We can't fault them, from the ease and efficiency of ordering online to the notifications of when it is ready to collect. Our meal was delicious, full of flavour, good portions and great menu choice. “Went with a group of 11. Inc one celiac and Veggie. 3 had starters and most had several drinks plus main course. Worked out just over £30 per head. Pleasant friendly staff who looked after us well. Would definitely use again/ recommend. Parking can be hit or miss but that's not their fault.”

“Probably the best fish and chips ive had in reading, considering i got it delivered too my house too, it was piping hot still and fresh, the batter on the cod was so light and crispy and the thick white flakey cod inside was amazing and there was literally no grease at all , i will definitely be coming here from now on”

“Lovely place with a good atmosphere and selection of ales and the usual drinks. The staff are really friendly and the service is great. A simple menu with good variety, well prepared and quick. The gents toilets were by far the nicest I've seen in any pub - clean, smelt fresh, all facilities functional, and nicely decorated. Yes - a well kept and decorated men's pub loo!! Unheard of!”

“The Sunday buffet was the best one I've been to. We have tried a few Sunday buffets in Tilehurst and the food is always luke warm, all the food here was pipping hot and tasted great. Lots of choice.
