“The food is absolutely gorgeous, there was barely anyone in (early on a weekday) so we got to choose our table and had quick service. The food was all home cooked really good, not standard pub food at all. Pie was full of meat, gravy was great. The pasta was full of chicken and chorizo, we couldn't finish it all!”

“With over 20 miles of cycle paths, it's a great way of seeing and enjoying this National Trust Property. If you don't need to make use of the NT Car Parks it doesn't cost anything either (Free parking if you are a NT member).”

“Visit regularly, great variety of produce. Fruit and vegetables very fresh and always seem to last a while. Good meat counter with a big variety. Cafe is very nice too. Good for a little trip out.”

“I mean what can I say? Absolutely fantastic breakfast butty *bacon, sausage, egg beans* for a bit cheaper than most other cafes'. Clean and no grease dripping off it. Site is clandestine, staff are fantastic. Could very easily see myself grabbing something every morning.”

“We visited the pub for late brunch as we had appointments at the pharmacy nearby, we were welcomed into the pub by Zack, Natalie which we were told upon arrival find a table and you can either order at the bar or on the app, we chose app order which were very easy to navigate, one downfall of the app is you can't customise your food order to take things off and replace for something else, However the food came and were hot and tasty, Must give Luke the Chef 10/10 for putting pepper on the mushrooms!! They were absolutely scrumptious, I were with my parents have been in the hospitality trade over 40 years, we appreciate good customer service, prompt service, we were not waiting long for drinks or food and this were our first time in this pub and we really did enjoy it and we will be back to try main menu at some point as well.”

“Beautiful meal on Friday evening. I had the herb crusted cod, the freshest fish I've ever had (and I love my fish) and it was a lovely thick piece cooked to perfection. It was served with asparagus and a variety of fresh vegetables also cooked expertly. The butter sauce was divine! My husband had the lamb curry which had a lot of good sized chunks of lamb in it and again was perfect. Not our first visit, had many tasty meals here, it just gets better and better. Highly, highly recommend this exquisite charming country pub with impressive decor and food to match!”

“Yes it's a spoons but out of all the ones I've visited it was one on the nicest. Never have I ordered a Hendricks and it been served with cucumber (even though this it what it states on menu). Top marks Worksop. Didn't eat but plenty of people where and what I saw looked well cooked and nicely presented, definitely better than some other places which I won't name. Staff were extremely pleasant and cleared tables quickly despite how busy it was. Toilets were clean and well maintained.”

“Always good food here and their delivery service is second to none if I have a complaint it's only a tiny one I have always like my eggs with runny and unfortunately they tend to overcook them slightly but no big deal”

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Fantastic Service from Linda the Hostess front of house. I just wanted to give a big shoutout to Linda, the wonderful hostess at McDonald’s. My little lad accidentally knocked his drink all over the table, and before I could even start to clean it up, Linda was right there with a friendly smile and a reassuring word. She quickly tidied everything up and even replaced his drink without us having to ask — such a kind and thoughtful gesture! It’s not often you come across someone who genuinely goes above and beyond to make your visit a pleasant one, but Linda certainly did. She turned what could have been a stressful moment into a lovely example of great customer care. McDonald’s is lucky to have her — she truly made our day!”
