Do not be put off because this is not the most stylishly appointed venue and note that there are more tables to the rear.”

“I was recommended this place by a client at work and I was so glad to be told about this absolutely amazing place. The service was stellar from start to finish. I don't think I have had so many people attend to just one table before. Anything we asked for was dealt with so promptly and politely I was so impressed. The atmosphere was warm and inviting and the music playing whilst we ate was apt. Our food was flawless through three courses. As I chef I find it very hard to get food up to a certain standard but this was an exception. I can't recommend this place enough and will be returning asap. The arancini was so good, seasoned perfectly and looked beautiful. My beef ragu was stunning.. a depth of flavour that I thoroughly enjoyed. My partners lasagne was amazing and not a scrap was left by either of us. I ordered lemon tart which came with a shot of lemon cello and it was to die for and looked so pretty. My partner polished her brownie in record time. The bill was just under a hundred pounds which was good considering we had multiple drinks. Bravo for being so on point to all the staff and owner. We will be back asap..thanks so much we are truly happy customers.”

What we got: 3 x Oreo cheesecake 3 x Biscoff cheesecake 3 x white chocolate and strawberry cream tart 3 x Ferrero Rocher Mousse domes Marks out of 10 for: Appearance: 10/10 Taste: 10/10 Price: 10/10 Everything on the menu here is handmade and tastes absolutely amazing! “Really lovely place, obviously very popular so I would recommend booking. We visited on a Saturday evening and enjoyed items from the amazing Vegan menu. They were presented beautifully, and tasted wonderful. The only very slight draw backs were that because it was busy, there was a queue for the toilet a couple of times. Also, the more intimate style of the restaurant does mean it can feel a little loud. We cannot wait to go back!”

La Terrazza delivered the food to our venue, it was well packaged and instructions made it simple for us to handle and store the food as we needed items over 2 days. “10/10. Came here with family (all adults but they do have a kids menu) The staff were very very lovely. Popular place but not too noisy. Cannot fault the service. It's incredible how they make such top notch food in such little time. Verrrry rich in flavour, lovely vegetables. They have perfected their cooking. I had the king prawn casserole, which like many of their dishes comes with a side salad and two kinds of rice. Overall, (and my family will agree with me) we are definitely coming again.”

“So I was passing through Rushden and wanted a full English breakfast. Well I am so glad I stumbled across this place. Robert and Kirstie run a wonderful cafe. They also do a fish Tuesday special. Great service, fantastic food and very fairly priced. Highly recommended. It is up Hamblin Court off the High Street. Give it a try!”

“A beautiful tea room with a vintage feel. The owners are attentive without being intrusive and the food is beautiful. The afternoon tea does need to be pre-booked as it is all made fresh; the scones were still warm from the oven! Highly recommended and we will definitely be returning.”

“Don't know the area at all, walked round looked at a few coffee shops seemed pricey for a brew, and was all prepacked heat up behind the counter jobs. Saw a road worker by his van, asked him if he new any decent places for a fry up, he suggested hitchin lol. As I was walking away he said hang on there a place down there called star.. So ended up in here, very clean, nice and pleasant staff at counter waiting. Food prices on par with similar styled cafes. Good selection, food and tea came out piping hot and fresh. Can't fault anything. Will use again if in the area. Was eating on my own as only in area as motorbike having work done in the area. Felt welcome and didn't feel uncomfortable at all like you can eating in some places when on your tod. Thanks guys”

“We went to O'Sarrcino for a birthday Sunday lunch and had an amazing time as a party of 8 including 2 children. Our server, Joy, was fantastic, engaging with us in Italian (family member is learning Italian for their holidays) and she was excellent with the children. Service was attentive, but not over the top. Food was excellent, brought out at a good pace. We didn't feel rushed. It's an authentic Italian restaurant, run by Italian staff, with great food and Italian atmosphere. Would highly recommend and it's worth the drive if you're not local!”

“Popped in for lunch and had a lovely meal. Highly recommend the mushrooms on toast, and the chips were smashing. Slight problem with the battered fish, but the staff were very apologetic, and happy to put things right :) nice touch that the chef also came out to check in with us. P.S. “Came here tonight for the first time with my partner. Initially, the queue was long and we figured we’d be there for a good while. However, they were adequately staffed meaning the queue moved quickly. we ordered large chips, two jumbo sausage and curry sauce. It was superb! Chips were fresh and arguably some of the best chippy chips I’ve had. Sausage was also good. Curry sauce had a nice sweetness to it but I think the pot could have been a bit bigger. Will be returning again, thank you :).”

My pizza and tira misu were gorgeous, but I was a little underwhelmed by my prawn starter otherwise I would have scored 5 stars. My wife and I had starters, mains, shared a dessert and I had 2 drinks and it came to just over £60 so really good value in my opinion Definitely worth a visit”
