“I had planned a day trip to Southampton and was researching for ages on where to get food, I was torn between herbies pizza and another Chinese takeaway, I’m glad I chose herbies! The pizza was only 9.99 for a large (a deal for collection) so my expectations weren’t super high but I was impressed! Personally I don’t like a super crunchy crust and their crust was soft with the perfect amount of crunch and tasted amazing! The pizza took around 15 mins to cook which is understandable as it’s cooked fresh. It wasn’t too greasy and came with a garlic and herb dip. The guy at the counter was lovely too. I will definitely come back here on my next trip to Southampton!”

“Today I went to Diamond Pizza and Kebab with my friends, and we ordered chicken wrap, doner kebab, and pizza. After eating all this, we were compelled to say that this takeaway is one of the best take away in terms of cleanliness, customer service, and staff behavior. So I will recommend to everyone that they should definitely visit Diamond Pizza and Kebab.”

“Since I discovered Monett it has been my go-to place for food. I've never been disappointed. I've recurrently started stopping in on my way home. The guys working there are exceptionally nice and welcoming. The quality of the food is excellent. The salad looks fresh. The food is always served fresh and hot. The portions are very reasonable. I can rarely finish mine. The prices are also very reasonable and the menu is extensive. Visiting is a nice experience. It is a shame that the overall rating is 2.5. it's important to note that most of these ratings were given under previous management so don't be put off.”

“I have never ordered from here before, but I have to say absolutely awesome. I am really fussy about food, but I have to say my food was hot and really good. Seeing as I ordered at 2.20am it is always a risk. Not in this case. Lovely food. Lovely delivery driver even at stupid o'clock. Will absolutely order from here again. “Excellent experience for dinner. We booked a table online very easily. Arrived and was shown exceptional service. The food ordering was easy. The food was delicious and lots of it. Prices were reasonable. Not much inside seating but plenty of seats outside. We sat inside. Great atmosphere and we even asked for the playlist as it was so good! Thank you to the team, we had a great meal and will return.”

“Came here for lunch and I was completely blown away! Situated outside of the main town, this gem of a place was a really great find. Quality of ingredients was superb, especially the salmon. Prices were reasonable. Definitely recommend the peking duck roll, eel unagi & salmon nagiri. The menu has a ton of items so be prepared to be overwhelmed at first! There’s something for everyone. Server was really nice and attentive during our visit. 10/10”

“Great food and very friendly service! I had the chicken rice stone bowl, which was absolutely delicious. It was served hot (and stayed hot in the stone bowl through the whole meal), with fresh vegetables, tender chicken and had just the right amount of sauce. My wife had the beef ramen soup which was equally tasty - I had to sample it several times! Don’t miss out on this hidden gem!”

“Extremely good price! I got a small english breakfast for only 7£ and it was delicious! All of the food was hot, fresh and so flavorful! The interior is gorgeous and cozy. Staff is attentive and helpful. Will definitely come back again.”

Everything is freshly prepared with great care. You can truly feel that each dish is made with love and a deep respect for Japanese tradition. The fish is fresh, the flavours are balanced, and the variety is impressive, especially for such an intimate restaurant. The space is calm, clean, and thoughtfully organised. It’s run by a lovely couple who are incredibly kind and welcoming, which makes the experience even more special. Their hospitality and attention to detail really stand out. My partner and I ordered the summer roll, salmon hoso maki, black tiger roll maki (my partner’s favorite), Philadelphia roll (my favorite), tuna and salmon sashimi. The prices are fair and more than worth it for the quality you receive. It’s the kind of hidden gem you stumble upon and immediately want to share with everyone. “We arrived and found that our table was in the centre of the bar area which was great fun. There was a fun vibe and we were close to the live music. There were lots of staff on shift and we were served very fast. Throughout the evening the team were on hand and the food service was great. There were lots of wine options and we were pleased with our selections. We ordered lots from the taps menu, and it was delicious. The steak strips and the squid were my favourite. The live music was really good, the pianist and the singer were great. Great to have live music while you eat. Good selection of puddings. Great place for a party.”
