“Absolutely love it here. Amazing seats, most days have a deal that make tickets super cheap, lovely service. Since moving back to Daventry I've become a regular. Only critiques are that the food is pricey (but it's still better priced than competitior cinemas) and that the film selection can be limited (but that's natural considering the size). Overall it's an awesome cinema and I can only recommend it if you're in the area.”

“This is the club to be at for any one in the lifestyle. The 1st time we walked in we felt welcomed. This is not one of of those clicky clubs its a home from home. Never once felt judged at all. The place to be who you are. Matt and nat who run jaydees are the definition of wonderful. Rich and Helen are just beautiful people. “Great little theatre, staging is welll done and each seat has a decent view of the performance no matter where you sit, the amenities could do with an update, toilets are a little sad looking and the water pressure for the taps stops when anyone flushes, the refreshment selection could also do with a few more options. The staff are outstanding however, everyone is friendly and chatty, I think most are volunteers, which is always nice to see, from the lads helping parking to the people ushering to seats, not a bad word to be said. Have visited a few times and never a bad experience, tickets are well priced and everyone clearly has a love for the performance on and off the stage”

“We enjoyed a wonderful 6 course winter tasting menu. Each course was delicious and presented beautifully. In particular, the scallop, venison and rhubarb croissant dessert courses stood out. The latter was unlike anything I have had before and was both spectacular and surprising! In addition to the food, Paris House is very uniquely situated in a deer park, which adds to the ambience. It was wonderful to come up the entrance drive and see the deer in the park. I would highly recommend the restaurant, it's perfect for a special occasion!”

“It is a very nice building. Good bedroom, ver clean. We had a large external bathroom. There is a well equipped kitchen and a nice sitting area. We had a good brunch in the community café, which is located in the same building. Enough private parking spaces are available, although some were sometimes occupied by visitors of community café. A good pub is in walking distance, and many walking tracks are close by. The centre of Wolverton is a 15-minute walk. We had a dog friendly room. One of the three bedrooms is dog friendly.”

“Me and my partner went into Zara on a spur of the moment for food and as soon as we entered we were greeted by a really pleasant gentleman, and this continued throughout. We were given Turkish bread and dips after we ordered, then the food came and it was truly amazing! I would also like to say how great Turkish tea is... the taste is incredible! Thank you to the staff at Zara for a brilliant dinner and dining experience. Highly recommend!”

The gentlemen I spoke to was friendly and inviting, our dog also was allowed in. The food looked lovely and tasted great! the gin cocktail I had was great. The local atmosphere was great. We were a table of four and everything was spot on — the food was delicious, especially the steaks, cooked perfectly and full of flavour. “A beautiful tea room with a vintage feel. The owners are attentive without being intrusive and the food is beautiful. The afternoon tea does need to be pre-booked as it is all made fresh; the scones were still warm from the oven! Highly recommended and we will definitely be returning.”

“Great little club in Langford. Went over for the Charity Skittles night (fundraiser for Sue Ryder) had a great evening. Club has two rooms and ample space for lots of people. There is a pool room and big screen TV for those that need the footie. There is an outside seating area for the warmer weather. Had a great evening on my first visit and enjoyed the music. They have a few bands in from time to time, check their website for details. Would go back.”

“This is a strange and unusual venue. But as you would expect the club itself is entertaining and welcoming. Once the music and entertainment starts though you find yourself enjoying it. The outside area is a bit cramped, but navigable. The staff are helpful and good to chat with. Good.”

Despite not knowing about its existence until a friend's recommendation, I'm so glad I discovered it. The entire menu is vegan-friendly, catering perfectly to our party's dietary preferences. The service was exceptional; the lady serving us was incredibly polite and friendly, making our first visit feel warm and welcoming. We appreciated how accommodating they were to our requests, happily making changes to our orders without any fuss. Even when they ran out of nuggets, they went above and beyond by deducting it from the bill, a gesture that truly impressed us. The food arrived promptly and exceeded our expectations in taste and presentation. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, adding to the overall wonderful experience. “We went to the Rose and Crown at Hartwell this past Friday... we've been meaning to visit here for a while. So glad we did and sorry we have not been sooner! The food, service and atmosphere was brilliant. They have a great team who are really friendly, helpful and customer focused. The menu was varied and caters for all tastes. I chose the brie and mushroom crostini as a starter - it was superb! The mains were great - I opted for fish and chips and it didn't disappoint. My wife had one of the specials... the honey chilli salmon and rice with pak choi. Again, delicious! We finished off with the amazing cheese platter - it had us beat! A really generous sharer with enough for a to-go box! All round, really excellent value for a delicious meal out. This little gem is just 2 miles from Hanslope. Give it a go and support our local businesses 100% recommended!”

“Visited for the first time this Sunday afternoon after having spied the Lilacs whilst out for a walk a couple of weeks previously. What a lovely place, a bit TARDIS like, it's bigger on the inside than it looks this is a really nice pub, with a big open airy restaurant and multiple outside spaces. The Sunday menu is good, not a wide selection, but everything on the menu appears to be well balanced and from our experience is done well. We had starters, carvery and dessert and all were lovely. The carvery was one of the best I've had, veg wasn't overcooked or dried out from being sat on the hot plate too long, the meat was juicy, tender and cooked nicely and the cauliflower cheese I could have eaten by the gallon. A delightful selection of desserts were on display in the cabinet, and the chocolate and cheesy mousse dessert I selected was beautiful, a rich deep flavour whilst still being light enough after a big meal. Topped it all off with a latte with Bailey's in and I was a happy man. The staff were all really friendly, and very attentive and helpful, service was quick and came with smiles and personality. We're already looking at when we can return to try the regular evening menu and another of the cakes from the cabinet.”
