“Awesome little hotel above a pub in the heart of the Northern Quarter. Great distance to amazing food and bars and just a short walk to transport and the city centre. The rooms are immaculate; clean comfy beds and a nice hot shower. The music from the pub downstairs is pretty invasive but it stops around midnight. Really nice room in an awesome spot for a decent price, definitely recommend.”

“Ordered 05/11/2023 via Uber eats. Delivery came in good time. Good value. Popcorn chicken decent. Fillet burger ok. Drinks came nice cool. Chips ok, nice seasoning.”

“This was a last minute book for me and my partner for the parklife festival. After reading the reviews we were very nervous to stay here and expected a lot worse than what we have experienced. We stayed in room 19B and it was very clean and modern ( this was just a regular room and not the luxury rooms) the mattress was not the comfiest but we both got a good sleep. We did have a shared bathroom with 3 other rooms however the bathroom was also very modern and clean. There was a variety of mirrors in the room and felt very homely. Over all our stay we was very pleased with and believe the reviews on this hotel are not accurate.We only payed £65 for the room. The rooms are small and there is an abandoned nursing home facing the hotel but the hotel had high enough gates to feel safe as it can be worrying due to the area in Manchester that this is located in which does look very run down. Adding on, we chose to park the car on the street although they offer car parking on site in which is £10 per car but there was no damage to the car after leaving it there over night.”

“Don't understand how the reviews are so negative here. Just look at the just eat reviews for a more accurate opinion of a lot more reviewers. We ordered for the first time today on New Year's Day and were not disappointed. Food arrived hot and in good time. Everything tasted lovely! We ordered dishes we don't normally get as there's a wide variety on the menu and enjoyed everything. There wasn't one thing negative about it. Tried 2 of the noodle box dishes and would recommend. Delivery driver was very very friendly and so were staff over the phone. Will be changing this to our normal Chinese now!”

“Been through the bad reviews and never experienced any of the problems that have been said. (I’ve collected every time) food always cooked to perfection/hot and staff really friendly. It’s become my usual spot for a pizza, can’t see myself having to go anywhere else, decent prices on the food also.”

“The staff are fantastic at this hotel. I stayed with my dog and nothing was too much trouble. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. There was a bit of noise from some of the other rooms but nothing too bad. Mainly young people enjoying themselves so it quietened down after a minute or so.”

“Absolutely amazing food. We bought Pizza meal deal for 2. It comes with 2 pizza’s 10” along with two drinks and fries. For £11.99/- I guess this is the best price in town. Pizzas were amazing with really filled topping and lots of cheese. We paid £1/- extra for stuffed crust which was amazing. I would recommend this place to everyone.”

“Once Leo's fish bar but no longer the case I really like the kebab- the texture and taste. “Wow! wasn’t expecting this, Hartshead Inn on the verge of re-opening to the general public after a major refurbishment has elevated itself to become the best place in the area, in All aspects. Absolutely amazing, had an incredible evening! The interior is stunning, the food is amazing and what makes this even better, is how special the fabulous staff make you feel the moment you walk through the door. To have a restaurant pub of this quality has been long overdue in Saddleworth and the surrounding area. Big thanks to the Beth, Paige, Sam & Kaya for making the evening so memorable and to all the other members of staff working away in the background, was great to meet Megan and Craig from the corporate perspective too. So looking forward to returning very soon and on a regular basis.”
