“Can’t fault our visit. I normally order for delivery as it’s easier with our baby. Was a pleasant meal and the man on shift was great with our daughter, she was being quite loud and the lovely man came over with things to keep her entertained and it helped massively. Can’t thank him enough, it’s stressful going for a meal with a little one but this man made it that bit easier when he didn’t have to. Thank you! Rasta pasta is unreal”

“The food here was absolutely delicious and well presented. The early bird menu is great value for money and has a good selection of dishes on it. It was just less than £22 for 3 courses which is excellent. I had the bruschetta, sea bass and crembrule, each dish was very tasty. The decor was nice and the staff were friendly. Great experience.”

“My new local coffee shop, and I couldn't be happier to have such tasty beverages on my doorstop :) Sandwiches, cold drinks and pastries are available too, but it's their teas, coffees and hot chocolates (with a vast array of flavour options) which give them the reputation that they deserve.”

“Went to watch Cinderella over the Christmas period. The cast were brilliant and the script very well written. As others have mentioned, the ugly sisters were the stars of the show with lots of interaction with the audience. Overall, very good value for money on the initial purchasing of tickets and what the play delivered. I wasn't sure on the parking arrangements and it appears limited where you can park but there were some spaces behind and around the row of shops. We caught the bus to the local precinct and walked the 10 minutes so that is a viable option. The venue itself has food and drink on sale that is very reasonably priced and you can pay both with cash and card. It is a small venue that until recently I did not know even existed. It's intimate and seating, while seen better days, was adequate and even after the near 3 hours being there, was not feeling uncomfortable. Overall, an enjoyable way to spend an afternoon with family”

“We went to little buddy's for there toddlers only Halloween party with our one year old. There is two different large soft play areas that are really good with multiple layers and a big slide all of which seems well maintained. one for younger children (under 4) and one for older children aswell as a sensory area and small ball pit. The staff are friendly and attentive and seem to enjoy there jobs. There is a café catering for both adults and children with nice food as well as having really good coffee and a range of soft drinks everything seems to be kept to a good standard of cleanliness. They also do classes for children such as messy play which my girlfriend attends with my daughter who thourghly enjoys it. Overall I would recommend a visit with your little ones.”

“My girls had a great time! Easy bookings, parking was zero problem and seen to very quickly. The scenery is incredible and even though there's a little café at Pony Patch you can always go to the garden centre next door. Staff are very friendly, all ponies are looked after very well. Outside jungle gym available, indoor bouncy castle and indoor sand pit. Kids can pottery painting and the pony rides are great enough to put a smile on your kids faces. Wheelchair accessible and toilets are in the area.”

“Our families have used The Hinton Guest House a few times for their stays when visiting us in the area, and it has always been a fantastic choice. Most recently, my parents stayed for 7 nights in December 2024, and once again, the experience was excellent. Ann has consistently been extremely helpful and responsive, making the booking process straightforward and stress-free. Her attention to detail and warm hospitality truly set this guest house apart. The guest house is in a central position in Mobberley village, making it incredibly convenient. It’s just a couple of minutes’ walk to the Coop mini market, the local pharmacy, and a bus station with routes to Knutsford, Wilmslow, Macclesfield, and Altrincham. Additionally, it’s approximately a 10-minute walk to the local pubs, perfect for a relaxed evening out. The rooms and premises are always spotless, ensuring a comfortable and pleasant stay. The breakfast service is a highlight—the food is cooked to perfection, and the service is attentive and friendly. We’re so fortunate to have such a reliable and high-quality accommodation nearby. “Always fun! Staff are always amazing. Young people got to canoe, paddle board and donut! They absolutely loved it!”

“Childhood walking area, nice field at the start where dogs can run around. Small stream that dogs can get a drink or play in. You can walk further into the wooded area and up to a disused rail line and reservoir, leading further onto the moors. Dogs and people are able to get down to the water.”

“We had a lovely time at the Lakeside Adventure Park in Heaton Park yesterday. The children enjoyed playing for an extended period, and Heaton Park itself is truly beautiful.”

“It's a nice section of the River Bollin, shallow in areas that means you can paddle and the dog can get in and have a drink.”

“Happy Valley is a lovely area just outside Bramall Park but following the same river (The Ladybrook though it does change its name a few times). Enter from Valley Road or Headlands Road and quite a few other places. Roadside parking unless you enter from the lay-by on Jacksons Lane. The Valley itself is a peaceful walk through ancient woodland and fields. Unspoilt but the path is partially paved so wheelchair friendly from Valley Road and upon reaching the bridge you cross it for further paved surface. Or don't cross the bridge and walk up the other side of the river which has plenty of benches but can get a bit boggy after sustained rain. This is my dogs favourite place and I'd guess many other dogs favourite places as they get so excited jumping into the river. All off lead walking btw. If you're not a dog walker it still holds the same beauty with plenty of room for everyone.”

“First time here and certainly won’t be the last, minced chicken with lettuce wraps and salt & pepper prawn were the most savoury light delectable starters with duck, rice and the star of the show, steamed whole sea bass for main. My oh my best sea bass I have ever eaten, moist, fell off the bone, intensely savoury liquor, no extra thickeners. Just wow. And Sunny. Sunny sunny sunny. You were the highlight of the evening. Please visit this place you won’t regret it, we will definately be back, same again please ❤️”

“A charming little restaurant with beautiful, wholesome, Polish food. The service was excellent too, the team were super friendly and very keen to chat! The food arrived promptly and everything was clearly freshly made and tasted delicious. We had starters and mains washed down with honey beer (yum!) and finished off with homemade Polish cakes. The portions were generous too. I would definitely go back, we had a great experience.”

“A lovely cafe with welcoming staff members. They are in the perfect spot for a bite to eat at the end of your walk. They accept cards as well as cash and the prices are reasonable. A Kelly's ice cream on a nice cone was £3. There are toilets too. Parking can be difficult on weekends but we've never struggled in the week”
