“Our first experience of Etto today and it won't be our last. The value for money is excellent and the selection on offer is ideal for coffee and cake, light bites or lunch. We had lunch and a treat; everything was delicious. The establishment is clean and staff are quick to clear tables and ensure you are comfortable, even when the place is full. A special mention needs to me made of Laura T who served us with a smile and, despite the busyness, made the tile fly! The food was high quality, piping hot and extremely tasty, so thank you to the kitchen team, and we will absolutely be back! All in all, a great experience and I'd recommend it wholeheartedly to anyone popping up to Lakeside.”

“Easy to see why this is a Good Beer Guide CAMRA 2023 pub. Proper town centre two room pub with an older cliental opposite the station. Madge went for Acorn Barnsley bitter as the very short lived British August Summer ended in a downburst. Really love the traditional back lounge. Madge took a pint of Acorn Barnsley bittet. Lovely. Nice place to start or finish a Doncaster pub crawl.”

The service is absolutely amazing, every time I visit, I’m greeted by the kindest and most welcoming staff. “I have been staying with the pastures hotel for around 2/3 year through work purpose. I have to travel around 2/3 hours sometimes to get there, The staff are nothing but warm and friendly, they are always happy to help and super approachable. The rooms are always made up lovely, I have been fortunate to stay in a few of the suites, last one being the bridal suite which was absolutely amazing. Sometimes I can be there for a few weeks at a time, I have always felt the staff were very hospitable which is reassuring when you’re away for a while in an area you’re not totally familiar with. I’d like to mention that Sharon and Michelle in particular are a credit to the hotel and have always been super welcoming!”

“Love this restaurant mainly because of the lovely people who work there. They are always so helpful and friendly. The decor of the place is wonderful, the food is very good and a reasonable price. I've visited several times, and it's definitely my favourite place to eat in Epworth now. Something to note. I take my elderly mum there for a meal and she can't climb stairs and the restaurant and toilets are upstairs! However, the staff are happy for us to eat in the bar downstairs, and the service is prompt, so this has not been an issue.”

“Very clean and cosy room, very comfy bed, owner greeted us on arrival, 100% professional and extremely welcoming. Definitely staying here again. Hotel is on the main road but not too noisy as quality windows installed. Free WiFi, USB ports on sockets, amazing shower. My partner and I have stayed in big chain hotels previously and although they were marginally cheaper (on average between £2-£15) the quality and comfort of the Kellett Hotel surpasses them all.”

“Fabulous restaurant! We’ve been visiting Roccos since moving to the area a few years ago and originally found it by how great it smelled! Every meal over the years has been faultless, the food always tasty and the staff always friendly and attentive. It can get busy on a weekend so it’s good to book in advance to avoid not being able to get a table.”

“Our wedding reception was held here and afterwards we stayed in one of there fabulous rooms. Larrisa and all of her lovely staff were absolutely wonderful. Polite helpful and very patient with all of our guests. Larrisa was our wedding organiser, and what a fantastic job she did. The function room looked beautiful, just as I had asked it to be and nothing was too much trouble. We had a carvery for our wedding meal and it was agreed by all of my guests, that the food was delicious. So would I recommend this venue……..YOU BET. Thank you to all involved with our day, but especially LARRISA. You are a star!”

“Some very dramatic one star reviews on here! Never had an issue - pizza bases not soggy like some places, and come with loads of topping. Other bits have tried - fries are crisp (not soggy microwaved) and chicken wraps which have a good amount of chicken in. Do a half hour round trip car journey to get food from here as better than anywhere else local”
