“As a riverside location there are few better on the Thames. Don Giovanni's occupies the old Leatherne Bottle and has created a fantastic riverside restaurant with outstanding views and food.”

“Did a group food cooking class for 6 people with Pet. Had a fantastic time. The food we made (vegan red Thai curry) was delicious and Pet did a fantastic job explaining how to cook everything well and to each person's individual tastes. The mocktails we had were delicious. I would definitely consider doing another class for a different dish again.”

“This is probably my favourite chinese takeaway, always very friendly and helpful. Meets dietary requirements such as gluten-free. Food tastes great and is always high quality. It feels like such a welcoming place, e.g. We once went there wanting fish and chips, but it said "no fish and chips, fryer is broken." We went in and said,"we were going to order fish and chips, but we see the fryer broke." She thought for a second and said, "No, you're regular, we make especially for you." This really made my day, and as a bonus, every time it's someone's birthday and we go, they give us fortune cookies for free!”

“Having been lucky enough to attend several of Louise’s supper club evenings it’s obvious that her skills as a chef and host go above and beyond. From the moment you arrive in her beautiful, welcoming house, the perfect tone is set for the evening and you know you’re in for a wonderful event. The table is set immaculately, with fresh flowers and tasteful crockery, creating a warm, inviting atmosphere. The food is consistently, absolutely delicious. Each course thoughtfully prepared, using local suppliers, bursting with seasonal flavour, and beautifully presented. Louise’s relaxed manner makes for not only an incredible feast, but being able to watch her at work, in my opinion, is one of the best parts of Mortimer Supper Club. It’s a privilege to have the ‘insider view’ to watch her effortlessly create course after course, with what seems like minimal effort, when in fact she consistently knocks out high end fare. Unforgettable, unique evenings, combined with exquisite food in a stunning home, I can’t wait for my next supper club gathering!”

“I only ordered the onion bhajis for dinner, but wow — they were absolutely to die for. Perfectly crispy on the outside, soft and flavourful on the inside, and bursting with that fresh, spiced onion goodness. The portion was generous, the seasoning was spot-on, and every bite tasted freshly made. And the mint yogurt sauce? Incredible. Cool, creamy, refreshing, and the perfect match for the warm bhajis. Together, they made the simplest meal feel like something special. Honestly, one of the best onion bhaji experiences I’ve ever had. I’d go back just for those!”

“This is by far the best Indian food I have had in the area. The food was oozing with flavour and the spice was just perfect. The owner was also very polite and courteous. I would highly recommend the mixed grill, fish dishes and the biryani. All for excellent value too”

“Just got takeaway from there to take to my friend in hospital, Food still hot on arrival 20 miles awayvquality and taste of food excellent the friend I was visiting has been in the restaurant trade most of his life and he said it was the best Indian he’d ever had and would give 10 stars if possible. I don’t understand how this place can get any bad reviews the service is excellent the guys are polite and friendly and the food is home cooked and traditional what more do you want?? I can only assume those that give bad reviews are probably never happy with anything and always complain with the hope of getting a discount or ruining the guys reputation”

“Been going there a lot. Great staff. The food is always piping hot. Kebabs and burgers etc are all excellent as is the quality of the meat. I'd recommend the 'normal mix' special kebab.”

“My children love their sushi and katsu, they are always delicious. Today I went to buy some food for my children's lunch, I had to take the dog with me,not knowing that they are not allowed in. The lady at the counter was very helpful and took my order at the door and the looked after my dog until went in and picked it up and paid.”

“I had a delivery to my flat and I had a beautiful meal and it was on time and the driver was very good with me and my experience on the phone ordering my meal was easy n not stressful plus the driver had the right amount of change that was needed which was a first for most delivery drivers plus the meal was not cold”

“Went for lunch Kokoro Friday 3rd Oct. Ordered spicy sweet chilli chicken with noodles, very nice, and large portion also. Staff very friendly and gave me a sample to ensure not to spicy for me (68yrs) Delicious.”
