves of what is now one her own outside seats (she can vouch for the comfort!). “First time visiting and the experience was outstanding from start to finish. The service was excellent ,friendly, attentive, and efficient and the atmosphere was welcoming and well-set. The food was exceptional, with clear attention to quality and flavour. The burgers in particular were outstanding and easily among the best I’ve had in Manchester. “This place deserves 5 stars. Firstly upon entering the place was greeted by such a lovely and happy Chinese lady. They really do treat you like you are a valued customer. However regardless of this the food. Out of the hundreds of Chinese takeaways I've tried around the uk the food is the BEST. For my order I was told there would be a 15 minute wait. Yes they really did cook everything fresh. Even when I entered the building the lady was making something from scratch. When I got home the food was unbelievable. Sweet and sour chicken, the chicken batter still crispy it was so fresh. And it literally melted in my mouth. The ribs, crispy and extremely meaty, full of meat! The homemade spring rolls were the nicest I've ever tried. Unreal. And everything else we ate was just so fresh and full of flavour Another amazing thing, I didn't get that extreme thirst which you usually get from Chinese takeaways - most likely since the food is homemade and not from packets or jarred sauces. And lastly, pricing. I mean the prices are like they were years ago. Usually a £45 order cost us £29 today I honestly wish that this place gets the recognition it deserves because it really is the best in every possible aspect. Thank you so much pearl garden. “We always choose to eat at Rosa before the theatre as the food always comes out so quickly and is fresh tasting and delicious! The service from the team is always so friendly and professional. Loved hearing about all the new menu items today from Vincent! He always goes above and beyond to ensure all guests have a lovely evening!”

“Great spot for always having at least one gluten free beer on tap, usually a couple. I'm a big fan of when they've got locals like Brightside. Generally a good atmosphere whenever I come. Sometimes a lot busier than others, probably event related as it's very close to a number of live venues. That said, I can often find a seat in the second, quieter room pictured below. I would appreciate GF food options, but I understand this is exceptionally difficult considering they do pizzas. The music is almost never particularly loud, which means you can always converse. The only setback would be that some of the beers can be pricey, but this is absolutely to be expected given they are quality craft beers rather than mass products, and I say this is one of the few spots where it's worth it”

“Cocktails were 10/10!! It’s hard to make a delicious Pornstar Martini but they so good we went back for seconds!! Lovely atmosphere and our server V was very friendly and made the best cocktails! Cant wait to go back! So good to have a local fab cocktail bar!!”

“A relaxed yet elevated dining experience, the team here are definitely focused on delivering not only a fine dining tasting platter but also engaging the customer in the journey of the food and wine. It was such a relaxed experience even though you are literally in the kitchen and watching how they prepare and deliver your food. The food may seem small but the flavour certainly packs a punch and if you really want yo elevate your experience then get the wine pairing and enjoy the delicate and robust flavours that it brings to the dining.”

Prices were very reasonable considering the quality, and the whole experience felt like true value for money. “This is an absolute treat! Instead of being in France due to industrial action, we sought to bring France to us and so glad we did. The food was high quality and in comfortable surroundings. Steak tartare as good as I have ever had (minus the egg yolk, because this in Britain!). A touch on the pricey side, but in this particular case, you do get what you pay for. Very good”

“Manchester Road Chippy is an absolute gem! The food is always delicious and perfectly cooked, but what really makes the experience stand out are Lydia and Phoebe. They are fantastic at their jobs—friendly, efficient, and always with a smile that brightens your visit. Their dedication and great service truly deserve recognition, and honestly, they should both get a raise for the amazing work they do. If you're in the area, this chippy is a must-visit!”

“I have been here from the start. The taste is fabulous. I can vouch for it having eaten in so many so called Kerala restaurants. The only thing missing this time is the squid Masala. I am told that it's on the menu in their Whitefield Sindhoor restaurant. Tandoori chicken was not filled with colour like elsewhere. Definitely recommended.”

“The experience was excellent. The room was a bit smaller but all the amenities and services were there for a much comfortable stay. As we were coming from Hyatt House to Hyatt regency they gave us an early Check in, which was very kind of them. The restaurant staffs were extremely kind and helpful. A big shout out to Andrea from the restaurant, she was very helpful with the menu suggestions, as well as she helped us to find out nearest places to visit, she also gave a Drawing book and colours to our daughter so that she can play with that. Over all a very good experience and thank you to the Whole team.”

“This was our first time staying at the Edwardian Manchester, and we were so impressed from start to finish. The staff were welcoming and professional, making us feel right at home the moment we arrived. The hotel itself is stunning beautifully designed, spotless, and with a lovely relaxed atmosphere. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a perfect stay. Breakfast was excellent too, with plenty of choice and great quality. The location couldn’t be better for exploring the city, and we really appreciated the little touches that made our stay feel special. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and are already looking forward to coming back!”

“Stayed here for a night and had a really lovely experience. The hotel is beautifully designed, the room was stylish and comfortable, and the location is ideal, right in the city but surprisingly quiet, even with the trams nearby. The staff were friendly, the bar downstairs was great for a drink, and breakfast in the morning was solid. The only small hiccup was that I'd requested a sewing kit, and it didn’t get brought up as promised, so I had to go down to reception to get it myself, which made me a bit late. I understand things get busy, though. Aside from that, everything else was great. I’ve stayed at a few Hotel Indigos and this one definitely held up, I’d be happy to stay again.”

“Great food, polite staff, always able to find you a spot.....fresh produce....adds up to an excellent dining experience! Revisited in April 2022, the updated menu just keeps on getting better, plenty of plant based options if you have non-meat eaters in your party. Staff, as ever, are helpful polite and genuinely nice people. Looking forward to my next visit.”
