“Very good local pub with a friendly atmosphere. The decor is classic old school, the are 2 very nice, old looking wood burning stoves. The bar staff were friendly enough and the beers on tap were very reasonably priced, especially for a pub down south! We went on a Friday and it was busy, but I think that adds to the atmosphere, but turn up early to get a table if you're a big group. I will definitely be returning on the not too distant future and recommending this pub to friends and family. Oh, and it is cash only, so come prepared.”

“Took my favourite summer rolls as a starter, they were fantastic. Rich taste of peanut sauce perfectly combined with mild taste of the prawns. Delicious! As a main I had steak pho, it was yummy. I was really happy with generous amount of well done steak. Noodles were cooked perfectly, they were not overdone and melted in my mouth. I would also like to mention Margherita, who was really friendly and helpful, she even helped me to charge my phone. Great service! Thank you guys.”

“Absolutely wonderful find tucked away near Maidenhead but definitely worth a visit; if you are looking for a standard curry house, there are other good places; if you want a gastronomic experience not to be forgotten, visit this place. It's a small restaurant but it just makes the atmosphere feel very cosy and warm. The place was full when we had our meal but it didn't feel crowded or particularly loud at all.”

“Phoned for a reservation and advised food served from 6 pm. Got a very warm welcome from staff. Shown to table. As well as menu's given, there is a great selection of specials on a blackboard that is brought to table. We had main courses, desserts and coffee afterwards. The food was excellent and ate it all. When I asked if we could have cream with our coffee instead of milk - no problem. We had a nice relaxed evening in a lovely homely pub and our stomachs were full. Well recommend a visit to all. 8th February 2020 - under new management Got a very warm welcome and noticed new decor. Food was FANTASTIC and took photos. Look forward to next visit.”

Tables and sunshades are plentiful, and there are big and small tables, private areas and loads of character. Drinks are tasty and reasonably priced. Also plenty of parking and food looked delicious!”

The dessert, although tasty, was not what I expected when I ordered a Salted Caramel Soufflé as it was not a soufflé but rather an ice cream sandwich type thing. “I've been a regular at Laz Tadim for over 5 years now. If you're local, you probably already know how good they are, but if you're new, keep reading. Laz Tadim is not your average UK kebab shop. The place is spacious, bright, and always spotless with friendly staff. You can really see how efficient and popular they are, especially during peak hours. On quieter days, you might even get to chat with the owner or others serving you. I’ve genuinely never seen such high quality packaging from any takeaway in my 18 years in the UK. They pay attention to the little things, and it shows. We usually go for the chicken shish, which comes with freshly baked bread and fresh salad. The freshness and quality are always spot on. Portions are very good, and everything tastes clean and well prepared. I haven’t had steaming hot bread with grilled meat like this anywhere else in the UK. We also enjoy their doners and grilled chicken wings now and then. I’ve tried their fish and chips a few times when ordering just for myself, and it's excellent too. And if you're into sauces, definitely try the Turkish Ezme. It’s a homemade sweet and spicy tomato and herb mix that my wife absolutely loves. Pro tip: order directly through their website for collection. It's quick, easy, and they often throw in a little something extra, which is always a nice surprise.”
