“Had a take away last weekend for the first time from Thai Chef. My telephone call was answered quickly, ordering was easy and efficient and a time given for collecting, my choice 30 minutes. Easy parking outside the restaurant for a pickup or use of the car park behind the restaurant if eating-in, makes it very convenient. My order of Thai green curry, pad Thai and jasmine rice was ready for pick up on time, Sue even included chilli in fish sauce, thank you. All the food was hot by the time I got home in about 15 minutes to the opposite side of town. A highly recommend local restaurant.”

“Had lunch here with my folks for my birthday and to say it was a delight is an understatement. Kerry welcomed us and looked after us epically! The food (though took a while) was worth the wait. Beautiful Turkish dishes which were authentic and delicious. It wasn't busy today but we have just hit the 6 people restrictions during covid so I didn't expect it to be busy. I can imagine you'd need to book for an evening, the decor is lovely, modern yet authentic. Great value for their lunch menu, although I couldn't help but want everything so went for the mixed grill! Thank you for looking after us and we look forward to our next visit.”

“I can count how many times with my fingers I have been to a Turkish restaurant. This restaurant is round the corner from the main market square and Waitrose, which are the main landmarks to me who is not familiar with St Neots. However, the quality of the food and service exceeded my expectation when comparing those Turkish restaurants which I have been to in London and Istanbul respectively. We went for the lunch menu (on a Saturday) - £13.99 for a two-course meal.  I had battered calamari rings for starter. They turned out to be very crispy outside while moist and soft inside. Then I had chicken shish. The chicken cubes were so moist and tasty. I also ordered a 500ml bottle of Turkish beer to share with my friend. The restaurant's owner kindly gave us some bulgur to try. The restaurant was super clean as it had been renovated not long ago. I ended the meal with a well-presented slice of Banoffee pie. Will definitely go back to try other dishes on the lunch menu.”

“I highly recommend this restaurant. We’ve been to Deroka many times and always happy with the service and food! On this special occasion it was my son’s Holy Communion. My son specifically picked this restaurant to celebrate with family and friends. What a wonderful choice he made. From booking the table right through to the day was wonderful customer service. A special menu was put together for the occasion, decorations were put up, ice cold jugs of water were set up for when we arrived. Changes on the day were not a huge issue. The owner was so welcoming and extremely kind to everyone. Thank you for such a lovely day!! The food was fantastic, the service was amazing and all were so happy with the day. Thank you for making my son’s day so special.”

“I had taken my wife there for her birthday and it didn't disappoint. The restaurant fairly quiet with I think reserved seating. The service very nice and pleasant but the waitress seemed preoccupied. But so what, the food, "oow,..was to live for". Definitely recomend and definitely will be a repeat customer. “A great central hotel. Perfect if visiting theatre or other Northampton attractions. Offsite parking is cheap and close. Staff were very friendly and helpful, rooms were v comfy”

“Cam here on a busy Saturday night. Although the restaurant was busy we got served very quickly and order food quickly. Our waitress was lovely. The food came out very quickly and tasted nice. My partner really liked the spaghetti carbonara. We had dessert, sticky toffee pudding and the Nutella doughnuts. Very nice and came out quick too. Would come back again.”

“A really amazing space and experience. Excellent myriad of dishes that cater for all tastes. Each dish tried was very well cooked with beautiful flavours. I think you have to walk around to take in all the dishes that are on offer before making a selection. The sweet selection was equally extensive with icecream and a candy floss machine. The staff were very friendly and attentive. It is best to book a table beforehand to avoid disappointment. There is a large car parking area outside but only allows 2 hours. There is no heating on that I noticed so it can be quite cold in winter months.”

“Brilliant service from our Waitress Ella who was very polite and helpful. Granddaughters love their spag bol and burger. They got a complimentary foccia bread starter and doughball Nutella pudding that they liked. I wasn’t taken by the Carbonara fries although my burger was fine. It was a bit noisy at times plus the fire alarm went off twice.”
