“Went for a family 50th birthday, pre booked online which was very easy to do. Tables ready as we arrived, staff attentive, very friendly and looked after us all really well. Food is lovely, catered for all ages and requirements. Staff even presented me with a birthday card and a beautiful dessert trio . Highly recommend.”

All of the food was stunning, mahou on draft and the service was exceptional. Very polite, attentive and they went the extra mile to do everything they could do to accommodate my mum in a wheelchair! “I've never left a review for anything before but I was so blown away by this experience, I felt I should leave one. The food was incredible, I had the king prawns, tenderstem broccoli and spinach but would recommend all dishes. The drinks were delicious and the service was flawless. “My family visited to celebrate both my mother’s and daughter’s birthdays yesterday. We chose the early evening menu and the food was delicious and reasonably priced. What really stood out to us was the fantastic service from our waiter Thomas. He was patient, accommodating and attentive. His colleague Kelsey was also friendly and warm. I don’t usually write reviews but the staff here are fantastic. Small touches like bringing colouring pencils for my daughter and sincere interactions with us made the place feel very welcoming. The food itself was excellent but the staff set a standard that many other restaurants could learn from. We will definitely return!”

“A fabulous place for the kids and plenty of space for adults to sit and watch. There is an extra large play area and a great cafe. You get a half price voucher when you register online to become a member and every visit after that you get a £1 discount. Allowed a maximum of three hours stay or two hours at busy times so plenty of fun times with the kids. Would highly recommend this place, it’s clean and friendly with plenty to do and an excellent place for birthday parties tailored to suit your individual needs and numbers”

“Last minute booking to stay the night. I wanted good pub food, comfortable bedroom and great service whilst being able to watch the football. This is what I got. Jordan behind the bar offered great service, Emma and Beth served me my food and Keira checked me into the hotel and constantly was checking i was happy and asking if she could help. Excellent service throughout. Greene King have a great team here.”

“Delicious, fresh food! Popped in for lunch with a friend and we were both absolutely made up. The katsu, sushi and ramen were beautiful. We finished with some mochi ice cream for dessert, which was super tasty and nicely presented. The service was quick and friendly too. The new management has definitely made a difference, it’s a big improvement to what the food was like there previously. I’d be stopping by again for sure!”

We were greeted by jess she was very nice and friendly and showed us our seats and after a few moments taken our order just before our food came out she told us it won't be a few minutes. However, as Stacked are now cooking here, we gave it a go. The bar staff were lovely and drinks were a lot cheaper than I've paid at other places which was a bonus. The guy on the bar also came over to make sure we understood the ordering process for Stacked which was good of him. Stacked was, as always, delicious and I'll review them separately. The only thing I will say, is that if you think Stacked is good when it's delivered, get down to the Prince of Orange and try it fresh!”

“We stayed one night at The Park Royal, on a spa package, as part of our Q Hotels membership. We were checked in by Mary, who was super helpful and very friendly. Our room, 165 was spotlessly clean, a good size and had everything you’d need for a comfortable stay. We’d pre booked a spa treatment each and the team were again, really friendly and helpful. Dinner was booked for 7:30 and taken in the main hotel restaurant. The setting was great and the team were as expected, attentive and friendly. Prices are slightly higher than you’d expect but the meals were very good. Checkout was seamless and our hotel bill was spot on. Thank you.”
