“Had dinner in Buffalo mid-week. We didn’t have a reservation. We got a table straight away. The restaurant was busy. Our server, Shah was very helpful and explore menu and suggested some dishes to meet our requirements. The menu had a great selection of dishes. We especially enjoyed the spinach and feta in filo pastry and the prawns. For the main the braised lamb shank and the moussaka were enjoyed. Mehmet was very helpful and checked in with us throughout the meal to ensure we were enjoying our meal. This is an excellent restaurant with good value for money and friendly staff. Highly recommended.”

“Nice little Japorea restaurant with good selection of Japanese and Korean staples; probably best sushi/sashimi in town. Was there during quiet period so can’t comment on atmosphere, but ambience was relaxed.”

“If you are looking for a Sunday lunch with a choice of meat or veg options, giant yorkshires, crispy roast potatoes, plenty of gravy cauliflower cheese and a great selection of veg….this is your place. I have visited corner 5 many times for lunch and dinner, today on a Sunday and I am devastated I have missed out on so many Sundays now I’ve been once. It was delicious. And we were treated to some very skilled wake boarders doing tricks too.”

“It’s one for the books for sure! This is a great place if you like authentic Bangladeshi cuisine with excellent vibe and scenery around the restaurant. Bags of flavour and nothing to disappoint at all, the decor a top notch. The staff were amazing specially with my two kids really friendly and attentive. There is plenty of parking and is free of charge just give them your reg once you enter. Overall this was a really good experience and one I’d love to go again shame it’s soo far away. “The prawn and chorizo special was really good. The service was friendly and helpful and the owner remembered us from last year. There were four of us and three of us enjoyed our pancakes, the other one enjoyed a sausage dish. This time two of us had waffles for dessert. All I can say is, really nice but maybe next time I'll see if someone wants to share.”

My only small frustration was that my scheduled collection order was delayed, but it was clear the restaurant was extremely busy and seemed a bit understaffed. Given how packed it was, the situation was understandable, and the staff were doing their best. Still one of my favourite places for authentic Thai food!”

“What a great experience. A night out with the lads was not a disappointment. From the traditional Turkish food to the array of drinks on offer. Music throughout and an unexpected, but entertaining belly dance show. There was also lots of happy birthday vibes with the staff playing a Turkish drum and getting everyone involved in the celebrations. Do not miss out!”

Our beloved papa, Barry Packer who worked many of nights with the team too, clearly made an unforgettable impression on them all. Was beautiful to see their reactions and hear their stories of working with him;was truly remarkable. A man who was loved by many and treated as one of their own, we will never forget the memories made. “Martini/The Cottage is a very cozy spot for some Italian food. We’d long been meaning to go in and decided to book in for a table of 6 last night. I like the old building a lot. Low ceilings, nice and warm inside, old architecture meets modern decor. Our food was great. I thought the garlic mushrooms with pancetta and cheese were incredible. Very filling and full of flavour. The veal I had for the main course didn’t disappoint either. Some of the most amazing mashed potatoes I’ve had and some very flavourful meat. I’m very impressed. The prices were very good as well. I expected the final bill to be much more. Lastly, they serve a very good pint of birra moretti in here. We hope to return soon!”

“The Spanish tapas here are absolutely delicious! The cheesecake was so good it completely destroyed my “keep fit” plan—I couldn’t stop myself from devouring it. Every single dish was full of flavor and brought me right back to my time in Spain. The only downside? The basement vibe isn’t the coziest and the chairs weren’t very comfortable. Also, the server accidentally tried to charge us twice—but honestly, the food was so good I almost didn’t care! Plus, the staff are actually Spanish, which made the experience feel even more authentic. Strongly recommend! Just… next time, pretty please let me sit at one of the nice ground floor tables. “Stumbled across this place by chance while looking for a pre-theatre meal. We were quite early, so there weren't too many people around but it was still a lovely atmosphere. Staff were friendly and the food was exceptional. Really enjoyable experience and would definitely return if in the area again.”

“My friend and I happened upon this restaurant by accident and were very pleased with the service and the food; polite and helpful staff and generous portions of food! Polly came over once we started eating and offered to hold the baby whilst we ate as he became a little restless and she kept him until my friend had finished her meal, which is very rare but wonderfully welcomed. As i have a sensitivity to sound and usually wear my Cans it wasnt too loud and i managed to not wear them much. Needless to say we will be returning again on our next monthly meet up.
