“We ordered catering from La Terrazza for our recent wellness retreat in Cambridgeshire, the food was AMAZING! La Terrazza delivered the food to our venue, it was well packaged and instructions made it simple for us to handle and store the food as we needed items over 2 days. The food went down an absolute treat with the team and clients, and we will absolutely be using Naz and the team for future events. “Wow again fantastic service. Washing machine broke down, great discussion and advice on options including guarantees and programs on the machines, then it was delivered for free that very evening, only a couple of hours later. Amazing. and the machine is great!!”

Food out of this world well compared to any other in irthlingborough Rushden or higham we have tried The crispy shredded beef is amazing every time it's the best Highly recommended if you want to be full and have flavour . The waiting time never had a issue either maybe when busy busy 30 minutes wait . None of this 1 hour wait . Just ordering now as we speak lots of love to the family run business cheers to many more years of great food ordered by many And if your worried where to park there is a car park at the back behind the public toilets near the church if you aren't a local person and want to try . For 3 of us we spend around 30 in total and get quite a bit remember card payers order has to be 20pounds of more anything under its cash only .”

“I had the pleasure of experiencing Moo Hatch at our recent Sales meeting, where they provided lunch for all the staff and it was an absolute hit! The burgers they served were nothing short of amazing, leading to rave reviews from everyone in attendance. The quality of food, combined with their efficient service and the convenience of their mobile setup, made our event even more special. It’s not every day you come across a burger that can genuinely impress a diverse group of people but Moo Hatch pulled it off with ease. Highly recommend for any event or gathering where you want your guests delighted and satisfied!”

“Amazing food! I ordered a mixed grill and chicken tikka with pilau rice. I asked what was in the mixed grill and was told they have sheesh. I informed the person on the phone I wasn’t a fan of sheesh so they offered and gave me extra chicken instead of the sheesh. How kind I really appreciate it. The best mixed grill I’ve had. Absolutely amazing and I’ll definitely be ordering from them again! They also delivered very quickly and food was a 10/10. Thank you and we’ll be back.”

What we got: 3 x Oreo cheesecake 3 x Biscoff cheesecake 3 x white chocolate and strawberry cream tart 3 x Ferrero Rocher Mousse domes Marks out of 10 for: Appearance: 10/10 Taste: 10/10 Price: 10/10 Everything on the menu here is handmade and tastes absolutely amazing! “What a wonderful experience. How silly we've lived in Bedford for 20+ years and we've never been on the river! The John Bunyan Afternoon Tea trip to Mercure Hotel was a lovely family outing. Beautiful scenery, fantastic volunteers who were all really knowledgeable of the history of the river and surrounding Bedford. We learnt so many new things about the town. The tea was delicious and the Mercure catered brilliantly for our Coeliac daughter with a gluten free tea. In fact she had more to eat than us...unheard of! We're already thinking about planning another trip in the opposite direction to Great Barford and The Anchor Pub.”

“Visited French Affaire for a birthday breakfast and it was my first visit. The dishes were delivered to our table quickly and were really tasty. I had an oat flat white which was also very nice! I’d definitely recommend a visit.”

The services is very good. We were served by Antony who was very pleasant indeed and he made us feel welcome and relaxed. He spoke to my 3 year old daughter to. Which was nice.”

“My favorite pub in the UK! I’ve visit a lot of pubs but the Cross Keys is near home and every time I go is all joy, food, drinks, restaurant, pub, garden in summer… I visit almost every week and I never regret it. Fully recomended! Best part? Cruzcampo, a beer from Sevilla, my home town.”

