“A small village Co-Op. All the basic food and household essentials are available but stock and choice is limited due to the size of the premises. Product quality is good, like all Co-Op stores prices are closer to or on a par with those at Waitrose rather than Tesco or Morrisons. Staff are friendly and helpful. Some excellent end of date food bargains are often to be had. (Pop them in the freezer and use later)!”

“Visited the Lounge for breakfast with family for a little birthday get together. The place was clean & spacious. The decor was lovely too. The service was great, very fast, friendly & efficient. Now for the food, x4 luxury breakfasts & x1 ultimate breakfast . . . . wow, they were all fantastic, the presentation was great, the food was fresh & very tasty. The breakfasts were BIG & definitely well worth the money. We all enjoyed it so much, that we can’t wait to go back. Thank you for making our morning a very happy one. Keep doing what you’re doing!! “Been here a few times for different bits (mainly performances) and their pork sandwiches are pretty decent. Parking can be a bit weird with the tight bend to get in but there's usually some spots available so it's not too bad!”

“Our first experience of Etto today and it won't be our last. The value for money is excellent and the selection on offer is ideal for coffee and cake, light bites or lunch. We had lunch and a treat; everything was delicious. The establishment is clean and staff are quick to clear tables and ensure you are comfortable, even when the place is full. A special mention needs to me made of Laura T who served us with a smile and, despite the busyness, made the tile fly! The food was high quality, piping hot and extremely tasty, so thank you to the kitchen team, and we will absolutely be back! All in all, a great experience and I'd recommend it wholeheartedly to anyone popping up to Lakeside.”

“One of the best garden centres we have found. Their plants are extremely good quality, great choice and amazing staff. We needed a tree delivering and although we are out of their delivery area they still brought it through for us, with a smile. It'll now be the centre piece of our garden and we're looking forward to the spring when we can go and find the rest of the much needed planting. The Bistro is also exceptional and comfortable with great food and the staff are absolutely lovely. The photo is of our lovely Acer Armstrong waiting to be planted up at home.”

“What a fantastic accommodating pub. I work at Ability health and social care we do regular visits and the staff are so approachable. They are very patient and as a community pub they have no prejudices. If anything the staff at the Britannia go the extra mile for us and make our weekly visits an enjoyable activity. Yvonne”

“This pub was recommended by my parents as a good place for a meal and a real ale, on the day of the booking I admit to looking at the reviews and getting a bit worried, however I have got to say it did not disappoint, 5 (I think) Titanic beers plus 3 guest, the decor was traditional pub, with lovely Christmas lights, managed to find space in the car park too. The food was excellent, we had 5 different meals all really nice, steak, gammon, fish pie, fish and chips and a burger, real chips as well! Followes by 5 desserts, the crumble was a very good portion, and the stick toffee Christmas pudding was delicious. The lady who took our orders and delivered food was fantastic and provided great service all night. I would like to return in daylight so I can appreciate the countryside next time!”

“My daughter got married here recently and it was an absolutely amazing day. She married outside in the beautiful gardens which was so lovely. The food was absolutely delicious and the venue room looked fantastic. The evening food of pie and peas was delicious. The staff were lovely and very attentive to all our needs. We stayed the night the rooms very nice they were clean and the beds very comfortable and to round our stay off a great breakfast too.”

The restaurant is beautifully decorated, food was amazing and the fizz offer was much appreciated. Fab evening, brilliant staff, especially Bev. Will I be back, deffo xxxx”
