“It’s a tired roadside Travelodge, however it was spotlessly clean and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The hotel needs updating, but I’ve rarely stayed in a somewhere as immaculately clean”

“Lovely staff, lovely rooms, not super modern, but have everything. Stairs are a bit dated, but it totally suits the building, superbly clean. We would definitely stay here again, especially for the price. Ample car free parking. If you're a train enthusiast, this is a must! It's opposite the train station. We visited Stoke on Trent and Nantwich, and both 20 minutes drive away. There were many more places about it, but we only stayed 2 days. Near Tesco express, macdonalds and loads of food delivery places.”

“Just had a 1 night stay for our 40th wedding anniversary had our evening meal and I had a fillet steak it was beautiful, my husband had the lamb pie it was very tasty but a bit on then small size. The room was spotless and very spacious, breakfast was delicious, I will definitely visiting again. Thank you”

The location is perfect for visits to Stoke on Trent and there are a host of great local pubs to eat at within 20 minutes. Breakfast was ideal and would recommend the oatcakes! “We visited here to meet with the RSPCA rescue centre staff to adopt a cat so can't comment on the cattery or dog boarding but the pens were all very clean and spacious. Plenty of parking on site. Easy to find.”

“I've stayed here twice & would highly recommend it, Rural location (on a farm), en-suite accommodation with access to a fully equipped kitchen. The accommodation is located in a separate detached building, which is next to the farmhouse. It's very clean & a freshly cooked to order break to set you up for the day. There's plenty of parking, I once turned up in a very large van & parked no problem.”

“Have been staying in the one of the a cottages for a month while waiting for a house to go through. Cottage perfect, has all amenities needed plus a great welcome package. Outside jacuzzi which wasn't on with it being late autumn but would be lovely in the hot weather. The owner Jane is so nice and provided us with clean bedding and towels each week. If we were moving away I would definitely stay here to visit our family.”

“Alex and team always look after Pip so well. We use both the Day Care and boarding and know how safe and happy Pip is when she is here. Alex’s knowledge of dogs is exceptional, has supported us in how to adapt to support Pip at home but also created such a great environment for the dogs. “Fabulous location a stones throw from the golf course and cricket ground. Really close to Newcastle and not a million miles from attractions like Waterworld or Alton Towers. The main draw though is the strawberry picking nearby. You cant escape the rural location when the 12 and 13 year old tractor boys walk around. The food though and the decor are first class. Whilst sitting waiting we watched 10 or 12 different meals come out and we could have ate every single one. A big recommendation from me.”

“Recently got married here and we had a perfect day. Carol was very involved with organising but was never in the way. Nothing we wanted was ever any trouble and the planning process was smooth thanks to the staff. Brett who runs the marquees and wedding side of the business was incredible and again very accommodating. Lovely family and great place. Would definitely recommend staying here for a holiday as well as a wedding as the house is incredible and has everything you could ever need.”

“Our dog, Bonnie, loves going. She goes in in the morning very happily and then, when I pick her in the evening, she comes home satisfied after lots of exercise and socialising. The staff are all really friendly and helpful and seem to care very well for in the dogs in their care. They also made it their business to get to know my dog and her quirks when we first started going.”

The breakfast was lovely with plenty of choice. The grounds and outside spaces are attractive and well maintained and there's plenty of parking available.”
