Our vet, Heidi Thatcher, was so kind, and caring, she explained everything that was going on and that needed to be done to get Molly back on her feet, phoning me daily, sometimes twice a day to update me with Mollys progress during her weeks stay in the hospital. The reception staff helped me with all of the paperwork and I know the nurses took special care of my girl and made sure she was a comfortable as possible giving her lots of love and cuddles while she was away from home. “Everyone at this vet is absolutely lovely and they couldn't be more helpful. In the last few years our twenty-something-year-old cat Bean has been back and forth for multiple visits. The staff on reception have always been accommodating and friendly, but I'd like to give a special shout-out to Matko. Matko has always been a very friendly and empathetic member of staff. When visiting, he always made us feel at ease, even at more difficult times. He always knew what was best for Bean, and simply you could tell he cared about her and cares about animals in general. You can't ask for more in a vet than you get in Matko, he will always be our first choice should we need any care with our other cat! Unfortunately Bean recently passed away, but once again Matko was there to offer us a friendly welcome even at the worst of times, and once again put us at ease. I have no doubt she received the best care and got to live a longer and healthier life thanks to him.”

“The new owner Archie has been absolutely amazing for us and really turned things around. One of our cats has been suffering from skin issues and excessing vomiting for a long time. We have tried different vets, spent a lot of money on tests and medication but not having much improvement. “Where do I start….. My bunny very suddenly become sick and being new to the area, I hadn’t had the chance to get them registered anywhere. I gave them a call as soon as I noticed to ask for some advice and was told to bring her in straight away whilst they were able to register me over the phone. Got there about an hour later and was seen straight away. The vet(didn’t catch his name) noticed straight away that something wasn’t right and swiftly took her for oxygen and assessment. Unfortunately, the team were unable to provide a diagnosis as it seemed whatever was wrong was pretty complex but I was provided with multiple options on how I wished to go on. Sadly, my conkers was getting poorer by the minute on the table and we all agreed in her best interests, it was time for her to go to bunny heaven. My review may seem like a bit of a story but I just wanted to explain on how such a distressing situation for us, the team treated us and my bunny with such care and compassion compared to other vets i’ve experienced in the past. We weren’t treated like money paying customers but more of a member of their family which was a huge relief to us as this was our first pet we have had to go through this with and I couldn’t be more grateful for their support. If you are doing your research or looking for a new vet then you need to come here! ❤️”

“Highly recommend Neighbourhood Vets, had nothing but positive experiences with them. One of my dogs had a bad experience at a different vet practice which left him very nervous and anxious of the vets. Hayley and Tiff were amazing to help build Kobe’s trust, we visited them a couple of times a week for a few weeks and they let us get Kobe comfortable with the team and the surroundings. They gave him treats and let him inspect the room where he had his appointments, by the time he was booked in for his castration he was happy to see all of the team and I had no anxiety leaving him there at all. They did everything to make Kobe and myself feel comfortable and cannot thank them enough! I highly recommend, especially if you have a nervous/reactive dog!”
