“Hands down THE BEST pizza in Aldershot. Doesn’t taste like some cheap takeaway pizza that you can get anywhere. It feels almost as if it’s homemade. The restaurant itself is very nice. You may not notice it but there is an area with some tables if you go down the corridor. You can definitely see how passionate the owners were when making this place and well… the food. I also reccomend the spaghetti carbonara”

“Popped in as it was recommended to us and we were greeted by 2 lovely members of staff, chose our table by the fire and ordered drinks and small plates. Everything came quickly, my cocktail was yummy, hubby was won over because his come came in a bottle. Our food was absolutely gorgeous and being by the fire watching the world go by was just perfect”

“Excellent food, attentive service and great ambience. Despite arriving a little early for our booking we were seated straight away. The service was attentive but not intrusive, and we loved the atmosphere in the restaurant. The calamari was the best I've ever had, my creamy pasta dish was delicious and the pannacotta was perfect, perfected by the rhubarb compote which complemented the sweetness of the rest of the dish. Good value too. We will definitely return.”

“Simple but great sushi, noodle and rice options with a good range of proteins including tofu steak. We went with a salmon sushi platter which didn't disappointed; a couple of chicken ramen and a chicken katsudon - all were simply great. Their homemade chilli oil is exceptional and should be used sparingly! Nice team. Go support.”

“Had such a great time at LaFontana!! This is my first time visiting England from the US, and I was amazed by the food and service that I went to get the same meal two days in a row. The menu is exceptional, you can literally get anything you want, they got burger, pizza, steak, and even seafood! I’d go there every day if I could!”

“A favourite pub for the Morris Dancing community. Great setting, beautiful old "real pub" with a fine range of real ales. The staff are lovely and the regulars, of which there are several, very welcoming. Given its popularity, on street parking can be challenging but well worth the effort.”

“Yes, it is very safe place for dine in for families. Staff are very nice. There is a disable toilet in the restaurant. Free parking is available behind the restaurant. We had koftae kebab with turkish bread and chips. It was tasty and freshly grilled.”

“Phoned for a reservation and advised food served from 6 pm. Got a very warm welcome from staff. Shown to table. As well as menu's given, there is a great selection of specials on a blackboard that is brought to table. We had main courses, desserts and coffee afterwards. The food was excellent and ate it all. When I asked if we could have cream with our coffee instead of milk - no problem. We had a nice relaxed evening in a lovely homely pub and our stomachs were full. Well recommend a visit to all. 8th February 2020 - under new management Got a very warm welcome and noticed new decor. Food was FANTASTIC and took photos. Look forward to next visit.”

“Came across these guys by chance and loved everything about this place SO much, that I cancelled our reservation we had elsewhere the following evening, and we brought our friends here instead!! The service and the food is incredible! “This place was lovely. We phoned up to book on the day and they managed to squeeze us in. I'm not surprised it was so busy. They serve the best aromatic duck I have ever had! The rest of the food was just as good too. If I lived closer, I'd eat there all the time.”

“Wow! A fabulous restaurant with excellent and friendly servers. The food was the best Chinese food we've had. Try the boozy chicken for something different and delicious. We also had the duck pancakes, Malaysian Nasi goreng and cashew chicken. All of which were very tasty. Lovely clean white linen tablecloths too. We had an excellent experience here and would.highly recommend this restaurant.”

“Were recommended this little restaurant and visited with a few friends for the “eat as much” menu. Really enjoyed the food and options on offer. Dishes are cooked when ordered which is great, portion sizes were perfect and gave us an opportunity to try different things. Would definately book if visiting as gets busy and not a big restaurant.”

“Shanghai is our go-to Chinese takeaway since we moved locally a few years ago. The food is always of a good standard (can vary depending on day of the week) and the staff are so friendly and welcoming. The menu is very much standard but really enjoy the salt and chilli ribs and their satay sauce, much more authentic than your standard Chinese”

“Real good food. I went with a large group and so I tried lots of different foods. Couldn't complain about any of them. Would definitely recommend going here. It's a bit more expensive than some of the other restaurants around, but I think that if you're looking for a decent meal that's quality meets the price. you can't go wrong with this place! “My family and I visited The Shurlock Inn for the first time as it was suggested to me by a colleague at work. We were greeted by the team and very quickly placed our orders. I would say we must have waited max 10-15 mins for the food to arrive at our table! We chose to go for Sunday roasts which were beautifully presented, everything tasted so fresh. We also went for desserts. Again, everything was presented nicely and tasted excellent. Our only thing which could be improved potentially is the thickness of the gravy/custard as these both seemed on the watery side. I did not let this reflect the rating as everybody has their own preference for gravy! We definitely will return. Thank you again. Courtney & Family.”

“My now wife and I chose LSB to celebrate our wedding reception and we could not have been happier! Jason and the team made sure our special day went flawlessly and truly was the most beautiful day of our lives! The service was 12/10! The food was 12/10! The attention to detail was incredible. They knew the seating plan and which guest had which dish, they accommodated our request for gaps in between courses and they just genuinely provided the most incredible experience anybody could wish! The venue is beautiful and honestly I can’t recommend them enough! I would give 6stars if I could. We will definitely be coming back!”

“The staff are mostly all Italian so you know it's at least ticked the authenticity box. Food was good, staff are friendly, dessert gets brought over on a little cart. Farnborough is the true home from home for Italian cuisine, I've always said that.”
