“*5/5 Stars* "I stumbled upon Chopstik Noodle Bar last night, and I'm so glad I did! As a noodle enthusiast, I was blown away by the variety of options on the menu and spicy. I opted for the Spicy chicken with noodles , and it did NOT disappoint. The service was also top-notch. Staff was friendly and attentive. Overall, I'm so impressed with Chopstik Noodle Bar. The prices are reasonable, the portions are generous, and the flavors are on point. I'll definitely be back!”

“I had an amazing experience at SKVP Reading. The food was absolutely outstanding — full of flavour, fresh, and truly authentic Indian street food. The service was excellent as well. “For my sons 21st we ordered Tuk Tuk as had about a year ago and it was lovely. Local ones are overpriced and tiny portions so we thought we’d try again. The food was amazing and so hot and quick delivery. My meal was spicy and usually I give up if too spicy but it was too good to leave. We all said it was so enjoyable and good portions and flavours. So recommend it.”

“We popped into Veena's Kitchen on a bit of a whim yesterday evening and can say with confidence it was the best Thai food I've had in years. The starters were tasty (chicken wings & prawn crackers) & the Thai Green Curry was delicious & punchy. My partner had the Pad Gra Phrao which was also very tasty. Service was impeccable & the total bill reasonable. I can highly recommend a visit. We'll be back very soon!”

“Fantastic place to eat. I've been going here for the last 2 years or so and so far have not had a bad experience. That includes me and my wife, family parties and using their take-away service. The service is amazing, all polite, efficient and the owner of the restaurant is always on hand and thanks us as we leave. The drinks are a little pricer than I would like but that is the same no matter where you go and the pudding options are very limited (although I'm usually stuffed before getting to them) but overall, a brilliant place.”

“Were recommended this little restaurant and visited with a few friends for the “eat as much” menu. Really enjoyed the food and options on offer. Dishes are cooked when ordered which is great, portion sizes were perfect and gave us an opportunity to try different things. Would definately book if visiting as gets busy and not a big restaurant.”

“Shanghai is our go-to Chinese takeaway since we moved locally a few years ago. The food is always of a good standard (can vary depending on day of the week) and the staff are so friendly and welcoming. The menu is very much standard but really enjoy the salt and chilli ribs and their satay sauce, much more authentic than your standard Chinese”

“We went on a Sunday and had the unlimited buffet for £23.95 included a long list of starters, intermediate duck course and main course. All the food was lovely but limited for gluten free and vegetarian options. We had a long wait between the second round of starters but it was busy. The staff were friendly. Have been coming here for years and it's always consistently great food.”

“A gem of a place! Beautiful, little cosy restaurant with lovely food and lovely staff. We ordered Nepalese Chicken curry, Fulka Rotis, Chilli Momos and Saag Palak. The food was yum. Everything was very fresh and tasted authentic. We also tried their Gurkha Beer, which was surprisingly smooth and light. The chilli momos could have been a bit more spicy though, but still good. The staff were very warm and welcoming. We had a delightful experience. Definitely recommend.”

“Our 2nd time to this restaurant, we couldn’t believe how good it was the first time we came, and how quiet it was! This place should be packed to the rafters, there was absolutely nothing that could have been better during our meal. The staff were super friendly and frankly I can’t remember the last time I had onion bhaji’s that were so fresh. Definitely recommended, especially if you are a local :)”

I got a salmon platter, which gave me a delightful variety of different types of sushi to try - I definitely recommend this option if you're looking to try a few different styles. The seaweed salad was refreshing and delicious. The strawberry mochi was not my favorite, but not bad. The waitress was very friendly and patient as I took a while to decide. I'd love to come here again.”

“We took our kids to the sushi shop last weekend, and it was such a pleasant surprise! The staff were welcoming and very accommodating with our children’s preferences. We ordered a mix of sushi rolls, bento boxes, and even miso soup—and everything was delicious. The bento boxes were well-portioned and perfect for a family dinner. The place was clean, service was quick, and the prices were very fair for the quality. We’ll definitely be making this a regular family dinner spot.”
