βThis is a great place for a walk, and really great if you have kids that like to run around a lot and like wind turbines. Parking is reasonably priced, but not free. The visitor's centre is a beautiful building which has information, a shop, and a cafe inside. Dogs are welcome in the cafe. Outside of that is a playground area with swings, slides, and a good network of ropes as a climbing frame.β
βWe went on a homeschooling session which are weekday afternoons and had the whole place to ourselves. The kids had an absolute great time. The staff were nice and friendly too. We're not local but it was worth the trip.β
βMyself and my partner did the beginner snowboarding lesson with Luca as our instructor. Luca was an incredible instructor who catered to everyoneβs different progressions in the group throughout the time we were on the slope. He was very down to earth and friendly, encouraging us and supporting in a really good way. All the staff we encountered were really friendly. The set up at the centre was great, loved that there was more to do and shops to look in, around snozone too. Would definitely recommend and will come back.β
βExcellent for birthdays. We recently celebrated my sonβs football-themed birthday party, and it was absolutely fantastic thanks to Luke! He was professional, enthusiastic, and so attentive to every detail. All the children had an amazing time, and every parent commented on how well-organised and fun it was and how attentive Luke was. Luke went above and beyond to make the day special β his energy, patience, and genuine care really stood out. Thank you, Luke, for making my sonβs birthday one to remember!β
βYork House is a great venue used for a huge variety of community activities and private hire. They have various rooms for hire-great for parties, celebrations etc and a main hall all as a small bar area and outside space. I attend York House weekly as they host the Community Larder. It's always warm and clean and has good toilet, accessible toilet and baby change facilities.β
βLovely hotel! DΓ©cor is really nice from the restaurant to the rooms. Staff are amazing and will do anything to support you having the best stay.β
βI got seen quickly at my physio appointment. The guy who looked after me me was kind considerate listened and caringβ
βGreat value to hire. Plenty of seating and tables. Nice clean toilets. Bar facilities Really inexpensive alcohol. Lovely friendly staff/serviceβ
βSuch hidden gem. The ticket and food price are very reasonable. There are activities for both my smaller kid (2 year old) and older kid (5 year old). Minimal supervisision is needed. It is certainly not the largest soft play but the nicest I have been to. I will always take my kids here when taking their mom on her shopping trip at Bicester village.β
βA few weeks ago I threw an impromptu hen do for my friend here. It was a Saturday so very busy but Sarah and the team did a brilliant job accommodating us. The food and drink was amazing, beautiful decor and the karaoke made it! Thank you so much guys - highly recommend. This place is a gem!β
βVery nice hall with a fantastic kitchenβ
βQuaint cafe in Cogenhoe that I didn't know was there. Excellent selection of cakes and all the hot and cold drinks you'd expect. Hot meals were available, too. Lovely staff served us with our selection of menu items. What a lovely find at the top of Cogenhoe hill!β
βLovely spacious hall. Perfect for hosting a Little City Milton Keynes party. Lots of parking and great kitchen facilities.β
βNice cosy centre, I'm sure it's a great place to watch the Euros & Olympics. Went there for a podiatrist appointment. Staff are friendly and helpful. There is also a selection of books to read at the bottom of the hallway, if you're waiting for an appointment etc.β
βI was booked to perform in the Village Hall for the Kings Coronation after party. It's a fantastic hall for almost any occasion with lots of amenities including a large patio area that leads into the park Socials: Sonik Wave Mobile Discoβ
βWonderful Community Centre for public meeting space with an enterprising Community Fridge saving local food from going to waste. Every estate should have one!β
βWent to try bowls for the first time. It was great fun, but very annoying. Your body won't do what your brain telling it!β
βVery flexible with layout options and size of rooms or one large hall, staff very friendly and helpful, plenty of free car parking. Also has large grass areas around it plus a fenced off kids play area. Brilliant as a wedding venue.β
βHuge hall, perfect for kids to let off all their steam in. The leaders are all lovely!β
