We were unsure about catteries based on the others we had visited, but then we found Spire Ridge which have amazing large indoor pens, where our boy is always happy and comfortable, and we can leave him there knowing he's getting the care and attention he needs whether we're just gone for a weekend or for a couple of weeks.”

“I contacted the shop at the beginning of lockdown to ask whether they could deliver a daily newspaper to North Thatcham. I had an immediate and very positive response, and delivery began the next day. They provide an excellent service. Highly recommend.”

“I rang up to get my car booked in for a service and MOT (expecting like most service centres to have to wait a couple of weeks for an appointment). Glenn was extremely helpful and accommodating and let me pick any day that suited me (that week!). I ended up having to change the day due to work commitments and this was no bother. Unlike other service centres (who seemed to want to do everything under the sun for a minor service), Glenn and the team said they would take a look at the car, plug it in, and only do the work that needed doing and were 100% open and honest about this - and although I have no idea what definitely needed doing, I took their advice and I felt confident in the knowledge that Glenn and the team were being truthful and honest. I picked the car up that evening (nice and clean which was a bonus) and was pleasantly surprised by the cost for both the service and the MOT. I can say that the customer service was great, the cost was fantastic and actually less than I had expected, and whilst I don't know any of the technical details regarding the parts or what was actually done, I did feel very pleased with the whole experience. I would definitely recommend to others and will be revisiting in the future.”

“I had a really nice experience in Lidl yesterday and also couple of days earlier. Great prices, good quality for low prices. Nice selection of ready lunch salad boxes/sushi. Fresh vegetables and pastries . I had a nice conversation with one member of the staff as I needed some help, the lady was nice and helpful. I was impressed with prices of the sensodyne toothpaste! Managed to find some Christmas decorations already.”

“I highly recommend this clinic. The care and attention my cats receive everytime is outstanding. Dr. Callum is clearly knowledgeable and experienced with cats, especially with Ragdolls, which was a huge relief after visiting other vets who didn’t fully understand the breed. It’s great to finally have a vet who understands my cats’ needs and who truly cares.”

“Came for Christmas dinner at the shire horse. Was greeted with a warm welcome from Mel, who seated us. We had booked the pre-ordered Christmas dinner. The food was brought out in a timely manor, and Amelia who looked after our table always checked in with us. Each dish was impeccable, especially impressed with the steak dinner as it was cooked perfectly to my liking. The atmosphere is warm, calm, and bubbly,a beautiful balance. Thank you to Mel, Stanley, Amelia and all the staff at the shire horse for making this Christmas special x”

“My family, friends, and I had a great time. We were staying for a wedding nearby at The Old Mill, and all the staff were so friendly and helpful with everything. The food was fantastic, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves. The rooms were comfortable and spacious. Would definitely recommend!”

“We had a delicious Sunday lunch at the Berkshire Arms. The food was very good, and the portion sizes generous. Thick slices of turkey and lots of roast veggies. I just about had room for dessert, which was just as well because the Clementine tart was a great way to finish! Four of our party were stuck in traffic and delayed by an hour but the staff were very understanding and didn't rush us. Our server Anett was absolutely lovely.”
