“This is a Lovely village pub run by very friendly people. Alas their Google presence is out of date so they don't food (hence no stars) except for Friday evenings but when we're dropped in for lunch they very kindly gave us some roast potatoes and sausages to snack on. I had a really nice pint of ale too. Thanks!”

“First time I've ever had a lamb and haloumi (signature lamb burger) and my mind was blown. The mix of flavours and textures was just amazing! My only regret is only staying in town for a single night, so I could only sample one dish. The watermelon mojito and basque cheesecake were a real discovery as well! “This was an amazing pub/restaurant /hotel that definitely gets 5 stars from me. The hotel rooms above the pub are old world oak beams and quirky with a cozy vibe. The food in the restaurant was top notch. I had the boneless spicy chicken and the pictures say more than I ever could. Very tasty and fantastic quality. The green salad and cherry tomatoes were awesome (I don't usually finish a side salad!!)”

“Been here a few times in the last few weeks and in this time I've had fish & chips, a roast and a chicken burger. All of those dishes were very nice but the true standout is the garlic mushroom starter. Something about it is just spectacular... Prices on food and drink are all very reasonable. We took advantage of the £20 for three courses (including Sunday roast) on a Sunday and I think that is great value. Beer garden is nice too.”

“I recently organised to come to Zapato Lounge with my work colleagues last Friday. The atmosphere, food, staff and the overall organisation for a Christmas booking was fantastic. There was someone who is Gluten Free and also a couple of people who are vegetarians and all requests were taken very seriously which was reassuring. “A wonderful little Bed & Breakfast in a quaint little town! The service is fantastic, the staff are super friendly and extremely helpful. The food is delicious and it has a great pub and patio as well. Highly recommend the Full English Breakfast, the Sausage & Mash, and the Sunday Roast! Breakfast is included when you stay at the B&B. It’s very convenient that they also offer a take away breakfast box if you don’t want to have a sit down breakfast. The rooms are also very comfortable. Awesome place for a meal, drinks, or to stay a few nights!”

They arrived on time, worked around our event timing and most importantly the burgers were delicious! Would highly recommend and look forward to having them back again... maybe to try the pizzas next time!”
