“We took our VW polo in with a dented door, paint transfer, and cracks on the door and 1/4 panel. Colin and his team restored the car to an amazing standard with finesse and expertise. They also buffed and valeted our car such that it looks better now than it did before the car had gotten into the scrape! All of this great work and service was for a really good price too. The turnaround time was really quick and Colin was very communicative and helpful throughout the entire process. We can’t thank you enough, you’ve done a great job.”

“I had my first accident involving hitting another vehicle after 44 years of driving, even worse it was my fault & I only had my new car for 6 days. My insurance company selected Steer Southampton as my approved repairer. Communication was great with Steer Southampton, providing a link to upload pictures of my damaged vehicle. They then quickly contacted me to arrange collection of my car. I had my accident on a Tuesday & my car was picked up & was delivered to Steer on Thursday morning. I was quickly contacted by the estimation department who went through the damage & what required replacing liaising with my insurance company. I was surprised by the quickness my car would be repaired. I received regular TXT messages to update me on the progress. The car was ready mechanically on the estimated completion date, there was however a slight delay as my car required a specialist reset of the safety systems, but this was organised quickly. I was happy with the quality of the repair work. I would highly recommend Steer Southampton if you require your car to be repaired to a high standard”

“My driver seat door wasn’t closing flush and my garage had already had a look and said it needed to go to a body shop. I hadn’t been to a body shop before so I chose Smart based on reviews. David’s communication was great and when I eventually got to see him, he was able to fix the problem just by sorting out some screws and didn’t even charge me. What a nice, honest decent chap. They have been brilliant in helping with warranty work and steering me through the maze of Mercedes Service Measures. “Needed a second key and for it to be programmed for my car. Telephone last week and was told yes, they could do it. I had been quoted £160 to £198 from different companies. I was pleasently shocked when they quoted £102 inc VAT. Dropped the car off, waiting room with customer loo available, and took myself off for a walk. Returned after an hour and car and key were ready. Friendly and professional and wouldn't recommend anyone else.”

Friend recommended Chris for towing the car and then repairing it for reasonable price and most importantly good quality. “Red Vogue. We were on holiday in Brockenhurst in our caravan and the exhaust emission warning light came on. After speaking to main dealer, who advised getting uplifted/towed home and not to drive the car, we spoke to the lovely people in this garage. They advised to drive straight to them, even though it was later afternoon and they had the issue fixed within the hour for a fraction of the predicted cost from the main dealer. “Very professional service, very quick service needed it for the mot,very professional advice,it worked out cheaper than if I had claimed on insurance ,even if you have windscreen cover on your insurance ,it counts as a claim ,so your insurance will go up .so you end up paying more than if you go direct to ,Steve at Southampton windscreens .I called 7 companies and Southampton windscreens was a lot cheaper than all the others .I never leave reviews ,but I can't recommend enough.you won't find cheaper anywhere else”