βGreat venue to host a Little City Milton Keynes party! Spacious hall with a separate area for party food and a large kitchen. Good car park and a lovely playground next to the hall.β
βHad some lovely strolls in this park. Had a zoom therapy session here one timeβ
βThis is very well presented venue for the younger child, from baby to 10ish. I would estimate the average age of children when we attended to be about 6 or 7. The equipment seems to be well maintained and there is enough variety to keep an active child engaged for an hour and a half or two hours if with a friend or sibling. The admission price was very reasonable. The staff were notably polite and pleasant and the whole enterprise gave the impression of being well run. We didn't eat so can't comment on the food but the drinks were reasonably priced and the icecream is a real bargain. The exterior is pretty unpreposessing and would benefit from a makeover but don't let that put you off.β
βA great venue. We watched our granddaughters in a show put on by Katy North.β
βGreat venue, very warm and cozy, good parking, all the volunteers so friendly and welcoming, providing a super good Christmas Day Meal too..β
βWent to Gravity today with family and had a great time. Check in process was easy enough, Dani on front desk was great and Sophie in the cafe was very smiley. The marshals watching the arena were interacting with the kids and made it a lovely day, Everywhere was clean and tidy. We will be back again soon!β
βWe moved our little boy to Toad Hall after a nightmare experience with another nursery. Being at Toad Hall has shown us how nurseries should be run. The facilities are fantastic with a lovely outdoor area, including a beautiful garden growing fruit, vegetables and flowers. The rooms are really well set up with lots of activities and toys to engage the children. The staff are so caring, nurturing and engaged with the children, we really couldnβt ask for a better place to send our little boy- he loves going! Communication is brilliant, with regular updates on your childβs progress, changes to the nursery and youβre always made to feel welcome if you pop in to the office with a query. I would recommend Toad Hall to any parent looking for a nursery for their little oneβ
βAnother amazing time had The Sun Inn, Hardingstone 14 of us, which included 6 children attended The Sun on Saturday 13/12/25 for a festive gathering, with all of us opting for the festive menu As is always the case at this venue, we received a very warm welcome & shown to our table by Alice Once our party has all arrived, Alice notified the kitchen & within minutes, we has all been served hot, fresh & delicious meals with absolutely no complaints from anyone in our group Our Waitress's were incredibly efficient, ensuring that our tables were regularly cleared of plates & glasses & they checked in with us every so often to ensure we were happy. Furthemore, at no time did we ever feel pressured to vacate our table, which led to a thoroughly enjoyable & relaxed occasion Suffice to say, it is with confidence that I commend the team at the The Sun, Hardingstone, whom, from the initial booking (some 5 weeks ago) to the time that we left the venue, were nothing but outstanding. A huge cry also goes out to the following staff for making this occasion so special; Grace, Hollie & Chantelle for managing the original booking & for checking in with me on the odd occasion to make sure there were no changes & that everything was ok Sienna, Jess & Sheobe for looking after us on the day I also wish to thank the kitchen team, in particular Mustfa for serving up some incredibly amazing & delicious food for us all. The presentation of the food was superb & above all, we all thoroughly enjoyed it, including the children who all had Burgers! The kitchen team & Chefs are invaribly the unsung hero's of any hospitality establishment & Mustfa is clearly a credit to The Sun & the wider McManus team for preparing & serving up some incredible meals. So on behalf of our party, thank you Mustfa & please keep up the great work, it really is appreciated by me Finally, I also had the opportunity to meet with Gretta, the new General Manager who was incredibly welcoming & warm & someone who clearly brings a breadth of experience to the role, so I wish you well in your new role Gretta, as I sense that The Sun & your fantastic team there is most definitely in safe hands In the meantime, many thanks to you all & best wishes, Kevin H PS If I left any off the roll-call, please pass along my thanks to them too! :)β
