On my return visit to tweek the planning a little, a coffee was brought to me without asking! All the staff were cheery, happy & so friendly. No pressure sales, quite the opposite in fact. Even changing my delivery to help with their schedules, it wasn't an issue. All the staff were polite & courteous, a big thank you to all.”

“I tend to visit the store quite regularly and would suggest the store itself is in a good location in town but fairly unremarkable in its set up, following the same kind of layout and style you'd see in any of their stores. Average prices and availability generally good but obviously less reliable on release dates or around christmas. However the staff at this branch are really good. I'm not sure if I've ever talked to the same person twice there but they've always been very friendly, knowledgeable, willing to share their opinions with me on games to try and just generally chatty and friendly when at check out. Even when I've been in at Christmas when its nuts they've still been very friendly and asked if I've needed help. To summarise, the branch is just like any other in terms of pricing, availability and layout which makes it unremarkable- worth about 3.5 stars. The staff are what makes this branch stand out and justifies a 5 star rating. Good work.”

“The new Range that has mostly replaced Homebase has a good variety of products and more useful day to day items and more craft items than just diy. There is still the garden centre, paint and home items so not everything is lost from being just a Homebase. Party items and toys are welcome new areas.”

“Every time I come from South my sister and brother in law bring me here... This place is amazing. The service is fast, food is always hot and fresh. The owners are really nice and down to earth people. The best thing I have experienced is the pakistani traditional breakfasts. The size of the parantas are WOW. I can never finish one, always pack to take away. I cant recommend this place enough. If your in the area pop in and have a try.”

“Very helpful and friendly staff. Store has a very good range of products filor it's size and conventional for local / everyday items. Parking can be restrictive at times and on-road parking is challenging. I like the fact that the store offers a Amazon drop-off.”

“Friendly helpful staff, reasonable prices and good food. They don't change where things are so you can get used to that and the set up is great. Helpful opening hours. They just need tetra pak recycling. They have a short stay car park. We have also hired a rug doctor from here and collected parcels, they need to ensjre that tbe printer on it is working though. Sadly they have had to get security tags on stuff as it's also popular with shoplifters, who I saw operating once (two middle-aged guys, one very skinny, the other burly, going in separately on a weekday evening with big sports-style bags), very quick.”

“I was a little bit dubious about it being a motorway hotel, and i was wrong. The hotel was bright and airy, the staff on reception were warm and welcoming. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfy and clean. There was a bath and shower Coffee and tea were available. The hotel was close enough to the services to have a walk there. I had taken the wrong charger for my phone. The receptionist was very helpful and let me borrow a charger. I didn't get her name but she was amazing. The hotel was busy but was quiet. Breakfast was available to purchase from the services. Thank you for a lovely stay. Highly recommended.”
