“Perfect price, amazing hosts, new comfy bedding, shampoo, soap, tea, coffee, fridge.”
“Having stayed in many hotels in Manchester, including the supposed “best” ones, I can confidently say my stay here was leagues above any of them. I’d go as far as to say this was the best hotel stay of my life. From the friendly greeting at reception at check-in, to the immaculate suite, this stay provided everything I could have wanted. I can’t wait to stay there again.”
“They have great service and good treatment. I thank everyone who helped me. Thank you”
“Great place to stay near Manchester airport. The host was really lovely as she accommodated me to check in early. The room was lovely and comfortable with extra towels and telly. Will definitely be back here again for my next trip.”
“Stopped by as a biker and had free buffet if buying drinks. Old and quaint building.”
“Booked for a hen doo through mojito events for 17 ladies. Given access details well before check in time which was good. All rooms had towels and clean bedding. Lovely rooms and bathrooms. Kitchen area was a bit on the small side but we made do. The roof terrace was lovely, did have a hot tub but unfortunately no chlorine tablets and no chlorine dispenser which wasn't good but was a good hot tub and enjoyed by us. The place was in walking distance to a lot of the city centre. Would def recommend.”
“Lovely stay for two nights. Room was very comfortable and beautifully presented. The breakfast was also excellent. Perfect for myself especially staying on my own, with parking available and close to all amenities. Staff were most welcoming and very friendly. Thank you.”
“Very clean ,warm and comfortable accommodation, I can not think of going anywhere else while working in Stockport. Thank you Overnight Stays for your hospitality will certainly come back and I highly recommend you.”
“My husband and I have just spent 7 lovely nights here. It was easy to book with Matthews help and to check in with Colins help. The building and grounds are spotless with ongoing touches to the interior and exterior eg planting by gardeners etc and recent paint job. The bed, bedclothes , towels, shower, loo, even loo rolls n washing up liquid, tv, microwave n kettle, bedside light etc were all pretty good and most importantly the fire doors and signage made us feel safe.”
“I can't speak to the location, as I ended up here accidentally because I was lost. The rooms are little rough around the edges, as all budget inns, motels, etc will be. That's just the way budget spots are. It's like they were created strictly for the purpose of being a place you pick last minute when you're exhausted. Everything was clean, the bedding was stain free, the mattress firm, towels blindingly white and the carpet had clearly been cleaned recently. The service was absolutely excellent. I was kind of a fried mess when I came in and the clerk on the evening of the 17th was very sweet and kind. In fact, I was so pleased with the service that I chose to stay a second night and just take a day to relax. The morning staff was also warm and kind. Honestly? I would say it's a good budget option for me. I am pleased with the service and everything.”
“Polite and friendly reception staff. Clean room. Very pleasant sleep after a busy day.”
“Beautifully done beautiful decor, fully air conditioned felt like at home, loads of extras, extremely clean, very well priced. Beyond expectations. I would definitely definitely stay there again”
“A gem in the travelodge hotels. Super friendly staff, quiet location. The only thing to let it down was lack of disabled parking bays. 2 had cars in with no blue badge but nobody polices it .”
“And amazing little gem easily accessible just off the Chester Road (A556 M6 J19). Alot better option than the services down the motorway. Having had a recent management, a redecoration of the bar, rooms and conservatory have turned what was.a run down boozer into a destination pub with great food a true northern welcome.”
“Fantastic hotel! Only about a 10 minute walk from Piccadilly station, and the city centre. The rooms are small, but perfect for anyone on a budget. Lots of storage. Shower was incredible, as were the beds. Very comfortable! Staff were all lovely, and the reception has a pretty cool layout. Will definitely re-book here if we ever end up in Manchester again! :)”
“Visited one evening with a friend and loved it. Polite and friendly staff. They do not offer Village employee discount but the prices are decent enough without a discount. Fully recommend.”
“I visited with my teenage daughter, for afternoon tea. The food was great. The premises were lovely. Colin and Jessica excelled in looking after the two of us. My daughter would like us to both visit again, for a treat”
“I had a work conference at this place. Beautiful building and very open grounds. Room was nice and modern but I heard they have some older looking ones too. Staff were helpful, friendly and made sure we enjoyed our stay. A bit pricey but I'd probably go again.”
“I stayed at a Travelodge many years ago and it was pretty basic, I remember asking for an extra pillow and the staff disappeared and was never seen again, fast forward to Bolton's Travelodge and it was a totally different experience, the staff where helpful and welcoming, the room was basic but well proportioned and very clean, the bed was comfy. There was a bar and eating area with food on offer. My only niggle was the room was very hot and there is no A/C so had the have the window open, unfortunately it's quite close to a main road and it was like trying to sleep next to a race track, every person within a 20 mile radius that had a sports exhaust and a turbo was racing about till 4 am.”
“The staff and clients are so friendly”
“The owner, Abdul, is a wonderfully generous and righteous man. The hotel is clean, quiet, and safe. This bed and breakfast was a miracle for our family. God's spirit dwells in this hotel.”
“By far the best place I’ve stayed in. Spotless and not your big standard room, decor is nice and bright. We felt secure and wasn’t kept up by thin walls and night owls. Fantastic selection of drinks in the residents bar. Breakfast by Paul set me up for the day. Would recommend this place to anyone.”
“It was the best stay in my life ! Every thing was so neat and clean and perfect! The owner is so nice person ! I love to stay there , it is actually better then 5 stars hotel ! I would recommend it for everyone ♥️♥️♥️”
“I wanted to just leave a thank you for Hammad Shaheen (hotel manager) / anyone else others the who send my lost property back to me when I'd left it behind. This hotel isn't glitz and glam, its price represents what you're getting, we stayed on new years day, 5 people in the group paid on average £43pp, in Manchester you just can't find those prices. As long as we had a bed we were happy. On the other hand in our particular room it had a tv, kettle, iron, etc, it was more than well equipped for the price. I would say if you book this hotel you need to be happy with a 'rough around the edges' sort of hotel experience, don't be expecting what you get or hilton or of the big chains - I've stayed in some fancier places but most of the time I'm out the room, All said and done it got the job done for us, and if you're not spending £££ don't expect some 4 star hotel experience. Price represents what you get. On the other hand if the price is similar to more luxurious bookings and you want that, definitely choose other options.”
“If your thinking about staying then I recommend to book book book.. my only fault is that I had to share a bathroom with others, but also for saying it is a busy bar on canal street it was quiet. I had the best sleep ever.. I eas kindly welcomed and also the location is brilliant. Highly recommend and if I'm Inthe area again I'll be staying here”
“Didn't stayed for the night, just had dinner. Perfect for trying Italian food, I don't remember the last time I ate a real risotto. Delicious and cheap.”
“Lovely little hotel, the rooms are large and clean, much nicer than a generic premier Inn etc. The breakfast took a while to arrive as it was cooked for me rather than a buffet, excellent sausages. The only small complaint is that the room was very warm even with the window wide open all night”
