“Thought we'd try our local burger takeaway as needed a quick feast..Munchies did not disappoint Great burgers, so tasty and the chips were delish and I'm not a chip person, just a half a dozen will normally do me but these were so tasty. Defo recommend.”

“Love this place!! The staff is so kind and nice! The food is pretty good too, and so is the vibe. Totally recommend eating here if you're anywhere near Cripps or George Green! Plus they have hot drinks and yum hot breakfast and lunch options!!! (Had jacket potatoes with veg beans and cheese, and hot chocolate on the side, and it was soooo good)!!”

“Very tasty Tender meat (both chicken shish and lamb shish). Pleased atmosphere. Very good salad + pots of sauces especially chilli - perfect! 1 Negative: PLEASE guys - ask customers which salads they would like in their meals ! It's very important to follow each person's preference in terms of salads / sauces. I wanted to give 4 stars based on this experience. However, due to food tastes, I still decided to gove 5 stars. “Pizzas fron here is amazing. Last night I bit the bullet and ordered a lamb Dansak. Anyone that knows me knows I love Dansak but it has to be spicey and I've only come across 2 places that does it how I like it. Agra in Ilkeston (which has closed) and a place in Wales lol. So I've never tried anywhere else for 2 years. Well Tandoori surprised me, their lamb Dansak is the absolute best!!! Will be returning!! Staff are amazing too!!! Love it here”

“This has to be the best fish and chips I’ve had anywhere. Everything cooked fresh. We regularly come here even though we don’t live nearby. The lady who owns it is delightful too.”

“Food was very nice and authentic, really enjoyed it. However I do think the price is quite high, especially the dipping sauces which you need to order individual pots (they are each £1+). I'd recommend at least 4 people to share a hotpot to balance the cost.”

“I have bought food from the Marina for about 6 years now. I’m in no way a regular customer, I’ve probably averaged once or twice a year, but I still wanted to review. Tonight, I got their isiewu, beans , plantain and assorted meat, and suya. Really really tasty, very generous portions and authentic Nigerian food. The owner’s customer service has also greatly improved. He’s nice, and will greet you with a smile and chat with you if you’re so inclined. Highly recommended.”

“Came here for my birthday with family and we were blown by the quality of food. The chef kindly modified one of our dishes to make our experience that much more enjoyable. The interior and menu is on-brand being colourful and fun. We cannot wait to come back and try the rest of the menu. The staff went the extra mile as the table was decorated for my birthday and we were seated by the window as requested.”

“Decided to try a takeaway after a friend recommended here. Absolutely amazing. Delivery was prompt and food was hot and fresh. Beef curry was absolutely amazing, and prawn crackers are made from scratch and not prebought like other Chinese takeaways I have tried. After 10 years I have finally found a Chinese takeaway that beat the old one i used to order from. The staff are very polite, especially Jess. I will definitely be returning in the future!”

“Recommend the lemon chicken, the nicest I have ever eaten, all cooked fresh, with chips or rice. Also the chicken balls, proper chunks of chicken in a really nice light and crispy batter. I had a set three course menu and the portions were generous. It also has a license for drinks.”

“came here for brunch with friends, between us we tried both the vegetarian and vegan breakfasts, as well as hot and iced lattes. was very impressed by the range of dishes offered and the way that the vegan and veggie dishes didn’t just seem like an afterthought. very reasonably priced - full English with a coffee for £11 a head and not lacking on quality or portion size either!! coffee was great too, and we were told that it’s from a local roaster too which is great. Staff were very polite and friendly and it’s just so nice to find another cosy spot that is reasonably priced and caters to everyone!!!”
