He was also an absolute dream to work with. Changes to the menu, even last-minute ones, were met with a can-do attitude. His flexibility and positive demeanour took a lot of stress off our shoulders, and made the planning process much smoother for us. The standout aspect of his service was how he accommodated our guests with food allergies and intolerances. He didn't bat an eyelid when asked to prepare alternative meals, ensuring no one felt left out. He took great care to ensure these dishes were as delicious and well-presented as the others, which my bride and I felt was truly commendable. It made those guests feel equally important and included in the celebration. In a nutshell, Danny was not just great at his job but also a great person to work with. “Hidden gem! Accidentally found this place while walking around and it's one of my favourite places to grab a beer in St Neots. Staff are lovely and very knowledgeable regarding the beers they serve. The beers are perfect so they obviously pay a lot of attention to keeping it all clean. There's a nice area to sit inside or outside. On hot days the outside seating gets the shade. I will be coming back frequently”

“Such a great stay. We were greeted by a lovely and sweet woman who explained about the building and guided us to our room. It was clean, the bed was nice, the room was big and the bathroom was good. We had the room with the balcony. Plenty parking space available and a nice little city with a pub. Nice location, just overall very nice. And breakfast in the room. Definitely a recommendation!”

The Annex accommodation is excellent and so is the food. The cleaning standard and attention to detail reflects the conscientious attitude of the owners and the "nothing-is-too-hard" approach strengthens the appeal of this B&B. With three friendly pubs, a couple of down-to-earth convenience stores and easy access to the M1, West Haddon is an ideal place to stay - especially at the Shepherds Row B&B.”

“Location of the Palmersport Caterham Pursuit activity, and also the 4x4 course. It's a log cabin, there is a proper fixed loo a 5 minute walk away. They fit windows to the cabin for winter only, and take them out each spring. The key to the Caterham is an ability to do a doughnut round a cone at the end of the course (this saves about 2 or 3 seconds off the elapsed time). The key to the 4x4 is an ability to keep the vehicle on the sets of parallel bars; the tennis balls are also important but overall the bars are the major part of your score.”

“we stayed in the annex property which was just perfect. we were 2 adults , 1 child and a dog. double bed and a sofa pull out double bed. perfect for a family. it is super spacious, and the layout and furnishings are perfect. its very nicely done up with a cosy feel. the shower room is large and has a very new feel to it. this is our 2nd stay and we will definitely come back again. thank you”
