“Penelope was an absolutely fantastic server and a credit to the company! She was handling both indoor and outdoor areas as well as the takeaway coffees and making cocktails on her own seamlessly! Under the circumstances the food and service was top notch and it was wonderful to be able to enjoy this highly rated and wonderfully decorated venue!”

“Excellent service, the two lads that served me were kind and friendly. Good choice of vegan options, I was recommended the 'reuben dog' which was 10/10. Definitely not overpriced as you get what you pay for. Great quality good from vans are few and far between but this was my second visit and I was once again very impressed.”

“I went to lunch here for the 1st time today, it was amazing. The best burrito i have ever had! It was packed with flavour and a very generous portion which was very reasonably priced. The owner was so friendly and welcoming and the place was lively with latin music playing. A welcome addition to Plymouth. I will most certainly be returning.”

“Spacious pub conveniently located on the A379. The pub retains a cosy modern decor and boasts an excellent menu. It's not the cheapest pub but I've never left disappointed. The dishes are all well presented and tasty. The external Riverside gardens are a lovely addition and if weather permits I highly recommend sitting out there. They have a Rum shack and a Gin house to the rear which really are a delight. The venue very much lends itself to big events such as weddings etc. Toilet facilities are decent. The staff have always been attentive and friendly every time I have visited. Disabled access is pretty good, particularly to the outside areas. The main entrance might be abit trickier without support but their is a more friendly side entrance that may be easier. There is parking for approx. 18 vehicles.”

“Some not so great reviews floating around online. We stayed at the hotel and booked in and were ever so slightly apprehensive at some of the reviews but could plainly see people had combated them with glowing reviews so were interested to see how it would go. It was near faultless, amazing atmosphere nice and quiet but not awkward, just intimate. Food was stunning, some photos attached (burger was slightly salty but super tasty). Wine was delicious, they have an amazing very extensive wine list, perfect if you know what you're looking at. Lauren was super bubbly and polite, noticed she was very engaging with all guests aswell as ourselves. Ruby was also amazing, when my girlfriend left for the toilet Ruby tucked her chair in and folded her napkin ready for her return which was a lovely polite touch. Both deserve some praise for their work. Three courses and bottle of wine (£55) came to around £150 total, feel it's totally reasonable pricing for the experience. All in all, a brilliant restaurant if you want something slightly fancy but not overbearing, in either price or vibe. Was perfect for a smart/casual night out with some great quality food and drink.”
