“At around 2 months of age, I noticed that my baby boy was developing a flat spot due to the fact that he was a great sleeper. After spending hours online researching plagiocephaly, I came across numerous solutions which included the Sleepcurve mattress and numerous pillows. I decided to opt for the cheaper option: the Mimos pillow. After using aforementioned pillow for 8 weeks, I could see his head was actually getting worse, and he had developed torticulus as a result. This led me back to my internet research and I discovered that cranial oestopathy, though expensive, could possibly help. I was lucky enough to find Philip Owen's (the Sleepcurve man!) practice and made an appointment to see him. This was the best decision I have made so far as a parent. After my first appointment, George had so much more movement in his neck and was, finally, sleeping on his left! I immediately bought a Sleepcurve mattress and one for his activity gym. This was the second best decision I have made as a parent! It was easy to trim the cot mattress down with a pair of scissors so that it fit my Chicco crib and once in place, George loved it- he could move his head freely which alleviated his torticulus and started to recify his plagiocephaly, and he slept soundly- 12 hours nearly every night! After 4 weeks or so of using the Sleepcurve, his head is starting to round and I am elated. Do not hesitate if you are in the same position as me- buy a Sleepcurve immediately and if you are lucky enough to live in the North west go and see Philip at the Oak Hall clinic. Both George and I can now sleep soundly in the knowledge that we are treating both his torticulus and plagiocephaly in the best way possible. “An argument about secret internet spending with my other half led me to find Michael. This was over 12 months ago and I’ve been seeing Michael since then. During my first session with Michael he identified that my compulsive buying was a symptom of another issue and he was absolutely right. This initial problem I had is so much better, and it’s down to Michael’s help that I can say that. I’ve continued to get much needed help from Michael on other issues I have as my other half has a terminal illness and I recently lost a beloved pet dog. I wouldn’t want to be without the support he offers as I navigate the difficult course which lies ahead. Through our work together I’ve also been able to clearly see I have neurodivergent tendencies. “Having had concerns for some dark (what I thought were moles) on my back addressed by my GP I was told that they were Seborrheic Keratosis. The NHS considers these cosmetic so will not refer further treatment (apart from in exceptional circumstances). I was therefore left wondering what to do? I contacted Hayley at Eccleshall Dermatology Clinic and had a consult. She explained what my treatment options were with the Keratosis. That some of the large ones would need a local anaesthetic to numb the pain, before being fairly painlessly removed. In the end I had three sessions with Hayley and she removed most of the marks from my back (there were quite a lot). Some of them were a little sore to be removed, however she kept the pain down to a minimum - and more importantly kept me chatting so I was suitably distracted. She advised on ongoing treatment and how to keep the keratosis at bay, and also that they are associated with aging. A month later and I am pleased. There are minimal scars, my back is clearer and its given me renewed confidence to be able to do more fitness activities including swimming and running.”

“Great I saw Dr Chandamani almost 3 weeks ago and he just sat listened made notes asked me questions and he had a very good understanding what I was saying. The clinic wasnt hard to find, very professional clean clinic. The secetaries are also fantasic and very accurate and helpful in answering any questions. Dr Chandamani prescribed me medication which my GP is now prescribing me. The medication seems to be working at the moment. I would highly recommend seeing Dr Chandamani for a fast appointment, help asap, and for someone who understands you and will listen.”
