“Toni Server extremely attentive and caring. Assuring all allergy needs are met, warm and inviting. Lovely foods 10/10 service a great asset to the staff. Fab festive menu and good value.”
“We happened to be in the area for my husband’s work and was craving homely food and stumbled upon Elai. Being from Kerala ourselves we have to say this has to be the BEST Kerala restaurant we’ve been to in UK ( and we’ve been to many). From the service to the atmosphere to the food authenticity- it was all PERFECT! Would definitely be returning if we’re in the area. 10/10 recommend.”
“It's been a while since I have been to Las Iguanas and we visited with our 2 young daughters. The staff were super polite and the service was excellent. The food portions were generally quite generous although I felt my chicken fajita needed a little more chicken. "Kids eat free" but it did mean we had to pay for full adult meals. Overall still a great place for South American style food and very family friendly.”
“We went on a Sunday and had the unlimited buffet for £23.95 included a long list of starters, intermediate duck course and main course. All the food was lovely but limited for gluten free and vegetarian options. We had a long wait between the second round of starters but it was busy. The staff were friendly. Have been coming here for years and it's always consistently great food.”
“Food was lovely, service was a little slow and meal came out wrong but staff was friendly and correct food given tasted lovely. Desert was also nice. an expensive place but good food.”
“Had a lovely meal at Kazan in Oxford! We tried the octopus and tuna sashimi, seafood gyoza, takoyaki balls, dragon roll sushi, and duck ramen – everything was really fresh and tasty. Service was quick and the staff were super friendly. Can’t wait to go back and try more dishes next time. Definitely recommend giving this place a go!”
“Today I visited this place, and “Kanchan Shrestha”served us with her beautiful smile and kind behaviour. She was so friendly and welcoming, which made our visit even more enjoyable. A big thank you to the chefs for the delicious food and sweet flavours! I highly recommend this restaurant for authentic Nepali food — the dishes were absolutely tasty, the service was warm and genuine, and the portions were generous. This restaurant is truly wonderful — from the friendly staff to the amazing flavours, everything was perfect. I’m really impressed and will definitely be coming back! Do check this place out — it’s 100% worth your time!”
“Really enjoyed the Thai Green curry, which they were happy to swap aubergine for peppers which I was pleased about and shows the food is freshly cooked to order. Very friendly service and the banana fritters were delicious. Haven’t had these for years so such a nice treat! With the friendly service, the very clean and comfortable dining area and so many dishes to choose from this has to be one of my favourite Thai restaurants.”
“First time back in around 15 years, life's just past by. Last minute decision to eat out and so glad we need, host was lovely and food amazing, friendly place will not leave so long next time. It was like walking into an old friends home for dinner ❤️”
“This restaurant really makes me feel warm and welcomed! They prepared a birthday cake and played thoughtful music, creating a special and cozy birthday atmosphere. Every little detail shows care and personal touch—it truly feels like home. I’ll definitely be coming back ^”
“Really nice place! Very accommodating! Got a seat on the bar as they were busy and great watching all the kitchen staff work! Bacon was amazing! Pancakes were great too!! Wanna go back for poached eggs on muffins”

“Amee's at Basingstoke is absolutely amazing. We unexpectedly found this little gem inside the Honey & Ghee shop in Basingstoke. Ishita the host is really sweet and welcoming. I will say this is one of the best pani puri/ chaat shops in Basingstoke.”
“Great food and service! Would highly recommend!”
“Every time we get curry from here it tastes fresh and flavoursome. The chef's specials are different from the usual and are really tasty. The curry house is always very clean, hence its recent award for cleanliness and hygiene.”
“Absolutely delicious food and the waitress was so helpful. Super accommodating to dietary requirements (gluten free) and offered loads of alternatives. Would recommend as a standalone restaurant, not just if you’re staying there!”
“We drove 20 minutes to try this place and I'm so glad we did! We got the crispy aromatic duck pancakes, sweet and sour chicken balls, crispy shredded beef, special fried rice, noodles and salt and pepper chips. Everything was hot, fresh and tasted incredible! Friendly service upon collecting our order and big portion sizes too. Will definitely be ordering again soon!”
“We had such a lovely evening at the Taste of Genoa Supper Club; amazing food and service. Each dish was chosen for us and beautifully presented, with Lisa and Gab explaining the cooking techniques and traditions of each course. We were well looked after, in an elegant homely setting. Thank you so much for a wonderful foody experience, we will definitely be booking again!”

“Me and my girlfriend came when it wasn’t busy, so had the place to our selves and a good window seat. Food was amazing, the pizza was really good, and the desserts mouth watering. 10/10 would recommend”
“Amazing, delicious sushi at low prices. Beautifully decorated, with a calm atmosphere. I got a salmon platter, which gave me a delightful variety of different types of sushi to try - I definitely recommend this option if you're looking to try a few different styles. The seaweed salad was refreshing and delicious. The strawberry mochi was not my favorite, but not bad. The waitress was very friendly and patient as I took a while to decide. I'd love to come here again.”
“Had to write a review after my second order because honestly, their pizza is bloody amazing. First tried it takeaway, then ordered on Deliveroo, and both times it was phenomenal. Like, seriously, the best pizza I've ever had, hands down. My absolute fave is the Hell's Kitchen pizza. It's got a kick, but nothing that'll make you cry (unless you're that way inclined, of course!). Honestly, can't recommend Thirsty Bear enough. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐”
“Went for Sunday lunch, wow!!! What amazing food and delicious cocktails for a Sunday lunch and great prices to be fair, Staff were brilliant, very attentive and welcoming. I would definitely recommend this place...”
“Highly suggested. Food is really Italian grade. If you are looking real Italian food, this is your place. The crew is really nice and gentle. There is a big parking lot close by. Wine selection is good. Atmosphere of the restaurant is warm and friendly.”
“An absolute gem of a spot, authentic in terms of food and atmosphere. A good variety of halal/veg options as well. The roast duck was especially good, perfectly cooked with a nice crispy skin. Highly recommend. I'm looking forward to being back soon.”
“The Volunteer is a traditional pub in the heart of Theale, Berkshire. It has a warm and inviting atmosphere, with exposed brickwork and a traditional fireplace. The menu features a wide variety of pub classics, as well as some more modern dishes. We started our meal with sticky pigs in blankets. These were perfectly cooked and the sausages were juicy and flavorful. For our main courses, I had the chicken curry and my partner had the steak and ale pie. Both dishes were delicious. The chicken curry was rich and flavorful, and the steak and ale pie was hearty and filling. The service at The Volunteer was excellent. Our server was friendly and attentive, and he made sure that we had everything we needed. We also enjoyed the selection of beers on tap. Overall, we had a great experience at The Volunteer. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. We would definitely recommend this pub to anyone looking for a great meal in Theale. Here are some additional details about the dishes we ordered: * Sticky pigs in blankets: These were made with pork sausages wrapped in bacon and cooked until golden brown. * Chicken curry: This was a rich and flavorful curry made with chicken, onions, peppers, and spices. It was served with rice and naan bread. * Steak and ale pie: This was a hearty and filling pie made with steak, onions, mushrooms, and ale. It was served with fries and peas. Polly our waitress was very friendly and helpful, she is a credit to the pub. Great atmosphere.”
“What a beautiful place. Food was stunning. Becca our waitress was amazing. She was so helpful. Constantly coming to check if we needed anything as there was 13 of us. Definitely will return when we are in the area next.”
