“So so pleased with absolutely everything about this place! Me and my partner spontaneously decided at 10:20 that we wanted to go for an Indian somewhere, we rang and asked if we could still be seated in the restaurant as it was so late and they said they were happy for us to come in. We arrived with beautiful service greeted at the door shown to our table, seen to in perfect timing, drinks and poppadoms were delivered quickly. The food was absolutely superb everything was delicious and fresh, we took everything we couldn’t finish home with us and we can’t wait to go back!”

“We had an incredible experience at The Three Tuns. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly warm and hospitable—Alex and his team were absolutely first-class. The food was phenomenal; the roast dinner was packed with flavour, featuring perfectly cooked meats, seasonal vegetables, and generous portions that came out piping hot. “If you’re a sports fan then this is a great pub - loads of screens throughout along with a dart board and pool table too. Plenty of space should you be in a group and quiet areas throughout as well. Outside there’s a good garden, split into two areas , which is tidy and well kept. Friendly bar staff and a good vibe throughout - a really nice pub.”

“Since The Mulberry Bush changed ownership, it has undergone an incredible transformation! You can immediately feel that the new management has put their heart and soul into the place. The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and full of life – perfect for an evening out with friends or a quiet drink. The staff are always smiling, helpful, and truly care about making guests feel comfortable. The pub is clean, well-kept, and the refreshed decor has managed to preserve the traditional, cozy character. The drinks selection is great (the Guinness, in particular, is excellent), and there are plenty of activities like pool, darts, and a big screen for watching sports. The beer garden is another big plus, especially on warmer days. They also host live music nights and karaoke, creating an amazing vibe and bringing people together from across the area. You can really see and feel that The Mulberry Bush has become the heart of the local community. I’m so glad this place ended up in good hands – the changes have made a huge difference for the better. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great pub with a fantastic atmosphere and positive energy!”

“A fantastic pre-school, we have had 2 children attend the Keep and they both enjoyed their time and developed key skills and knowledge that serves them well to this day. The staff are all well trained and comitted, providing great feedback on the children in their care. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.”

“I had a Golf ladies away weekend Sunday to Monday in September. We had a great time the staff were very friendly and helpful. The food we had in the evening was very good too. We had two rounds of golf which we all enjoyed too. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Thankyou”

“I left Riseley 50 years ago and it was lovely to be back, a warm welcome at The Fox and Hounds, great atmosphere, staff and a fantastic choice of vegan food. They even gave me an early birthday chocolate brownie. Hopefully not 50 years until next time.”

“What a great little place! We stayed for a night whilst visiting Santa Pod. On arrival, Bobby came to meet us, showed us where we were staying, and gave us our keys. There were a couple of rooms accessed from the side of the establishment via a locked door, which you were provided a key for along with your room key. Once inside, there was a communal area with iron and board, Bobby's contact details should we need them and the WiFi info. From here, there was access to a shared kitchen we could make use of, which was very clean. It had all the amenities you could want. Then there were also the entrances to the rooms. Our room was brilliant, with what looked like a queen size bed. Which was amazing! It was decorated very tastefully and impeccably tidy throughout. The ensuite was exceedingly clean. We had our evening meal at the Spice Tree, Indian Restaurant, which shared the premises. The food was so delicious, and the staff were lovely and friendly. All in all, a great stay which I wouldn't hesitate to book again. Thanks Bobby!”

“It’s a lovely hotel with spacious rooms, and the bar staff were very friendly. We stayed there on a Thursday night, and it was pleasantly quiet. The location is convenient—just a 10-minute walk from the station—so there's no need to worry about traffic. It’s definitely a great place to stay at a reasonable price. In fact, while Premier Inn was charging nearly double, this hotel offered much better quality. I would certainly choose to stay here again if I visit Bedford in the future.”

“This is a lovely restaurant literally on the river Thames. The food was excellent and the service impeccable. There is lots of parking but the hotel next door had taken it all for a function it seems. Wide vegan and gluten free options. Slightly more expensive than average but worth it .”

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This was our 6th visit to The Knife & Cleaver, and I thought it was about time I left a proper review. My partner and I always come here for a little getaway, and every time we’re reminded why we keep coming back. The staff are consistently friendly and welcoming, which makes such a difference. The room we stayed in was lovely, comfortable, and just what we needed for a relaxing break. For dinner, I had a three-course meal cooked by Gary, and the fish and chips were absolutely spot on. Gary even came out to say hello, which was such a nice personal touch. Manager Sue also made us feel very welcome, adding to the warm atmosphere. After our meal, we headed to the bar where Acer mixed up some cracking cocktails for my partner. Between the great drinks, the friendly service, and the easy banter at the bar, it really felt like being among friends. What stands out most is how well the whole team works together—it’s rare to see a place where everyone gels so naturally, and it makes the experience that much better. We’ll definitely be back again in the future. If you’re planning a spa day at Woburn, I’d highly recommend finishing it off with a stay here. “Had a fantastic weekend at The Bell for our annual family meet up. The staff were fantastic and worked so hard to ensure our party of 12 were looked after in the bar, at dinner and breakfast. A great place to stay and eat in the a lovely Bedfordshire village.”

“I honestly don't know what people are moaning about. We pulled up on the boat. Free of charge And were greeted with great hospitality. We had the best cider and food was delicious the fish and chips was the best ever fish was nice and thick. Chips were awesome cooked perfectly home made tarter sauce hot. Butter to melt over extra crusty bread. My cheese and chicken leak pie was hand made cooked in an oven skillet pan , beautiful and ate outside before falling asleep on the boat woke up had cappachino and cooked breakfast. Claiton was lovely my cappachino was taken to a sunny table in the garden. Best experience ever.”
