“Dr Tukmachi at the Acupuncture Clinic in Newcastle-under-Lyme has treated me and other members of my family for several different ailments. In my own case , he treated a severe and painful back condition that I had endured for a number of years. Each session relieved the pain for me and eventually banished it completely. He restored my quality of life and that has enabled me to enjoy an active and pain free lifestyle for almost 20 years. Dr Tukmachi also resolved an acute sisusitis problem that had progressively worsened over a three year period and which was seriously impacting on my overall health. The condition was not responding to conventional medicines but amazingly was cured after only a few acupuncture treatment sessions. My wife had been suffering from chronic fatigue for over six years with her condition gradually deteriorating. Eventually she was persuaded to try acupuncture as nothing else had worked for her. After one session she was 95% better and after a few further sessions, she was rid of the condition completely. A transformational experience which has restored her quality of life beyond all expectations! We are hugely indebted to Dr Tukmachi’s abilities and expertise in the field of acupuncture and can recommend his acupuncture clinic in Newcastle-under-Lyme without any hesitation.”

“At around 2 months of age, I noticed that my baby boy was developing a flat spot due to the fact that he was a great sleeper. After spending hours online researching plagiocephaly, I came across numerous solutions which included the Sleepcurve mattress and numerous pillows. I decided to opt for the cheaper option: the Mimos pillow. After using aforementioned pillow for 8 weeks, I could see his head was actually getting worse, and he had developed torticulus as a result. This led me back to my internet research and I discovered that cranial oestopathy, though expensive, could possibly help. I was lucky enough to find Philip Owen's (the Sleepcurve man!) practice and made an appointment to see him. This was the best decision I have made so far as a parent. After my first appointment, George had so much more movement in his neck and was, finally, sleeping on his left! I immediately bought a Sleepcurve mattress and one for his activity gym. This was the second best decision I have made as a parent! It was easy to trim the cot mattress down with a pair of scissors so that it fit my Chicco crib and once in place, George loved it- he could move his head freely which alleviated his torticulus and started to recify his plagiocephaly, and he slept soundly- 12 hours nearly every night! After 4 weeks or so of using the Sleepcurve, his head is starting to round and I am elated. Do not hesitate if you are in the same position as me- buy a Sleepcurve immediately and if you are lucky enough to live in the North west go and see Philip at the Oak Hall clinic. Both George and I can now sleep soundly in the knowledge that we are treating both his torticulus and plagiocephaly in the best way possible. “I went to Sandra back in 2021 as I was due to have lip filler again. I chose Sandra for a few reasons. Firstly Bella Aesthetics is in a much easier location for me, being in the city centre of Stoke on Trent. Secondly my previous aesthetician had recently moved away from the area, and thirdly, Sandra’s transparency over social media with regards to her depth of knowledge and training really impressed me and made me feel I would be in safe hands. From the moment I messaged Sandra I felt reassured that she would help me decide which filler and technique would be best for me. My first experience having my lips filled left me feeling very apprehensive as it quite was painful so Sandra spent lots of time talking me through how she would manage my pain beforehand. On arrival at my appointment Sandra spent some time chatting to me about why I wanted the procedure, what results I hoped to achieve, what to expect in terms of recovery, pain and longevity as well as the minimal risks of side effects. Again I felt reassured I was in good hands as Sandra talked me through everything and I didn’t feel rushed or pressured into going ahead. Sandra then applied lots of anaesthetic cream to my lips, then reapplied multiple times to ensure my comfort throughout. She was constantly checking that I was feeling okay and gave plenty of time for the anaesthetic to take full effect. I was then asked to lie on the bed and Sandra got to work! I cannot stress enough how professional and methodical Sandra is. With each injection she would step back and check how it looked as well as checking my comfort levels and giving me a cool pack to apply between injections. I was quite nervous that it would hurt but due to all the time spent beforehand I barely felt a thing! After Sandra had finished she gave me some instructions on how to take care of my lips for the next few days and said to contact her should I have any concerns. Admittedly I did get home and wonder what I’d done to myself as my lips looked enormous! I knew from my previous experience that the swelling would subside though. I did have to return to Sandra a few days later so she could massage the lumps out where the fuller had settled as I didn’t feel confident enough to do it myself, which she did wonderfully. Of course, my lips settled after a week or so and I longer feared for my face! They looked wonderful and I look forward to having them filled again soon. If you are considering any of the treatments Sandra has to offer, don’t hesitate to get in touch with her as she has a wealth of knowledge and experience, is constantly training and updating her services and she will not perform any procedure she doesn’t feel is 100% right for you.”
