“Perfect place in norfolk for Americans style food. Loved every moment It is quite busy there sometimes, the staff do their best to let customers know that there will likely be delays on food depending on how busy they are. The food is amazing. I had a mixed grill. Steak was cooked very well, but my favourite part of the meal was the lamb. The chicken was also cooked very well and though i dont often have gammon i was pleasantly surprised by how well this gammon steak tasted. Stilton sauce is one of my new favourites. Its a must for any meat. The chips were also quite nice. Portions are good and for a reasonable price.”

“This place was amazing! The food was delicious, the staff were lovely, and the décor was stunning. The portion sizes were so generous I had to take some home. There were loads of choices on the menu to choose from, but towards the end we waited ages for someone to take our dessert order. As it got busier, it felt like we’d been forgotten, and we were even told to leave before we’d had dessert because it was busier. Thankfully it got sorted, but it was a bit of a shame. Still, everything else was perfect — I’d definitely come back.”

“Normally excellent. My husband and I visited last Saturday 4/11 at 12 noon. I had a breakfast my husband had burger chips and peas. The table was cleared for us to sit down it was not wiped. My bacon was tough, sausages not very nice,my husband left most of his. It also was only warm. We go there regularly and we're very disappointed. We were wondering if it had been taken over. We did not recognise any of the Staff. Maybe it was just a bad day I don,t know.”

“Myself my wife and Daughter was in Burgh castle for a short break. We discovered this restaurant/takeaway while goggling for a takeaway which had gluten free options. We was so impressed with their friendly and understanding staff who reassured us Of their food. Our takeaway was delicious Very good ingredients and cooked so well. We will definitely come back to this restaurant. And would recommend”

“Went Friday lunchtime. Servers were very friendly and the fish and chips were fantastic. Cod fillet (no skin) fresh and perfectly cooked with an ample portion of well cooked crispy chips and for me a must serve yourself salt and vinegar as I love vinegar. We have recently moved to North Norfolk and been looking for a good fish and chip shop. We have finally found it and will definitely go again.”

“We Moored up with the boat at the Lion was a great first stop. The pub was great with real ales and ciders. Ut was really full but we managed to get a seat outside. I'm glad we did I had ham egg and chips. A simple meal were mistakes can be made. I would recommend, lovely place”

“Just got back from an amazing family holiday. Caravan stayed in with a silver with a beautiful balcony, No 36 Swan. Nice and rustic, also had a bath which is rare for a caravan. Lovely and roomy, was a joy to stay in. Absolutely beautiful and comfortable place to put your head down. As for the park, I have been to all 4 in the Great Yarmouth area, although not kitted out as much as the others, this one has hit me and the family as the best and well worth going. Shop on site reasonably priced and other stores near by as well. The only thing that could be better on the park, would be the additon of a soft play but other than that....it was awesome, and no not being paid to say that. Surrounded by nature, peaceful, calm and easy to relax here. I strongly recommend this park. We will definitely be returning next year.”

“Havent been to ARC in Great Yarmouth for many years but the staff were polite, friendly and neat, The cinema was spotlessly clean and well decorated, The seats were very comfortable and it was very warm inside the cinema, The picture on the screen was perfect and the sound sharp and crisp. Highly recomended and will be back to watch another movie there again very soon. Well done Arc GY!”

“A fantastic meal for the 3rd time this week.even though I asked if it would be possible to have something that wasn't on the menu. Great service always with a smile and nothing is to much trouble. The pub it self is welcoming comfortable, clean and lots of facilities, like pool table, darts.even a small pool in the garden and really good sounds on the JB. All in all couldn't recommend enough. A must visit if you looking for somewhere to have a meal or just a drink.”

“Do you know that moment when you decide "you want a curry" and no imitation will do? I found myself on a late Sunday evening thinking this very thing. I had been told of this place so thought I would try it. I was overjoyed to discover it was "banquet night" so for a small fee you got meal starter and side for a great value price especially if on a budget. You did not have to have this option but I chose it. The food was beautiful and the staff although busy were attentive. The venue itself was nicely decorated and had a good atmosphere. There is parking outside but spaces might be limited however there are car parks nearby free after 4pm but check times as these can change (grey friars way and surrounding area) are the nearest. The place soon filled which says a lot for a place. I personally reccomend this place and look forward to returning.”

“Outstanding. Was recommended to this place by the locals. Ordered at 5pm and by the time I collected at 5:30pm they had a pile of orders and people waiting to collect. I can see why. The food was top tier. Each aspect was delicious and I was sad to see my plate empty. Next time I am in this area it will be my first call. Fantastic”

“Delivered 8 miles up the road to Stalham boatyard. Food was surprisingly warm upon arrival and followed delivery instructions perfectly. Tasted like actual pizza instead of cheap kebab shop stuff. Garlic bread was also really nice. Would order again!”

“We had a takeaway and was really pleased we tried somewhere new. The portions were a good size with large naan breads. We had chicken tikka rogan, chicken malaya and sides. All looked and tasted great and will definitely be back.”

“I was very pleased today at my waitress. I think her name was Courtney but I can't remember. Very friendly and had amazing suggestions for dinner. My son started running around out the front and she took a minute to play with him. That was amazing customer service. The food was good also. I had the chicken stroganoff which was great. I would recommend adding a pasta to it though. The prices were fair and food/service were great. I will come back for sure. Pictures of menu and our meal.”

“Beautiful picturesque pub on the side of the river. Perfect location for fresh fish of the day which was haddock with chips. Service super nice staff welcoming and friendly to newcomers. Also I love that the pub played modern music and everyone seemed really down to earth. The toilets were really clean. Beautiful to come here on a lovely sunny day and sit outside to chill. Lovely to see children running around freely playing nicely with one another. Would recommend and would return for the fresh fish and a refreshment.”

“Great Restaurant It's a relatively old restaurant. But it's not a problem at all. It has survived so long it means it's quite competitive locally in my opinion. The environment is cosy and rustic but well cleaned. It provides extra seats for the table for two customers to put their stuff. Tables are not too close to each other that make every customer have more personal space. The menu is massive. It took us a while to make decisions. The food was in generous size. The lamb fell off the bone, very tender. It was enough for a male adult. The rice was well flavoured, I think it was cooked with broth. The seafood was well cooked. The chips were generous amount and hot. The staff are nice and helpful. Looking forward to the next visit.”
