“Sitting in conservatory, was very comfortable. We just had cappuccino and cake then later pot of tea and chocolate tiffin. It was very nice. Staff were excellent, carrying a tray of tea/cake for me and clearing table when needed.”

“Slightly biased as have been coming here since the early 80s, and although we miss the old style pub, it could have ended up much worse than it is design wise. Food quality is back on an even keel and is consistently of good quality and presentation this taking away that level of apprehension you feel when you go to so many restaurants these days. Shout out to the young ladies and men of the service team who provide a very professional level of service in a pub / restaurant which I know for a fact can suffer from some challenging customers at times...”

“We had a superb visit to Taco Taco. The owners/ chefs are friendly and clearly passionate about their dishes. The food was amazing and the best presentation of Mexican food I've ever seen (and I've tried a lot). The sweet potato Taco was my favourite and the pineapple margarita went down very well. “Located in a quite spot, this place has its own parking so no hassles when you arrive. The menu options are well laid, with table service as standard. The staff is really helpful and polite. I visited with family and was pleasantly surprised that nothing we asked for was too much for them - baby chair, veg options, or tweaking the sandwich that little bit extra. Other than the excellent food, there is a charity hut at the rear garden. You can contribute at the main desk when you come in to the cafe.”

“Found this little gem - and didn't expect to find this view on my way out of Totton! Small fishing lodge cafe sitting amidst 3 lakes and beautiful views. Service staff were lovely and attentive; happy to chat but not disturbing at all. Wide variety of milkshakes to choose from, after a lovely Full English Breakfast. Will definitely come back.”

“First of all I would rate the food. It is freshly made with quality fish and produces. And you can tell that it is made by a single person in the kitchen and served you at the same time. That alone is one of a kind that is really hard to find in the UK. He mainly serves the students around the area, very friendly. I have eaten here a couple of times and the food has been one of the best sushi I have eaten. The price is definitely on the cheaper side given how good it was. If you just want a unique experience, a homely setting, a regular and familiar sight of asia cultural then this is where you want to go. The place isn't very big and isn't made for big parties so is more suitable for table of 6 or less I would say. And expect the food to come out not as quick as there is only one person serving. I will be here often :)”

“We dropped in for coffee and stayed for lunch! Our first visit to this lovely cafe but it definitely won't be our last. We arrived just as the morning rush was finishing so we had a choice of tables, our food was cooked fresh (but even so, with minimal delay) and was just how we like it. Excellent to see a good range of healthy options as well as the standard cafe fare, and the prices are reasonable, especially for a prime location. The picture shows my Eggs Royale - the portion size is two of these but I'd eaten one before I remembered to take a picture!”

“Lovely, clean and quiet little place to eat locally in Woolston. Definitely worth supporting the Small Business in this case as the visit was WELL WORTH IT. My daughter and I loved this visit and enjoyed fabulous food that was prepared in good time and brought to our table with a friendly smiley service. Recommend: Mango smoothie Cappuccino Omelettes with choice of fillings. Cheese, bacon and sausage was a real it. Definitely coming here again!! (4/5 stars only because they had an out of tuning radio station playing with more hiss than music, which became mildly irritating)”

“Was absolutely lovely. Fresh and great quality. Only thing I would recommend is maybe collecting rather than delivery on a busy night as the sauce went a-bit watery due to being packaged. However still arrived hot and fresh can’t complain as I’m sure they where very busy on a Friday night”

We stayed in the farm lodges for a couple of nights and the cafe is the best part of this farm for us - Charlie, the manager and the staff are all amazing. Thank you, Charlie for such a warm welcome.