“Don't know the area at all, walked round looked at a few coffee shops seemed pricey for a brew, and was all prepacked heat up behind the counter jobs. Saw a road worker by his van, asked him if he new any decent places for a fry up, he suggested hitchin lol. As I was walking away he said hang on there a place down there called star.. So ended up in here, very clean, nice and pleasant staff at counter waiting. Food prices on par with similar styled cafes. Good selection, food and tea came out piping hot and fresh. Can't fault anything. Will use again if in the area. Was eating on my own as only in area as motorbike having work done in the area. Felt welcome and didn't feel uncomfortable at all like you can eating in some places when on your tod. Thanks guys”

“A beautiful tea room with a vintage feel. The owners are attentive without being intrusive and the food is beautiful. The afternoon tea does need to be pre-booked as it is all made fresh; the scones were still warm from the oven! Highly recommended and we will definitely be returning.”

“Had dinner in Buffalo mid-week. We didn’t have a reservation. We got a table straight away. The restaurant was busy. Our server, Shah was very helpful and explore menu and suggested some dishes to meet our requirements. The menu had a great selection of dishes. We especially enjoyed the spinach and feta in filo pastry and the prawns. For the main the braised lamb shank and the moussaka were enjoyed. Mehmet was very helpful and checked in with us throughout the meal to ensure we were enjoying our meal. This is an excellent restaurant with good value for money and friendly staff. Highly recommended.”

“This was my very first visit to Chez Jerome, I visited with a friend and we were made very welcome. We sat at table no 1 in the window, which looked very Christmasy. We had a extensive menu to choose from. We both chose the festive 3 course menu. I had smoked kipper for starter, my friend chose melon and prawn cocktail. Both were absolutely delicious. We were also served fresh baked small baguette type slices So tasty we finished the lot off! For our mains I chose salmon with seasonal vegetables, my friend chose duck also with seasonal vegetables. The size of the meal was deceiving, there was plenty and we both struggled to get through it, again both were cooked to perfection. Dessert was an amaretto espresso coffee dessert followed by a lovely liquor coffee,I had TIA Maria and my friends had baileys. We also had a glass of water and I had a glass of rosé wine and my friend had a soft drink. The price of the whole meal was very reasonable for what we had. We both thoroughly enjoyed it. My experience here for the first time was really good, I thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere and we were made very welcomed. Thank you to the chef and owners of Chez Jerome and waitress for a great experience.”

“We called in lunchtime on an awful day( pouring rain and windy) needless to say we were the only diners. Vijay our waiter was excellent: helpful, polite, friendly and attentive. The food was absolutely amazing. We had a selection of starters as we like to have a ‘tapas’ type lunch. You get an idea of the standard of food that way. There is complimentary bread and dips and a very good choice of wine. Definitely coming back with friends and family for an evening slap up!!!”

“Popped in for lunch and had a lovely meal. Highly recommend the mushrooms on toast, and the chips were smashing. Slight problem with the battered fish, but the staff were very apologetic, and happy to put things right :) nice touch that the chef also came out to check in with us. P.S. “We went to the Rose and Crown at Hartwell this past Friday... we've been meaning to visit here for a while. So glad we did and sorry we have not been sooner! The food, service and atmosphere was brilliant. They have a great team who are really friendly, helpful and customer focused. The menu was varied and caters for all tastes. I chose the brie and mushroom crostini as a starter - it was superb! The mains were great - I opted for fish and chips and it didn't disappoint. My wife had one of the specials... the honey chilli salmon and rice with pak choi. Again, delicious! We finished off with the amazing cheese platter - it had us beat! A really generous sharer with enough for a to-go box! All round, really excellent value for a delicious meal out. This little gem is just 2 miles from Hanslope. Give it a go and support our local businesses 100% recommended!”

“Came here tonight for the first time with my partner. Initially, the queue was long and we figured we’d be there for a good while. However, they were adequately staffed meaning the queue moved quickly. we ordered large chips, two jumbo sausage and curry sauce. It was superb! Chips were fresh and arguably some of the best chippy chips I’ve had. Sausage was also good. Curry sauce had a nice sweetness to it but I think the pot could have been a bit bigger. Will be returning again, thank you :).”
