“My family and I stayed at Pillo Rooms in Chapel Street, Manchester. We had a wonderful stay, the property was clean and comfortable. The internet connection was fast and the host was very friendly, welcoming and responsive. The location of the property is ideal, closely located to shops, a cafe and a gym are both situated opposite the property. Access to public transport was very good. There is a supermarket within a 5 mins walk from the property on the same street and a larger supermarket 15 mins away. Overall we had a great time!”

“We got married at Rylands Farmhouse in May and we couldn’t recommend it enough. From our first viewing of the venue to the morning after our wedding the service provided was second to none. The staff went above and beyond for us at every opportunity and nothing was too much to ask. Our wedding guests were blown away with the venue and the staff. The rooms were beautiful and clean and the breakfast the next day was delicious. Luis was with us from the beginning and throughout our whole wedding day and he was absolutely amazing! He made sure that everything was perfect for us and we can’t thank him enough! We can’t wait to revisit for every anniversary in future! Thank you Rylands x”

“Living here has been a very nice experience. The team in the building is always friendly and helpful — Haj and Tyler in particular have been great and always willing to assist. It’s clear that the staff genuinely listen to any issues we bring up and try to address them, which makes a big difference. The community events are a lovely way to meet people and feel more connected. One of the things I really enjoy is how much my dog loves it here — and the fact that everyone here seems to love her too is heartwarming. Overall, it’s a great place to live, though it would have been even better if the price was just a little more affordable.”

“Beautiful museum with stunning architecture. The aquarium hiding in the basement is fab. Very educational content. Egyptian room is amazing and natural history is awesome too. There are little hands on bits and dress up woven into the museum's journey for little ones.”

“Great venue for any celebration or even a nice pint on a sunny day. Whole place was spotlessly clean each time I've visited. Staff couldn't do enough for us on the night of the event and were so nice to everyone. I will definitely hire again, the setting is lovely as it is right next to the canal running through Marple. Plenty of parking space too”

The staff were attentive, friendly, and genuinely cared about making our night special. They even surprised us with a gorgeous “Happy Anniversary” dessert, which was such a thoughtful touch. “If there was an option for 6 stars, this pub would get it. Came here after a walk in the area and walked in to friendly staff and a warm fire. It was a weekday so not so busy we got a table straight away. You think it can't get better. It does. The pie was amazing, mash was amazing and gravy was amazing too. Such lovely food we had to get dessert and that was, as predicted, amazing. Can't wait to come back here again and try the other food on the menu, really exceptionally good pub to come.”

“I have not been to the March Hare in a while due to the last few visits being very disappointing . Todays vidit has definitely changed my opion. We were greeted by the assistant manager Gav, he was pleasant and accommodating. We had not booked but he managed to squeeze us in. The waitress Georgia was very pleasant and professional. The food was lovely and service was prompt. 2 empty plates. The refurbishment was in character and creates a family friendly atmosphere. The outdoor area has had a much needed upgrade and definitely a place I will visit on a sunny day. The toilet upgrade is definitely a vast improvement . Excellent selection of drinks including a vast variety of zero alcohol. I would highly recommend it .”

“We visited Aatma as part of the Beyond The Music festival. Google maps steered us to pretty much the right spot, but as others have said in their reviews, finding the exact stairwell entrance is slightly hard. However, if anything that only added to the experience and atmosphere. Upstairs in the venue, the acoustics were good and it’s a decent size for listeners. There’s some scattered seating around the edges including sofas, buy once acts were on everyone was on their feet anyway. The range of soft drinks in the upstairs bar was quite poor, but the atmosphere more than made up for it”

“Took my boy Bruce today for his first Groom, he had a bath massage and a good groom and clean. Nails cut too he was a good boy. Pictures were taken in a cute Santa hat. Great service highly recommend”

“I've been here twice, absolutely amazing food both times. The first time I got the Turkish eggs which were amazingly delicious with nice soft bread served alongside. The second time I got a lunch dish, the black garlic gnocchi with artichokes. It was absolutely delicious. I hadn't expected that much flavour from a vegetarian dish but it was mind-blowing from the first bite. Chef Emily and Chef Danny are geniuses in the kitchen, I've never had food so good before! Service was brilliant, my server Grace was so friendly and I didn't have to wait for a seat either time. The restaurant is quite busy because the food is so good, but if you do have to wait it's well worth it. I'll definitely be back for more, the food was worth every penny.”

Despite being so busy when I came in to collect, the staff members were so polite and helpful by suggesting a few dishes for my family to try. Top dishes: Crispy Aromatic Duck - perfectly cooked tender meat Wet Special Chow Mein - filled with meat and delicious sauce Singapore Vermicelli - tasty and flavourful dish, never had anything quite like it This will now be our go to Chinese, definitely recommend!”
