A fantasticly broad menu that will cater to all needs and best of all....won't break the bank. The service was exceptional with a young man (international student from china) being kind, courteous and recounting stories from his family to support my beer choices. Couldn't fault it!”

“If you like remote and dog friendly, this is ideal. Google maps took us down some country lanes and over a single way bridge, on the map the pub shows pretty much on an island surrounded by country parks & lakes. The location is nice. Car park has about 30 spaces & I think 2 electric car chargers. The pub was pretty quiet when we arrived and the locals/staff were all very friendly and welcoming. The pub itself has a lovely interior. To the food, we had the vegan burger, bacon and cheese burger and the childs fish goujons. All very nice and well portioned. For dessert we had the rhubarb crumble with vanilla and vegan ice cream, finished off the meal perfectly.”

“Simple but great sushi, noodle and rice options with a good range of proteins including tofu steak. We went with a salmon sushi platter which didn't disappointed; a couple of chicken ramen and a chicken katsudon - all were simply great. Their homemade chilli oil is exceptional and should be used sparingly! Nice team. Go support.”

Dishes are cooked when ordered which is great, portion sizes were perfect and gave us an opportunity to try different things. Would definately book if visiting as gets busy and not a big restaurant.”

Absolutely great meal and good value. These guys need a full restaurant with seating! Glass of vino and a three course meal with them would be great.”

“It’s what you would expect from a 5-star experience! When we walked in, we had a lovely welcome from the staff, and proceeded to our table. They were extremely patient and friendly, giving a lovely atmosphere. We had lovely service from Tia and another member of staff (I don’t remember the name of her, apologies). My family decided to order the “As Good As It Gets” Set, with a side of gyoza; the food tasted fresh, delectable, and reasonably seasoned! P.S. The pictures don’t look the best because I looked forward to eating it! Apologies!”

“As an Asian who frequently travels to Japan, this was the most authentic Japanese meal I've had in the UK. Their ramen had seasoned bamboo shoots, and the pork was traditional and pan-fried, so I was very satisfied. The salmon sushi roll was excellent, and the portions were generous.”

“Been a regular for more than 3 years! Consistently great pizzas with great variety of toppings and styles. The service and the food were both excellent! Staff members are always friendly, prices are reasonable and the spot is always kept clean. My all time favorite is of course the Spicy Sea Food and Creamy Garlic Chicken pizza. They definitely deserve an award for their overall service! Highly recommended!!!”

Lovely staff and was a delight to see the kitchen in the back making the food and having true care to what they're doing. Pizza was true to the name with an amazingly crisp base and a dough that was so flavoursome! I just went for a simple Margherita as that should shine how good an establishments pizza is; it didn't disappoint. Tangy dough from its fermentation, beautifully sweet but salted tomato base with creamy cheese. It didn't make the journey home and I was eating slices at the wheel!”
