The waiting area was warm and welcoming after a short wait I was called in by a gentleman called Malik who introduced himself and explained the procedure. He was a credit to the trust very polite and knowledgeable and made me feel at ease . He explained the situation and answered questions I had very well . “My child has had 2 surgeries here under the care of Mr Giles and ward 2. The care he receives is outstanding. I have been given a bed beside him and this time we were lucky enough to have a peaceful room instead of the noisy ward. The nurses and staff has made our visits much better than expected, nothing was too much trouble. Ward 2 has a family area where we can always get hot drinks cereal and I even saw a freezer where parents can get a meal and pay whatever they can afford. There is nothing more we could have asked for so a huge thankyou for helping my son through this difficult time. Bless all NHS staff who make a difference every single day & night.”

“Shout out to the staff at the Sheffield Walk-in-Centre …. went to meet a family member who was experiencing a difficult asthma attack on the back of a chest infection. On arrival, the place was extremely busy, no vacant seats, with people queuing at the desk! staff were clearly working hard, in difficult conditions to get people assessed and treated ASAP! Having mentioned to staff that the asthma was worsening, the response was excellent. They were seen quickly and provided excellent emergency care before being referred to the NGH…. Although someone might say they were just doing the job that they’re paid for…. these were difficult circumstances in a very busy and stressful environment. So thanks to the staff on duty this afternoon for a providing an excellent and professional service.”

“Can't understand what all the fuss is about...... every time I have wanted to see a doctor I have rung at half 8 and been given an appointment. All the doctors have seemed very sensible, listened well and sorted me out. Much better service than my GP back home. Not looking forward to the day I stop being a student and have to go back to having a normal GP where you have to wait weeks for an appointment and they have very few crisis appointment slots.”

“I came here with my partner for an early gender scan, booking process was so easy, I made a mistake and they were fast to change it for me, upon arrival, the inside is beautifully decorated with lots of photo and previews of what’s to come and what they offer. They was instantly welcoming, asking if we’re excited, how my partner was feeling and what we were hoping for After a very short wait we went into a private room for the gender scan, it was surreal seeing how much the baby had grown. The sonographer was very nice and talked us through the process whilst showing us our baby in detail. They warned us to close our eyes so we didn’t see the gender too! Once they had discovered the gender we was able to see our baby for a little longer and even see our baby in 4D. After this we were able to sit through and take out time to select which photos we wanted to take back to our families. We even paid for a video of the whole scan! They were very helpful in showing us the differences of the gender reveal items. We went with two confetti cannons. 2 for £15 I believe. They were definitely worth it! So thank you very much for taking care of us and our beautiful baby boy!”
