“Ordered food and it was give or take 10-15 minutes later than expected. It’s Friday night so we was just waiting (we wouldn’t usually call and ask until maybe 20 minutes have gone by) but was really surprised that in addition to our food we received an apology garlic bread pizza. It was really nice to have our wait acknowledged so thank you v much and we’ll be sure to order again following the thoughtful service.”
“Bossman is the best! Always is so lovely and gives you an extra drink or sauce. The best takeaway to go to after the pub!”
“One of the best places in Nottingham. The ramen is brilliant, and the tempura prawns are so crispy (and a great size!) It's small, but that gives it a lovely, friendly atmosphere - definitely worth eating in if there's space.”
“Usually I don’t like pizza that has a crunch, but this pizza had the perfect crunch. I had the meathead but swapped out the ham for nduja + hoy honey drizzle. RECOMMEND Overall great experience, no complaints.”
“My husband and I did a cooking class with Hiroko today and absolutely loved it. Hiroko was so knowledgeable and friendly. She answered all of our questions, gave helpful tips and tricks, and was patient with us. We can’t believe the quality of the food we made and have already invited family round to try out our new cooking skills! We’d definitely recommend her lessons to anyone!”
“We loved our chef V he was very entertaining and he was very funny. The 2 children really enjoyed his food and the jokes. We’d definitely come back again. A great experience from start to finish :)”
“I love this restaurant! A must visit! The service is so good with friendly and knowledgeable wait staff. The food absolutely incredible! Cannot wait to go back already!”
“Superb. The most authentic cuisine we’ve had this side of Thailand. Pad Thai with prawn is great, Tom Yam Gung is epic! Update: Third time and it’s still amazing!”
“One of the best breakfast that I had in UK, seriously, they are amazing. From outside the restaurant/shop doesn't look much, but once you pass their door, you will be surprised by a counter full of amazing products, some of them local. The restaurant go all the way to the back and they also have a beautiful garden. The food is all good quality, nicely prepared and delicious. I recommend trying any of the local products that they sell. They are delicious. I do recommend them!”
“This is a hidden gem in Nottingham! For such amazing quality sushi it's such great value for money! I will most definitely be returning! There's also vegan options too :)”

“Had lunch here today and I was pleasantly surprised at how good this place was. The guy behind the counter was very helpful in explaining the menu to us. The food is generous and actually quite tasty. We sat on the picnic benches outside as there is not much seating in the place itself but someone very helpfully brought our food out when it was ready. The flatbread was fresh with a great filling ratio and a very reasonable cost! Would happily recommend to my friends and order again.”
“We came here for the bank holiday weekend for my birthday and it was excellent. We had a late lunch and also tried the breakfast the next day. The staff were amazing and the food is perfect. We will definitely be back”
“Brilliant and friendly little restaurant, a slice of Italy in the heart of Nottingham. Wide range of pizzas that can be prepared Gluten Free. Great place to eat. M”
“Food is really good, very good portion sizes and free complimentary bread and starters. Staff are professional and accomodating.”
“With the weather in the minus outside, Tylers is the perfect place for a late breakfast. Not bad at all. Fresh bread? Followed by another coffee and a scone. Easy to park for 2 hours. Happy cafe.”
“Had heard good things about Chai Yo Thai so when craving a Pad Thai recently we decided to give it a go. What a brilliant decision. We each had the Saturday lunch deal and went for a honey and lemon tea each to go with it. The tea was delicious and sweet and the food was equally as good. My satay skewer starters were tender and beautifully charred and the sauce was fantastic. The Pad Thai main was equally as good. Portion sizes were very good too and the service was excellent. Now we've tried Chai Yo Thai we'll definitely be back again rather than going to the larger chain restaurants - the food and value is so much better.”
“A wonderful family meal to celebrate my birthday! Staff were so attentive and lovely, food was perfect and atmosphere was fabulous! Love it here!”
“Absolutely wonderful food with such friendly and welcoming staff. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the dishes are truly authentic Japanese cuisine!!”
“Fresh food with a family atmosphere. Loved it.”
“Came in after work for drinks and a great atmosphere. (Empty when we arrived as mid week and early). Good range of drinks available”
“First time visiting.. busy pub with friendly helpful staff- and fantastic food”
“7.0/10 I've always been curious about ordering from here, but the location and mixed reviews held me back. Finally decided to give it a shot. For just £20 after discounts, getting two pizzas is a fantastic deal. And honestly? Damnn this is a good pizza. I'd genuinely recommend it, especially for a quick takeaway. It's the one I'd tell a mate to grab. Now, onto the pizza itself: • The tomato sauce is excellent. Loads of flavour. I'd personally like a bit more of it. • The cheese is solid. Low moisture so no greasy puddles, even with the pepperoni. Rudy's could learn something here. • The dough is light and airy. What really stood out was the salt. You can tell a good pizza by how well the dough's seasoned, and this one nails it. Only downside for me was the flop. I prefer a crispier base with more char to hold it up.”
“Simple short sweet menus with a cosy vibe. Great customer service. Yummy fresh food. Will deffo return again. Vegetarian options available. I have a burrito will try the tacos next time as they also look good”
“Don’t review that often, but this place was unexpectedly great. The pizza and the focaccia is probably be the best I’ve had in Nottingham and I’ve eaten at lots various pizzerias around the city. Some of the best dough and crispy to baked crust ratio ever. Will definitely keep coming back now. Thank you guys!”
