“Lovely food. Took a short while to come out but no problem with that at all since it tasted great. Meal was mildly interrupted when the lady below quite literally jogged after the manager she's talking about shouting excuse me excuse me turning multiple heads. Could just quietly walk up to the bar and query the resolution like a normal person as 50% off the bill sounds reasonable. Shouldn't write this as it's probably giving the attention they obviously look for. Anyway, didn't ruin the experience, will be back again!”

“Lovely place with a good atmosphere and selection of ales and the usual drinks. The staff are really friendly and the service is great. A simple menu with good variety, well prepared and quick. The gents toilets were by far the nicest I've seen in any pub - clean, smelt fresh, all facilities functional, and nicely decorated. Yes - a well kept and decorated men's pub loo!! Unheard of!”

“We got a take away as we were feeling lazy and as a friend had recommended Haka we gave it a try. We had a mix of bits and loved everything we got, we ordered three rice and were surprised to find that they give big portions of rice rather than the small ones some restaurants do. We’ll be going back as we enjoyed the food and the quick turn around time too - about 10/15 minutes. Be warned you have to pay with cash so make sure to take some.”

“The panettone latte is just right for me. Genuine service and attentive to clean the tables. The lady knew I struggled to put on cream and she made it on side for me. The staff were so lovely.”

“First experience of Rizouk and what an experience it was. The service was impeccable and the food was delightful. So many flavours that satisfy the senses. This is the difference between Rizouk and many other restaurants offering similar menu, the preparation and the tastes were accute whereas many other establishments are quite bland. I cannot recommend enough. Give it a go, you won’t be disappointed.”

“We had a good meal hear. Staff were amazing. It's realy quite though but can watch the football while you eat. Did have a problem with the food but it was sorted out. Love this Indian.”

“Always a good day when we come here. Parking is on the expensive side, over £2 for 1 hour. Can't remember if it was £2.20 or £2.50. Kids love it here. My grandad passed away last month and we used to come here with him alot. We even celebrated his 80th birthday here during covid. We came last weekend to remember grandad and share memories with a nice walk around the lake.”

“There’s not too much to do in crowthorne but if in the area or passing through. I recommend stopping at the good food deli. Upon entering I was Welcomed warmly by Julie and Elliot and I immediately scanned the menu. Very pleasantly surprised when I saw everything being sold was good value for money. Pricing was great for a cafe in this area. Full English breakfasts, thick juicy deli burgers with bacon and mature cheese, sliced meats, hot Paninis, cold baguettes and even specials like the roast pork,stuffing and apple sauce champion the menu along with bigger than normal sausage rolls, pasty’s and crispy lamb chicken and vegetable Samosas. The constant stream of customers, new and returning, confirmed my suspicions that the good food deli is the place to stop when in crowthorne. A nice selection of hot and cold drinks also available Great service, good food that’s a winner to me 7.2/10”

“Devil's Pizza exceeded my expectations The crust was perfectly thin and crispy and the toppings were fresh and flavorful. The staff were friendly and provided excellent service. The unique, edgy ambiance added to the overall great experience. Highly recommend.”

“This place serves just about the best fish and chips I have eaten anywhere, I can’t rate / recommend highly enough. The food is absolutely spot on and friendly, cheerful service too. Good value at £9.10 for small cod, chips and mushy peas which were generous portion sizes. The fish is cooked freshly to order and has a nice crunchy batter and perfectly cooked white fish inside. The chips from here are absolutely fantastic - cooked to perfection with a nice golden brown colour, crispy on the outside and soft potato inside. Whatever their cooking process is, double frying, and choice of potato they have it just right and consistently so. I can only assume that the people giving bad reviews are those who like their chips to be the soggy wet undercooked mess all stuck together and stuck to the paper that some other places seem to think it’s acceptable to serve - ignore them, this is fish and chips at its very best!”

“First time here on recommendation from friends. Best Indian meal i have ever had, prices are very good, and service was outstanding. We were made to feel welcome from the moment we arrived, and already planning when we will be back. Ignore negative reviews as we saw nothing that deserves a low rating.”

“Very nice restaurant with tasty Chinese food! Owners are very welcoming and I loved their service. Do visit and give a try. Slightly more expensive than others around. Card only accepted above £10 and charge for below. Covid prevention measures are good too even though the place is not busy.”

“Good affordable pizza in the area. Ordered cause close from our hotel. They do discounts for collection, and i think free delivery for a certain minimum order. Pizza was absolutely gorgeous, sides were good too. The guys at the shop were nice and friendly.”
