For those looking for a more indulgent experience, an afternoon tea option is also available, but requires a 48-hour advance booking. We particularly appreciated the attention to various dietary requirements and allergens, ensuring an enjoyable experience for everyone. Our family opted for sandwiches, salad, and nachos, which proved to be a satisfying and delicious lunch. The quality and taste exceeded our expectations, and the price was reasonable, making for a great value meal. Aside from its delightful food options, Flootes also boasts a selection of champagne and wine, which we did not sample due to the time of day. However, we fully intend to return to this lovely little coffee bar on our next visit to Woburn to enjoy a glass or two. “Had an overnight stay in Woburn last weekend. Longs provided a friendly and cosy place to stay for the night at incredible value. Highly recommended. The only small negative was that I was looking forward to a cooked breakfast that was advertised when I booked however when leaving the building at about 09.00am on a Sunday there were no staff on duty and definitely no smells of food being cooked. I guess I just picked a bad day but never mind.”

“Lucy has been amazing by making sure a table was available for us 40 minutes earlier although the place was super busy as it always is on a Saturday. We were there for a birthday party and Lucy accommodated 7 kids who were waiting desperately to eat. I cannot be more grateful, her understanding and kindness made everything perfect.”

“This place is absolutely amazing! The food is outstanding, We started with the Tandoori Grill Chicken, which was perfectly marinated, juicy, and cooked just right with a nice smoky flavor. The Chilli Grill Prawns were another highlight — fresh, succulent, and packed with a great balance of spice and taste and I can’t stop talking about their Naans—so soft and flavorful. The Chicken Tikka Masala is hands down one of the best I’ve had, rich, perfectly spiced, and incredibly satisfying. Definitely a must-visit!”

“Just finished our meals from Massala and I have found my new Indian takeaway. The food was delicious, full of flavour and piping hot when I received it. The delivery man was very friendly and delivery was quick. Would 100% recommend.”

“Just perfect in every way! The lady and gentleman working there were incredibly polite and gave a super positive and kind vibe. The wait for the food was 5-7 minutes which is not long at all. The Milano I had was an example of perfection, really well balanced flavours, textures and nicely filling. I recommend the Chilli oil! My wife said the same about her Parma. I usually don't leave reviews but these guys deserve the highlight!”

“Update: for our 2nd deliveroo order, we had lemon chicken, sweet and sour prawn balls and vegetable fried rice. My friend was impressed by the portion size of the chicken. I was impressed by the presentation - it looked beautiful. The prawn balls were great again and went very well with the veg rice. The delivery service was also better than the first time, as they put it on my doorstep as requested. My 'atmosphere' rating is for the delivery. Total: £22.50 -- Tasty Chinese meal for 2 for my first order from this takeaway. Great prawn balls - 10 in a light, crispy batter with tails left on for presentation, with a rich, sweet sauce supplied in a separate container. Mixed veg Chow Mein had crispy fresh veg and noodles in a rich, smokey sauce. Roast Duck Chinese style - looked great but my friend was disappointed that the duck was only on the top layer and the rest of the container was bean sprouts. My friend expected more meat for their money and topped up with some of my prawns. Prices: Sweet and Sour Prawn Balls £8.20 Roast Duck Chinese style £8 Mixed Vegetables Chow Mein £6.60 Total £22.8 + fees = £23 Deliveroo driver arrived on schedule and food was hot. However, we were upset that they ignored instructions on order and wouldn't leave food outside door. Instead they wanted us to take the food out of the Deliveroo box, so no social distancing at all. Great food but disappointing first experience of Deliveroo.”

“Lovely setting and really nice looking bar and restaurant. Carvary is excellent value and really tasty. A variety of options depending if you just want a small meal or you want to go all out on a massive meal with extra meat and additional items. Irrespective of the size of your meal everything is competitively priced. As with all carvarys you get unlimited veg. The other bonus is they do not hike up the prices behind the bar. Had a great visit and will be returning”

“A lovely hotel in the middle of a stunning village, with a good pub to boot. Had a stunning room, staff were lovely, as was the breakfast, but the building is looking a little tired and could do with a tidying up in the public areas. But I would recommend staying here as it is great value for money.”
