“Plesantly surprised at the quality of the sushi. The spicy salmon rolls and salmon maki are better (and cheaper) than other supermarket brands and some restaurant chains. Will be back to try the others.”
“Everything about our experience today was excellent. Lovely open fire, attentive service from both ar staff , manager and waiting staff. The meals came hot ,were delicious and once again the service was great . Really enjoyed today and based on today's experience would definitely recommend. Thankyou .”
“Just had a gorgeous bagel from this place cream cheese salmon avocado and spring onion all in a box with generous portion of chips. Available on Just Eat or collection, definitely worth a try. They also do desserts!!!”
“Generous portions, food cooked really well. Always get my chippy tea from here. This is a take away and not a restaurant.”
“very fast and fresh, my favorite pizza place”
“its worth it to try if you wanna fresh & traditional foods like wings and kebabs which cooked well on the charcoal grill, I've had great experience with Royal”
“Second time here. Food is tasty, staff are really attentive and friendly. Would recommend to others. Slightly pricier than other Turkish restaurants in the area Ordered the platter, awarded 4* as I think they were a little stingy on the meats.”
“Great food, great staff. And a great place brilliant atmosphere, bring your own drinks called in after visiting the Nottingham Christmas Market”

“Had a flying visit to Notts yesterday. Was incredibly fortunate to find this WONDERFUL Restaurant. Not only was the place attractive in style, full of wonderful vibes and happy customers, it also provided the most wonderful food. Paulina attended our table, and could not have been more charming, helpful, informative. She made our visit so enjoyable, as did GIA who provided the refreshments. We had such a great time we took the opportunity to enjoy some champagne too. HIGHLY RECOMMEND !!!!”
“The food was fantastic! We was recommended here and it has exceeded our expectations. Fabulous service also. Thankyou! Rachel & Ben”
“Absolutely fantastic experience. The food and service were excellent, especially on Christmas Day. The staff were amazing, friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to make it a really special occasion. Highly recommended! Special thanks to the manager and team serving the front part of the restaurant ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”
“Loved it! The best chicken I’ve ever had. It was super tasty and juicy. I’m definitely coming back!!”
“THIS is a proper English pub. Stayed here twice, staff are welcoming, food is incredible, none of those cheap crappy sauces, decent portions, great beer and lovely decor and amenities. Can’t recommend enough!”
“I don’t know how this has only a 4.2 stars (at the point of me reviewing) - we’ve ordered from here so many times. It’s the best gyros takeaway I’ve ever had by far, the salad is even delicious. They always delivery quickly - firm favourite”
“The service was and always is excellent at Banyan Tree. The staff are always very professional and friendly at the same time. The restaurant area is always immaculate and clean and refreshingly, the washrooms are always clean and fresh smelling.”
“Strangely enough this pub has one of the best Indian I've had in Nottingham ❤️”
“I have been Taste of India before, but tonight was special - tonight I brought my dad out for dinner like we used to many years ago trying a variety of Indian restaurants. The table was booked for 6pm via the app and we arrived 10minutes earlier, now we were greeted by two regular staff and was received warmly, professionally. Guided to our table, seated and asked for drinks. The restaurant is clean, precise but the only downfall is where the reception and till is situated running along to the kitchen, I feel could be blocked off by a rolling wall to give the staff their privacy. After careful consideration, we choose our appetiser Onion Bhaji x3 which is a really good amount for £4.95, then we ordered a lamb rogan josh which you need to order seperate rice and two plain naan, with my order of keema balti (which I asked if they could make, due to not being on the balti menu - no problem for the staff) also provided with the balti was rice and chapati. As you can see from the pictures, the onion bhaji was cooked to perfection - no raw onions and no clump build up, my father loved the little touch of salad and the wedge of lemon in a squeezer. So it was 10mins to receive the starter, which is freshly cooked and then about 20mins to receive the main - truth be told I have waited longer, so I was impressed with the time because all food is cooked fresh. When the mains arrived, it was enough time to be hungry again. The rice was fluffy, not stodgy and was not overcooked or microwaved, it was tasteful on its own. The Keema was incredible, not overwhelmed with onions but balanced with flavour versus the little kick it gives. Presented beautifully, and the food was so good I did not need to use my fork - thank the lord for chapati and naan. My father's lamb rogan josh was perfectly coloured and the lamb was a lovely pink in the middle, very well cooked and seasoned. It was so nice he managed to clear his plate, lol, I needed a doggy bag and throughout the meal the customer service was second to none. Attentive, polite, professional and smart appearance also extremely helpful. All in it cost £42.05, but I have to be honest I would of paid up to £60. It was a dad and daughter night, will be back again - also my father loved his food and he is extremely picky. So it can be expensive but that's life, what a food and taste experience in beautiful surroundings but I miss the pictures of the waterfalls with cascading water.”
“It was worth the drive across town to enjoy very well prepared thai food. Sauces are authentic. Ambience feels just like after dark when in thailand the host might open their home to passers by and cook from their own home. It felt a privalige. Thank you”
“Fast delivery, food is always hot and tastes great, never had a bad meal from here. Best in Long Eaton”
“We stopped for a weekday lunch and have to say we had a great experience. The venue is cosy and welcoming and nicely decorated. The food was excellent and well presented, and service was top-notch Dogs are welcome inside, which is an added bonus. A good selection of beers and ales, including independent brewers.”
“It was our second time visiting the Admiral Rodney as we really enjoyed our date in there the first time . Always a lovely cosy atmosphere and great we can bring our dog in with us too . On ordering by the app and noticing that pies had ran out I thought I’d check with the man behind the bar . He was very helpful and friendly and checked for me and two pies were still available. Had a starter of a sharing nachos dish then a main of steak and ale pie , mash and veg . Food was amazing and extremely filling . Can’t wait to go back again .”
“First visit a week last Thursday for a friends wake, the pub done Lisa proud. Lovely food and the atmosphere made the day one to remember.”
“Lovely friendly staff good atmosphere great entertainment”
“Excellent Christmas menu meal here on Monday 15th December. All 7 of us were impressed with the quality of the meal and with the service. Lovely relaxing atmosphere and The Cadland will now be our top venue for Christmas 2026! Well done!”
“They cater very well for drivers with a good selection of better quality alcohol beers, the designated driver will be well looked after.”
“Excellent food! Fresh ingredients and a very good portion size. Staff is very friendly and they always treat kids to a sweet. Definitely recommend this take away.”
“Fabulous atmosphere, well organized in difficult times and great staff x”
“Little Elf Steak Pie - A proper comfort classic. I recently had the pleasure of enjoying a traditional steak pie from Little Elf Kitchen and Cafe on Granby Street Ilkeston, and it didn’t disappoint. The pastry was golden, crisp on the top, and beautifully flaky without being dry or overworked. The real star, though, was the filling – generous chunks of tender beef, slow-cooked until meltingly soft, in a rich but not swimming in, savoury gravy that had real depth of flavour. It struck a perfect balance between seasoning and that comforting, homely feel. I had the pie with creamy mashed potatoes, buttery peas, and a touch of gravy on the side – a classic combo that elevated the experience. This pie was packed with filling which took the pie from excellent to outstanding. All in all, a hearty, satisfying dish that delivered on both taste and tradition. I’d happily have this meal again.”
