“They're forgot my drink however I said it doesn't matter but the driver who was on at about 6pm Thursday 4th went back without being asked to and got my drink. He deserves a raise.”

“Stayed November 2024.We can only say from our experience of the food we had at the restaurant it was prepaid fresh and was very flavorful. The prices for food were no more expensive than expected for a nice restaurant in a Hotel and Spa.”

“Excellent experience for dinner. We booked a table online very easily. Arrived and was shown exceptional service. The food ordering was easy. The food was delicious and lots of it. Prices were reasonable. Not much inside seating but plenty of seats outside. We sat inside. Great atmosphere and we even asked for the playlist as it was so good! Thank you to the team, we had a great meal and will return.”

“Came here for lunch and I was completely blown away! Situated outside of the main town, this gem of a place was a really great find. Quality of ingredients was superb, especially the salmon. Prices were reasonable. Definitely recommend the peking duck roll, eel unagi & salmon nagiri. The menu has a ton of items so be prepared to be overwhelmed at first! There’s something for everyone. Server was really nice and attentive during our visit. 10/10”

“Simply incredible. I've been to many Japanese restaurants, but this small, cozy place has undoubtedly become my favorite. The food quality is outstanding. Everything is freshly prepared with great care. You can truly feel that each dish is made with love and a deep respect for Japanese tradition. The fish is fresh, the flavours are balanced, and the variety is impressive, especially for such an intimate restaurant. The space is calm, clean, and thoughtfully organised. It’s run by a lovely couple who are incredibly kind and welcoming, which makes the experience even more special. Their hospitality and attention to detail really stand out. My partner and I ordered the summer roll, salmon hoso maki, black tiger roll maki (my partner’s favorite), Philadelphia roll (my favorite), tuna and salmon sashimi. The prices are fair and more than worth it for the quality you receive. It’s the kind of hidden gem you stumble upon and immediately want to share with everyone. More people need to discover and try this place. ❤️”

“Dropped in for a caf brunch ended up having a really tasty keto brunch, the wife had eggs and avocado Benedict and kids had cozy meals. Everyone loved their food the service was fast and polite. The cafe was nice and clean. All round we just had a great experience.”

“Lovely evening at Tim's Bistro, the food was very fresh and was a delight to have a wide selection of fish dishes to choose from. The monkfish wrapped in Parma ham was delicious and the mussels were tasty too. They need to sort out their booking system, we reserved a table two weeks in advance but seemed to not have our details on record but squeezed us in on a table at the back. We overheard the chef swearing in the kitchen, sounded peeved that everyone who had sat down for a 7pm booking all had their orders submitted at once and had to turn out all the meals in one blast. Definitely be back for the food, but do sort out your online booking system.”

“I highly recommend Bento! The atmosphere is cosy, and the staff team is always friendly and welcoming. Their Yaki Udon, Salmon Futomaki, and Swiss rolls are must tries. Their drinks menu is also impressive, with refreshing options that perfectly complement the meal. Whether you are in the mood for a fruity tea or a creamy milk-based drink, there is something for everyone. BTW I really love their Tiramisu Swiss rolls ❤️❤️❤️. “Delicious food today. Katsu curry was the best I’ve had in Dorset. Sushi fish was succulent and super fresh. The Ramen bowls also went down well. Very good indeed. A firm favourite with my son, also who travels to Japan regularly. This is his go to local when he’s home.”

“Hursley Cafe is definitely the café we’ve visited the most since moving to Southampton. With its great value for money, we find ourselves coming here almost every Sunday. This is a record of our visit two weeks ago, after our eldest daughter and her friend finished rugby practice in Eastleigh. We ordered Egg Royale, Lasagne, a Kids’ Meal, Mocha, and Hot Chocolate. The food quality was excellent, and the portions were generous. This café gets extremely busy on Sunday mornings, so we highly recommend calling ahead to make a reservation to avoid long waiting times.”
