“I reached out to Kai @ Holistic Minds because I struggle massively with the symptoms of fibromyalgia, depression and anxiety meaning that I suffer with chronic pain and struggle to manage my mood and emotions. I've had reiki before and found that it has helped, but I haven't had it consistently. We opted for remote reiki due to distance and to be honest, I was sceptical about it working. I was so wrong to have any doubts, it was a very successful session. I personally dislike phonecalls/videocalls, A LOT! But Kai has such a warm, welcoming, calming and friendly aura, they instantly put me at ease, that was before the reiki even started! I felt like a completely different person after the session. I had been worried about my health, discoloured teeth, always being out of breath, a constant cough & the general smokers smell for many years. “So, I’d been waiting over a year and a half for an MRI scan for my spinal stenosis. When the appointment finally came through last year, I was hit with something I didn’t expect: panic. The machine looked tiny – claustrophobic doesn’t even come close – and I just couldn’t go through with it. I was absolutely gutted - that meant another five-month wait for a second appointment, and I was getting more and more anxious that I’d freeze again. I mentioned it to my sister, Kay, who’s trained in EMDR therapy. I was sceptical. I thought, How is tapping or moving your eyes around going to help with something like this? But I figured I had nothing to lose, so I gave it a go. We did three really focused sessions. After just the first session I was already feeling more at ease. Not only did I manage the scan – because I'm big, it was a real squeeze to get in the machine. My arms were touching the sides and they thought I might not be able to have the scan. I ASKED them to strap pads to my arms so I could go through with it (actually promblem solving so I could get in the machine!!!) They had to ease me in, bit by bit, and I had to keep stopping to wriggle back into position before they inched me in a bit at a time. It should’ve been a nightmare, but it wasn’t. I was COMPLETELY RELAXED. I know how ridiculous that sounds, but it’s true. There was no panic. None at all. I’ve completely changed my mind about EMDR. If it can help me through that, it’s worth shouting about. I even told the radiology team what I’d done to get there. So if this is something you’re struggling with – whether it’s anxiety, trauma, or a specific fear – I’d say get in touch with Kay. It made a massive difference for me.”

“So grateful to Serena Bostok for her core transformation session, releasing fear and spreading peace. She suggested we not choose anything too deep as it was a single session, but anyone who knows me that is not possible, even when i tried my subconscious/spirit gave a loud no and clearly showed me what was ready to be explored. Feeling so grateful, peaceful and quietly settled. Also the most thoughtful directions, space and furnishings that felt juicy to my neurodivergent sensory body. No photos sadly of the room, but it was stunning. I really appreciated the attention to my sensory safety, dimming lights, choice of textures for seating and space and weighted or light blankets. The space created both sensorily and with Serena were nourishing to my inner most being.”

The waiting room is very comfortable and tastefully decorated . The staff are very pleasant and professional at all times .
