“Out for lunch with a friend. Free parking for 3 hours, right outside (excellent as pouring with rain). Special lunch offer at £5 was great value. All servers were polite and friendly. Enjoyed our time.”

“We have been twice again recently with different people and had some great food (kids eat free in the summer holidays which is a massive bonus!). Thank you to the wonderful lady behind the bar who made the children some extra special water and was so helpful! Good carvery and drink selection with a lovely big outside area!”

“Had a fantastic dining experience at The Caldecotte this evening, we had a friendly greeting and a great recommendation for food, the mixed grill, which you can see pictured. Our waiter was exemplary, always serving with a smile, chatter and banter. Really made us feel welcomed like we'd been regulars for years at this pub. The food was delicious, the mixed grill was superb with everything cooked beautifully. Lots of flavour and variety in the dish. Dessert was a delight, I loved the pancakes, which were served with a warm salted caramel sauce, chocolate honeycomb crumbs and ice cream. Absolutely fantastic meal, atmosphere and staff and would happily come again. Thank you!”

“My husband and I got dinner at Lakeside and it was lovely! I chose the chicken hunter and my husband got the bacon and cheese burger. It took us only 40 minutes and we enjoyed the view of the lake full of swans. Really lovely place, do not forget to book in advanced!”

“Hidden gem! Accidentally found this place while walking around and it's one of my favourite places to grab a beer in St Neots. Staff are lovely and very knowledgeable regarding the beers they serve. The beers are perfect so they obviously pay a lot of attention to keeping it all clean. There's a nice area to sit inside or outside. On hot days the outside seating gets the shade. I will be coming back frequently”

“Me and my partner went into Zara on a spur of the moment for food and as soon as we entered we were greeted by a really pleasant gentleman, and this continued throughout. We were given Turkish bread and dips after we ordered, then the food came and it was truly amazing! I would also like to say how great Turkish tea is... the taste is incredible! Thank you to the staff at Zara for a brilliant dinner and dining experience. Highly recommend!”

“We had a lovely dinner last night at DNA Steak and Grill in Towcester. We were a table of four and everything was spot on — the food was delicious, especially the steaks, cooked perfectly and full of flavour. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, and the service made it even better. Huge thanks to Elena, Zuza, Ella and Alys ❤️ — all of them were amazing, so friendly and attentive the whole evening. “We hosted our daughter's naming day event here in August 2024 and had a brilliant experience from start to finish. Charlotte and the team were brilliant with communicating in the lead up to the event and made sure everything was set up perfectly for us on the day - not easy with so many babies and children attending! We had about 40 guests and the venue kindly provided high chairs as well and made space for a nappy change facility in the ladies loos. The buffet lunch was delicious and the team set up bespoke welcome mocktails for us. The table tennis and different seating areas were a big hit with attendees of all ages too! This place is an absolute gem - we had a great family celebration here and would highly recommend Club124 as a perfect venue for a special celebration!”

“It’s Decenttttttttt, Everyday i’m shuffling. In the Esquires i was greeping and shuffling. Guinness was up to standard and reasonably priced. The Stairs weren’t creeky and the upstairs room was alright. Mash on sound seriously cooked up the new sound. #LongLiveSarpaSalpa. This venue is not the same as it used to be, it is someone new. Bit Sweaty but that’s down to the crowd. But Eh, on the brightside, atleast i wasn’t forced to sit through a low girl concert.”

It helped massively that the bill was being picked up by my boss which was the reward for winning a sales competition at work. Everything about our evening was perfect, the quality of the service, the quality of the food and the atmosphere, it was quite simply superb. Probably the best dining night out we've ever had!
