“I have visited here with different people over the last couple of weeks. The first time, my friend and I ordered the Super grain salad. It doesn't say anywhere in the ingredients there's anything hot or spicy in it, but neither of us could eat it! We asked if they could check with the chef and he said there's a coating on the grains that isn't mentioned. They apologized and changed our meals for another one with no fuss.”

“There's plenty to say about my experience, we came here for an afternoon tea event and stayed over night. The christmas afternoon tea was lovely, there was a live Singer with a stunning voice and she stayed singing the entire time. A varied selection of delicious and moist mini cakes, scones with jam and clotted cream and sandwiches. Along with practically never ending tea. The atmosphere was cozy and warm, the decoration In the tea room was aesthetic and service was brilliant. Staff was polite and quick for being so busy. Check in to the hotel was quick and simple, the hotel itself was also pleasant decorated. Beds comfy, shower pressure was amazing, warm lights, luxurious toiletries, the nescafe machine was a nice touch along with the classical radio. One small issue was a small patch of mold I'm the bathroom”

“My family and I went for dinner on Monday 22nd September. The staff on duty was superb. They were friendly, courteous and accommodating. The food ordered was excellent, presentation was great and all six dishes ordered were served at the same time. Our server -Emma - was excellent. She was thorough and paid tremendous attention to detail with minimum intrusion. She was such a delightful person and definitely a credit to the establishment.”

“We stayed at the Aviator in August and loved just about everything about it. We received a very nice welcome and all of the staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was very spacious, well appointed and comfortable. It was also quiet. The art deco fittings and decor thought the hotel are beautiful and very well preserved. Food was very good. The wine was very reasonably priced and the two locally brewed beers were dangerously moreish! Set beside a not too busy flying club the grass area outside of the hotel was an ideal spot for a pre dinner drink. This hotel is great value for money and well worth a visit.”

“There was only our party present, however, it is nicely decorated and you could imagine a buzz if others were present. The food was well presented and the Server ensured the 3 year old had activities to amuse her as well as food so she was not waiting for us to finish the 1st course. We chose meals we would not necessarily cook at home. 6 Oysters,slipped down well followed by a 10oz skirt steak for me with a red wine and marrow jus; ideal for dunking the chunky crispy chips. My son had the Octopus with Chorizo and risotto. A beautiful dish. The 3 year old had home made chicken gougeons with skin on Fries and beans followed by a raspberry ice cream topped with fresh and freeze dried fruit and jus. Delightful. I tested the Server to make an Irish coffee which he mastered and helped to make my experience complete.”

“We held my brother’s wedding celebration at The Woolpack Inn this afternoon and couldn’t have been happier with the experience. We wanted a relaxed, family-style buffet for a small wedding gathering, and it was absolutely perfect. The food was far better than we expected, plentiful, beautifully presented, and with a real touch of luxury. The service was outstanding; every member of staff was polite, attentive, and genuinely caring. Nothing was too much trouble, and every little detail was looked after. A small issue arose during the afternoon, and it was dealt with kindly and professionally, a real credit to the team. Special thanks to Dan, the manager, who was a pleasure to deal with throughout the booking process and so helpful on the day itself. We would highly recommend The Woolpack Inn for any small celebration. They helped make our family day truly special, and we’ll definitely be back soon to dine in the restaurant.”

“Such a lovely stay in this hotel cannot fault it at all. Room was perfect we had booked a standard double and it seemed so much more than that, unsure if we were upgraded but seemed very spacious for a standard. Free standing bath was amazing, had double sinks and a spacious shower too. The spa was lovely it was peaceful and relaxing, staff were very welcoming and polite, had 2 coffees in there which were lovely. Made use of all spa facilities which were in good condition, not overcrowded at all which was nice. Provided robes, slippers and towels in the locker you are given. The hotel was clean and looked so lovely, we had breakfast in the morning which is great value for what you can get, I made good use of the hot drinks machine. Overall amazing hotel, friendly staff, would definitely recommend. Thank you.”

“I stayed here in mid August and I can highly recommend this location. I arrived here following an overnight flight from Texas. It was very hot in England and the rooms do not have air conditioning (which is very typical in England). The staff had though put a fan in the room and it was already running when I arrived. When you arrive, you handle the check in yourself and the process just works. They email you a combination code and your room number and you get access to the key. Painless and easy! I had dinner and breakfast in the Golf club lounge and the staff were friendly. A little short handed but super friendly. I recommend this location and I would stop here again. I only stayed one night.”

Clean and tasty food. The Duck was near perfect. Not greasy but still juicy shredded duck. Sure it's very busy peak times because it's a nice place for a take away.”

“Calcutta is great Indian restaurant located in a beautiful historic building in the picturesque town of Stony Stratford. We ordered, scallops, king prawns, chicken and lamb. All of which was cooked very nicely and had very nice flavour. Overall considering location, decor, service and food Calcutta Brasserie gets a 5 star rating. Recommended.”

“we had a wonderful stay at the swan hotel. The room was spacious and had everything I needed, with décor that was modern and really beautifully done. The thermal spa session was incredibly relaxing and definitely a highlight of our visit. The restaurant offered a great choice of food, and everything was excellent value for money. Overall, a fantastic experience, we will definitely be coming back.”

“This asian grocery is a great spot if you're craving authentic Asian flavors. They've got everything from fresh seafood to perfectly roasted ducks. Love their fresh veggies, fruits, and yummy Asian pastries too. The store is super clean and well-organized, which makes shopping a breeze. They also have a cool selection of frozen dim sum and fish balls for easy hot-pot / dim sum / meals at home. And don't get me started on the snacks—they're tasty and super cheap! “Went for Saturday morning breakfast as fancied a bit of a treat, and we were not disappointed. Breakfast choice was ample and can definitely recommend the sausages and hash browns! (YUM). Service was rapid and only reason for scoring the atmosphere 4/5 was that the music could have been more up beat than what we heard at the time we were there (but still good to have the background music). Highly recommend.”

“We had a lovely meal at The Royal Spiceland in Sawtry. All the food was hot, well-cooked, and full of authentic Indian flavours. There was an impressive variety to choose from, and everything was covered with lids to keep it fresh, hot, and hygienic—no chance of anything going cold or attracting flies, which we really appreciated. The selection was generous, and the hot dishes in particular were absolutely delicious. The only small improvements we’d suggest would be the addition of warm plates to keep the food hot while dining, and perhaps a few more dessert options. Overall, it was a very enjoyable meal with excellent quality and variety. We’ll definitely be returning!”
