“China Palace is my go-to place - I won't go anywhere else for a Chinese Takeaway in Ilkeston. Whenever I go in to collect the guy manning the register is always funny and friendly. The food is a great example of your typical Chinese cuisine in the UK, and is always hot through.”

“I brought special fried rice sweet and sour prawn balls and spring rolls it was still warm and very tasty when I got it to my fiancees house we both enjoyed the food every thing was great and if you like Cantonese or Chinese give happy house a.try I went past two other Chinese/ catanese take away on a tip from a friend and I will say u will be happy you did. It dose live upto its name of happy house and nice and quick hot tastey food perfectly cooked also there is plenty of parking in the council house car park just across the road I think you be so happy with happy house you want need to look any further for your favourite take away. “Lovely student area, good food and serenity. There is a big screen for live events and a sound system for music. The heating system is very effective, keeping the place warm. It's a lovely area to cool off from a lecture or relax before the lecture.”

“Wow! What an amazing experience, first time ordering and we got the lamb gyros and chicken shish wrap with fries, absolutely delicious. Always had wraps and kebabs from high St chip places but will never go back now. So tasty, hot and fast, the driver was adorable. 100% will order again.”

My husband had a portion of wedges and a Double Pepperoni Pizza and was just as impressed as me. Together with a 1.5 litre bottle of Diet Coke, our dinner was £19.99 and was so filling that there's plenty left for tomorrow.”

“Lived in Ilkeston for over 20 years, never managed to have a nice Chinese takeaway. We normally go to Oriental Chef in Sandiacre (but have to collect). Tonight we tried Sue's Kitchen, easy to order on the phone, quick delivery, food was nice & hot and it tasted great too.”

The food is always great quality and worth the price you are paying for. There is seating available inside the takeaway to eat inside but you can also get your food delivered.
