She Advised us in selecting the best burgers in the menu. And finally followed up if food was made to perfection. The original smashed burger was 10/10 Fries were perfectly crisp and well cooked. Double Mac burger was great too. The interiors is very inviting and restaurant itself was clean and maintained high standards of hygiene.”

“They serve those super popular Chinese dishes/street food (Braised chicken, malatang, maocai, noodle soup) but also very authentic. All dishes are recommended, but just be careful with the spicy ones, as they are proper spicy (in a good way!). You can customise the spicy and numb level according to your preference. The service is friendly and quick. The restaurant has quite a lot of seats and always clean and tidy.”

“Colleagues and I stopped here by chance and it was great, despite only being 30 minutes before it closed. The staff were amazing, helped with recommendations because I couldn't make my mind. “I ordered sirloin steak for the first time, I have used River Pearl numerous times as it has always been very good, however the steak was tough, all gristle and chewy, I was unable to eat any of the meat. I rang to explain to no avail, I was told it is excellent steak and they only use the best quality, evidently that was not the case. They could not give a refund. Being a valued customer is not worth anything. I will vote with my feet and never use them again! This is a true and honest review. I have been a customer for 10 years and have never had reason to complain before until now!”

“Pizzas fron here is amazing. Last night I bit the bullet and ordered a lamb Dansak. Anyone that knows me knows I love Dansak but it has to be spicey and I've only come across 2 places that does it how I like it. Agra in Ilkeston (which has closed) and a place in Wales lol. So I've never tried anywhere else for 2 years. Well Tandoori surprised me, their lamb Dansak is the absolute best!!! Will be returning!! Staff are amazing too!!! Love it here”

“Having lived in Lowdham for many years, I've had the pleasure of Chan's cuisine under the 'old' management and was intrigued to find out what the new owners were offering. Two weeks ago, we had ribs, Szechuan roast pork, pancake roll, sweet and sour chicken and fried rice. All of these were absolutely lovely. Tonight we've had similar with pork chop suey and chicken in black bean sauce. Again, absolutely lovely. The ribs were juicy and tender and easily coming off the bone, and all the meals are the right balance of spice and oil, not too dry and not too 'moist' (sorry, still have to giggle at that word!). Some of the spice mixes are slightly different to those of the previous owners but not vastly and this is to be expected as nobody cooks the same. Some dishes were slightly spicier and some slightly less so. In fact some were nicer than before. We really enjoyed our meals, as did our guests who also had food with us. The food is wonderful and we will be going back very soon! Thanks Jess & Chans”

“Whilst a long wait due to the uni £7 large pizza deal the staff at beeston were lovely and visibly trying their best to ensure everyone got their order in the most efficient time. Whilst they seemed to be quite run of their feet they remained friendly and quite entertaining whilst we waited.”
